Chose this cruise for its Itinerary. Embarkation was stress free and we were on the ship within half an hour of arriving at Southampton. Our cabin, on deck 12, was immaculate and impeccably looked after during our stay. We had seen negative reviews of Navigator but had no complaints - the food in the Sapphire Dining Room was excellent with extremely good choice of dishes and the waiters were friendly, kind and efficient. The entertainment and activities were varied, there was something for everyone and standard of the shows excellent. We loved the Morning show on the TV with Cuddy and Daniel - hilarious. All the crew worked incredibly hard in all areas including the unsung hero’s behind the scenes. The only ‘fault’ we had was with a shore excursion advertised as a ‘Panoramic tour of Agadir’ and turned out to be a view over Agadir of the sea, a visit to a Mosque which was closed and rest of the time was at a Souk! Not value for the money 59$ each. We found Navigator of the Seas to be a very stable ship and was maintained very well - and would certainly travel with Royal Caribbean again. Read Less

We cruise with RC quite regularly so it is very easy to notice the ever increasing evidence of cost cutting each time we go on board. It hasn't quite reached the point where I would consider going elsewhere but it's very close. Firstly, the Main Dining Room. Vastly understaffed. Can't blame the wait staff. It's not their fault that there isn't enough of them. Result is a very long wait between courses and the food is always cold when it arrives. I don't really wish to make complaints when I am on holiday but after 3 or 4 visits of cold food and long waits, we found it was better just to go to the Windjammer and serve ourselves. We found the food in the Windjammer to be of really good quality so we didn't miss the MDR at all Secondly, the atmosphere on board had way too much, sell, sell, sell. I appreciate RC is a business and needs to make a profit but constantly making tannoy announcements for sales of this, sales of that, does start to get irritating. Adding 18% to any and all drinks is a bit cheeky. Especially as most of the time I had to go to the bar myself due to the shortage of waiters. There is also a shortage of bar staff. Doing away with providing shampoo and conditioners is a bit stingy. I would rather pay a bit extra and have these provided as opposed to having to bring my own. Also, the ship is beginning to look a bit worn and tired.. Lots of broken seats in the lounges and carpets with frayed edges getting caught on peoples shoes. And one common gripe, there are simply not enough loungers for the amount of passengers on board. We did see a few arguments caused by guests who left towels on loungers all day even when they weren't being used. On the plus side, the cabins are kept spotlessly clean by the stateroom attendants. Two of the headliner acts were good. The comedian and the ventriloquist . The singers and dancers seemed to be just going through the motions. Read Less

The itinerary was the attraction, embarkation was very good, we had a issue with the cabin on arrival which was dealt with straight away but we had to change cabins next day which all the staff handled very well. After this everything was very good all the food every where we ate was excellent staff in all resturants where very nice and polite but I do think it is a shame that staff are not clearing tables in the windjammer when they are getting drinks for guests who seem to forget that this is a Buffett resturant nod these guest are quite able to get there own drinks. Ports of call where ok but for Marseille when it was either 1mile walk out of the port then having to get local bus or a 20 doller each transfer to the town even the taxis didn't seem to know what they would charge us,. Entertainment on a whole not very good the production team shows we think where poor but the headliner shows were not to bad watchable. We would travel with Royal Caribbean again it isstilloneof our favourites, Read Less

We have cruised on Navigator many times and thoroughly enjoy the ship, the staff and the food but not always the entertainment. We find people from all over the world interesting but we do not enjoy the negative reviews that some cruisers find it necessary to emphasise, peoples opinions vary but we find some comments do not relate to the same cruises we have experienced. We sailed on 12 May and the first 3 days we not as warm as usual for the time of year however temperatures improved and as we have visited these ports previously it is still a pleasure to repeat our visit, the entertainment in the theatre could have been better but the ice skating is excellent, I think since the drinks packages have been offered to cruisers and the dress code is more casual, cruising is not the same at all but each tohis own as long as everyone has a good vacation. It had some destinations we haven't been before so it makes it more interesting but nice going back to other familiar places as well. the staff where all great and they help make your cruise we have done quite a few different RC ships and we have found the staff on all of them the same very friendly and hard working. We are looking forward to our next cruise in October and started thinking about next year we have a few ideas. You meet some great people who become friends and meet up with them on other cruises. We got to Southampton at 10-30 and was on board by 10-45 sat in the coffee shop having a coffee and relaxing so quick and easy they have a good system it works. some of the entertainment wasn't up to normal standard or it might just have been not our choice but on a whole not bad Read Less
