An excellent check-in process (thanks to online registration) was later quickly forgotten when I found notes in my suitcase saying that Security had confiscated my 6-outlet power surge cord and my rare Olive Oil. When I protested these items to Guest Relations, they immediately offered a single outlet extension cord (8’ orange heavy duty) for power, and explained that the Olive Oil was a “prohibited Item.” I asked where it was prohibited because I certainly didn’t remember seeing such a warning, but she had no answer and no sympathy. When I asked where the suggestion box for the Hotel Manager was located, I was told that the only way to interact with him was to personally complain to the Guest Relations representatives (CSRs) who would enter it into the computer. Really? The last thing I want to do on a cruise is to have to wait in line to solve a problem I didn’t create. It’s a very outdated business model. RCI advertises the best WiFi at sea, but it’s still terrible. I made the mistake of thinking I could work in the library using e-mail to transfer files to/from my company. Regular Outlook would not function at all; probably due to “closed Ports” according to my IT department. My company’s Outlook Web Mail worked; but was very slow. Best case, it typically took 8-15 minutes to email or upload a 5-6 MB Excel or Word file (typically containing a dozen small photos). There was only one IT guy to help with WiFi log-on issues, and he only worked 8-hour shifts. Oh, they did have a couple of extra people occasionally standing at the help desk; but they only had very basic knowledge and could not help me. Being a healthy eater, I asked the attendant at the Gluten-Free salad station, where the Olive Oil and Vinegar were located. I was told there was only the “house dressings” available. A day later, I found those items located on a display with the steak sauces and condiments. Talk about a clueless staff! Butter? For breakfast on the first day, I picked up a pat of butter and took it to the table. The expiration date was 3/27/19, which was one year from the manufacture date. Since the 27th was only a few days away, I handed the pat to one of two restaurant managers that were apparently “supervising.” His response was that there were still a few days before expiration. So, I asked him why eating year old food did not seem wrong to him, but he simply protested that they had several days remaining. After the 27th, they were still serving the butter. And that’s why I like to bring my own olive oil. Read Less

Time of year and amazing destinations we have never experienced before. Most were easily explored on our own. Great weather may for memorable sunsets and good use of the balcony. Travelling under the Great Belt Bridge with 1.5 metres to spare at midnight was thrilling. We enjoyed the itinerary so much we would repeat the experience one day. Would have liked to call into Stockholm but was not on this itinerary. Entertainment was pretty good especially the pianist in the Schooner Bar which had a great atmosphere. The ships orchestra were brilliant and much enjoyed also as trios at other times. The dining experience was the only thing that let it down - the queues were enormous and sometimes we decided to go without a dessert or we would have missed a show. The service was slow arriving from the kitchen to the table. The food was great when it came but when you are sitting on a table for two it was a long wait and when you are sitting on a larger table we sometimes run out of conversation! The food itself was delicious even for us vegetarians. Read Less

My husband and I were travelling with a group of 60 passengers and this was our 1st ocean cruise. I was nervous about being on the open seas, but once on board Navigator of the Seas, all fears were gone. It was a smooth sailing vessel even when the N. Sea became a little choppy. Thoroughly enjoyed the live shows in the theater, the entertainment (trivia, sing-a-longs, etc. ) in the Schooner lounge, friendly chats at Boleros, dancing and socializing in the Cosmopolitan and the English pub. My favorite though was the Promenade Cafe, where we were able to indulge in English scones and other pastries with a nice cup of tea at any time we wanted too. I decided to have a spa hour and enjoyed a soothing massage in clean comfortable surroundings. Also enjoyed the gym, but preferred to take in the fresh sea air by going for walks on the decks. As for the meals, our scrumptious dinners were in the Sapphire Room and we had our breakfast and lunches in the Windjammer, which were delicious and fresh. I did not get to eat at any of the other restaurants, but heard that the meals were great. Also had fun and enjoyed the on board shopping. Had the opportunity to have a chat with the Captain which was a highlight. The crew from different parts of the world were courteous, very friendly and helpful. It was a super experience to be on board the Navigator of the Seas. Read Less

We booked this charter cruise via Voyage Privee at an amazing price. The lead prices were over the top and it looks like they had to be drastically reduced in order to fill cabins. Cruiseco, the charter company, really need to do their homework on pricing if they intend chartering ships out of the UK again. They also need to make sure that all agents have it available, as they seemed to be quite selective as to which agents they chose. We initially booked the cheapest inside cabin but were extremely happy to find that, when our documents were emailed to us, we had been given a balcony cabin! Quite a treat. We found our cabin to be of a good size and very well presented and clean. Our stewart did a great job every day and the towel sculptures made us smile! Embarkiation was relatively smooth, although there were very long queues at Southampton. However, once on board, everything went well. We chose to self disembark and had no problem in that regard. We absolutely loved everything about this cruise. The ships was great, all staff fantastic, food great too. We took the drinks package and felt it was well worth it. The choice of premium drinks on board is huge. There were 3 ports of call: Bilbao, Vigo and Lisbon. We had visited Bilbao before, so didn't venture into town on this occasion. Vigo seemed pretty small and we walked around and did our own thing. Lisbon was by far our favourite port, where we had booked a walking tour (independently). This was a fantastic way to the see the city and we plan on returning in the future to spend a few days here. Although we had freedom dining, we only ever ate in the buffet which served a fantastic choice of well cooked dishes. We were always extremely satisfied with the offering and couldn't find much to complain about. However, we did learn very quickly on the first day not to visit the buffet at 1 p.m. (peak time) as you will struggle for somewhere to sit. I guess this was made worse by the formal dining rooms not serving lunches during this cruise. As expected, the entertainment was wonderful and the atmosphere on board superb. We really hope that more cruises of this nature will be scheduled in the future, as we would jump at the chance to do it again. Read Less

My wife and I took this cruise as part of the Ante-Up Poker group. It was our first time on Navigator of the Seas and our first cruise with RCCL in 5-years. EMBARKATION: in Miami: It was a "nightmare"! In 20-years of cruising it was the 2nd worse embarkation experience that we have experienced - the worse was several years ago in New Orleans with Carnival. I won't go into detail but please take my word, it was horrible! THE SHIP: The ship was fine. Clean and in good condition - what we expect every cruise. ENTERTAINMENT: I enjoyed the entertainment more than my wife did. I would rate entertainment 9/10. CABIN: We had a balcony on Deck 8, mid-ship. We were very satisfied with the cabin. ACTIVITIES: I came on the cruise to play poker so I spent most of my time in our private poker room on Deck 2. My wife is a "sun goddess" so she spent most of her time in the sun. She did go to the ice show and said it was GREAT! FOOD: We did not try any of the "specialty" restaurants. They did not appeal to us but there are several to chose from. We mainly ate breakfast/dinner in the Main Dining Room (MDR). We were there with a large group so we had tables assigned together. The second night the Dining Room Manager tried to move our group of six to a table on the other side of the MDR because he wanted to assign other people to our larger table - we got that worked out and remained at our table the entire cruise. Day 2 the dinner service in the MDR was very bad but a talk with the Head Waiter cured that and our service was EXCELLENT the remainder of the cruise. As for the food in the MDR (evening meal) I rate it 5/10. We were on Carnival in March and Celebrity Oct 2017. Carnival easily had better food and Celebrity there is no comparison. The food int the Windjammer (buffet) was the worse we have experienced on any cruise (and we have been on a lot of cruises). I rated them 1/10. SERVICE: Cabin Steward 10/10 Dining staff; 10/10 (after the 2nd day) Casino Staff: 10/10 STOPS: Everything was good there. We had to skip Aruba (been there many times) due to bad weather. Our Captain wouldn't try to dock - Carnival made it. DEBARKATION: That went GREAT! BOTTOM LINE: I had a great cruise. 9-days of playing poker! I even went upstairs to the ship's casino and won a cruise on the Allure of the Seas in December (Cabin + a seat in the $100,000 poker tournament). Read Less

It was an affordable vacation on Spring Break as a family. Navigator of the Seas was a decent ship. It was not that modern. You could tell it was refurbished at some point. The decor was inviting, a little above average. The room was as expected, same decor and size as most ships. The staff was above average. Very efficient, polite, everyone greeted us. Service was very quick and friendly. We were impressed by the service We didnt partake in any excursions so no comments here The entertainment on the ship was pretty good, not mind blowing, but you could tell they made an effort to keep us entertained especially on sea days. One exceptional thing on the ship was the ladies that took care of the youth programs. AMAZING WOMEN. My daughter never wanted to leave. The only part of the cruise that my wife and I were really disappointed was the quality and variety of the food, especially in the Windjammer buffet. Felt more like the Unjammer at times. Food was very mediocre, and the choices were limited. Dining room was ok but the menu needs more choices. I would recommend themed night, like Italian or Mexican, those are always fun Overall, the cruise was average. What you would expect nothing more. Nothing to blow your mind. This was a good cruise for a family vacation, or couple of college kids with little cash who just want a fun week together. Read Less

This was our third cruise with RC, our first on Navigator of the Seas, our first time leaving from Port of Miami. We picked this cruise to spend time with friends attending Pool School on board. We live near Tampa and we decided to drive to Miami port that Morning. If you are driving in, consider driving down a day before and stay at hotel near the port to avoid concerns about traffic/flight tires/car issues etc. If you are flying in, fly in a couple of days earlier and enjoy Florida. Avoid meltdowns from airplane delays by giving yourself a cushion. Also, when you return, make sure you give yourself time to make your flight. Traffic is bad in Miami. Use Self Assist (you carry own bags) and leave at 7:45AM to beat the crowds. We did and were very happy with the experience. Our Drive to Miami port was without incident. We found departing terminal G, got our bags to the porter, and parked at the parking garage. The garage parking costs $20 a day, and they take cash or credit card payment when you leave. I like the convenience of being able to walk to the car when returning from the cruise. Getting our seapasses only took a few minutes. Tip:If your set sail docs indicate "Suite" make sure you get into the Suite line. We had a junior suite and an inside cabin. Junior Suite was sweet, if you can afford to splurge it is worth it. We got on the ship around noon and the ship was gorgeous. There were 16 of us in the group we travelled with, so we never had a dull moment at dinners. We ate at three upcharge restaurants : Sabor (Mexican), Giovanni (Italian), Chops Grille (Steak). The other two nights we ate at the Sapphire Dining Room. Chops was my favorite. Great Ribeye, excellent Mushroom soup. I splurged for the lobster. It was tasty. Our wait staff were from Turkey and they were awesome. Big compliments. Teşekkür ederim!! Everyone on my party liked Sabor, I am not big Mexican food fan, so I defer to my family and friends who were with me on the cruise. Great service. Giovanni's kitchen service was slow and the entree's were brought before the pasta, which was somewhat irritating, and we requested the entrees be sent back and the pasta be served prior to entrees. It would behoove them to consider serving the pasta family style to speed up service. On a good note, the filet was excellent and the staff was very kind. It would behoove the manager to come to the table and check on things. Our Waiter Mr. Singh was King in the Sapphire Main dining room. He made a point to learn our names and the service a superlative. He and his assistant were superlative in service. धन्यवाद (Thank you./Dhantavaad). I hope we meet again, I was honored to meet Mr. Singh. Foodwise at Main Dining, the quality appears to be reflecting the push to get people to eat at the upcharge restaurants. The "Jumbo Tiger Prawns" were anything but jumbo and the shrimp cocktail had small shrimp. All my entrees were delicious, The Lamb Chops were great. When anyone at our table requested something else the food appeared with friendly service. As an aside I wish they brought back Lobster night. My friend from work went on the Carnival Magic and enjoyed lobster. That being said, the cook staff have a daunting challenge daily of preparing so many delicious meals and I applaud them for doing so successfully night after night. Köszönöm!! Breakfast was available in the dining room and windjammer. Both were good. The hash browns in dining room and the diced potatoes in Windjammer need some work. Eggs Benedict were good but I wish the eggs were more Poached and less soft boiled. The mushroom omelet is good. Service was very good. We ate at Johnny Rockets for lunch Monday. It was good but the upcharge is now $10 and used to be $5, and does not include shakes. Also, the drink packages do not apply there. Just a caveat. Service there was great!!! Дякую!!! There are three drink packages (Soda, Soda/Coffee/Smoothies/Water Bottles, Alcohol plus Soda/Coffee/Smoothies). If you order ONLINE before you arrive the price is cheaper. Whether to choose a package and which one is based on your personal preference. Café promenade on deck five had pizza and tasty snacks. Pizza was poor the first couple of days but last day was much improved. You can get Ben & Jerry's ice cream or shake for a small charge. I purchased WIFI to be able to text others in our party. I was not terribly impressed as I stlll was unable to text from time to time. This may have been user error, your results may vary. Our Steward was attentive and very courteous. धन्यवाद (Thank you./Dhantavaad). We ate late so we did not attend the shows. Our three kids did not participate in the youth programs this time. We had two ports of call, in Costa Maya and Cozumel (Mexico). Both were tourist spots with plenty of shopping and food/drink. Both places accept USD and charge US style prices, . Margaritaville in Cozumel made the Guacamole to order at your table, my compliments. At Costa Maya, some in our party swam with Dolphins. Photo packages were pricey. In Cozumel we met Moses, who took us to El Cid Hotel next to port and 10 of the 16 went on a snorkeling trip while the rest of us stayed at the hotel beach. We were on cruise during spring break, so the hotel pool was full of fun and bubbles and they had a DJ playing enthusiastic music. My compliments to the boat service as they took care of our people and got them back early so we could all return to the ship on time. Overall a great trip. My only caveat would be that due to our cruise being during spring break, the pools and jacuzzis were full on sea days. For our family we had a great time and I met some very nice students from Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. The ship was very clean and the staff attentive and courteous. I compliment the crew for its hard work. I will return to cruise. Read Less

the room was nice, the islands were beautiful the staff was pleasant, but the food on the buffet was one step above prison food. The steak house was good, The Italian restaurant was a hit or miss one day good the next horrible. The buffet was always in need of cleaning, and the staff ignored it. So food was always on the counters and floors, not very appealing. and we were nickeled and dimed everywhere we turned. We had a son hop and I word a hot pink poodle skirt with a matching shirt scarf socks and saddle shoes, we had a photo taken and without telling us the photographer took one in black and white. Then could not understand why we were upset with it. Other than that the cruise was with a singing group so there was always something to do , with 4 private concerts for those who booked with them. Not enough chairs near the pool, but plenty of pool room. The promenade was awesome with a circus parade the last day. All in all the cruise was a success because of the singing group we booked with. We have already booked the next cruise with them. It is not with Royal. Read Less

It's my first time boarding Navigator of the Seas with my parents and siblings. I would say our overall experience was incredible. I am usually not a fan of spending my vacation on the sea but this one had been an awesome experience. I will rate my experience in detail: Ship: 4.5/5 The ship is so big and there were so many places in the ship where you can find yourself entertained or relax and have a quiet time. It's well equipped and all decks were maintained clean. As far as the decorations, I am beyond impressed (you will really feel you are in a cruise ship, which was great). Cabin: 5/5 I don't really mind having a studio sized stateroom as long as it is well maintained and clean. I mean sheets, linens, and bath towels were changed in a timely manner. Our stateroom attendant Basille (or Basil) - our stateroom was Deck 8, room 8653 - was excellent and very attentive. He was very thorough with his job and made sure that everything was perfect. As for our bathroom, there were so many spaces where I can put my toiletries and personal items. Closet was big enough to keep our clothing (there were 3 of us in the room) tidy. Lighting were excellent, just what I needed in a room. Room temperature was perfect. TV was okay (I have watched shows that I liked, but most of the time I am not really in my room so that's okay) Dining: 4.5/5 VERY EXCELLENT!!! > Windjammer: OMG, lots of food choices although I felt that breakfast was kind of repeated every day. Food was still delicious and hot (for hot foods). I just hope there were more options for fruit juices. Rate: 4/5 > Café Promenade: Best place for snacking 24 hours (well the only place that is open for 24 hours). Their pizza were delicious and freshly made. Service was very fast and they usually let you know how long it will take for the food to be ready. Again, I just wished there were more options for fruit juices. Rate: 4.5/5 > Sapphire Dining: THE BEST PLACE/SERVICE WE'VE EVER GOT. Our waiter Jackson and waiter's assistant Luciana were the best. They provided us excellent food service and great enthusiasm. They have great personality, were very cheerful, and were pretty much COOL! The manager along with Jackson and Luciana welcomed us with a huge smile on their faces. They also made sure that our experience was excellent with great satisfaction. Food was definitely delicious. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR TIME HERE! Also, we got extra food since the manager prepared specialty food plus extra desserts on our second night at this dining room. THANK YOU SOO MUCH! You are 5/5 or 10/10 :) Entertainment/Activities: 5/5 There were so many activities to choose from (i.e. games, shows, fitness exercises, sports tournament, rock climbing, etc). Some of the things I wanted to do were scheduled at the same time so I had to choose which ones I would enjoy the most. However, those activities you were not able to do on the other day, they were offered in different days as well so you have the option to do them. Live music, dancing, parades, movies, shows were excellent (can't complain about it). Overall great experience. Service: I have mentioned earlier that we received excellent service so that's a 5/5 Ports and Shore excursions: I LOVE THEM ALL! Rating 5/5 in Costa Maya (Chacchoben and beach tour) with Israel (sales - excellent and he accommodated us well, customer service was excellent, and very friendly), Joel (our tour guide - very informative and I learned so much from him; he's great), and Guillermo (tour driver - very good, made sure our trip was smooth and on timely manner). Rating 4/5 in Cozumel for Snorkelling (I think I'm not a fun of snorkelling for long periods of time especially the waves were strong, but experience was still good). I would recommend Navigator of the Seas for family, friends, or couples cruise experience. It's worth it! Read Less

It is nice to be on a cruise with beautiful facilities and accommodation, but it's the best experience and heartwarming when you have people on board who treat you like family. We treasure the experiences we had with Royal Caribbean International cruises (so far with Empress of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas). Our family did not just enjoy our wonderful experience with the our latest cruise with the Navigator of the Seas, but also the very good relationship that we have found with crew members to mention Jackson, Luciana, Mary Joy and the other male supervisor (sorry to forget his name but he is a very great person), all of them of the Sapphire Dining Lounge, are so awesome! Everyone were so professional, respectful and friendly. Our room attendants were all so great (we stayed at rooms 8653, 6259 and 6261), Jane and Chris of the Windjammer were so great too. Also Emely, who facilitated activities at Bolero and Schooner was so kind and fun. The entertainments at the theater were so fantastic. We also met Eileen at the Promenade cafe who is so kind. Dave Sibongo, the ship pianist, made us sing with by heart.Washy Washy, we love him. Of course, Cuddy, the ship director! He's so caring. Overall, it was so great! We took this cruise as part of an organised group singing event. We've never really been tempted by taking a Cruise with Royal Caribbean but this provided a perfect oportunity to sample the service offered by this cruise line. Embarkation was very swift and smooth. Once check in was complete there was only a matter of 10 minutes or so waiting time before boarding. Access to our cabin was delayed a short while but this allowed time to go to the Windjammer to sample our first dining experience. One does have to allow for the fact pretty much everyone converges on this dining area on embarkation so we were expecting it to be busy but nonetheless found a table fairly swiftly. We were however disappointed by the range of food available. The salad in particular only really offered your very basic core ingredients (lettuce, tomato cucumber etc) and the bread seemed to be the leftovers from the last cruise - quite stale. About half way into our dining experience we got chatting to some fellow cruisers only to be met by a very loud check 123 and very loud music over the PA system. Not sure if it was simply patched through to the wrong area but it was very annoying for those trying to have a conversation. This was the 1st experience of dining on the ship and sadly it didn't get much better for the rest of the cruise. The group package we were on pretty much kept us to the main dining room. Our allocation was the early dining at 17:30 which seemed extraordinarily early! Service was ok there. We had specific dietary requirements for my wife which caused a little confusion to start with. We had informed RCCL of this several months beforehand and responding email had advised us to check in with the Restaurant Manager on the 1st day. Initially this guy was nowhere to be found and it took a fair amount of time to work with our waitress to get this sorted. Once it had been I have to say the Chef and staff worked very well to accommodate our needs. Overall the quality of the food in the main restaurant was ok but nothing special. our biggest gripe with the other areas and the most disappointing aspect of the whole cruise was the lack of food options later on in the evening. Such an early sitting means inevitably you are pretty peckish after early evening activities and a need to top up with some hot snacks. This has never been an issue on the previous 3 cruise lines we have been on but RCCL fell way way below our expectations with all dining areas closing after 21:00!! Incredibly the only options are cold sandwiches or rather unsightly looking pizza in the Pavillion Cafe or very limited room service at for a very high service charge (plus delivery and tax!) You can imagine the queues late at night at the Pavillion with this being pretty much the remaining option for any kind of complimentary food. To make matters worse you have to queue once for the food and again for drinks in this venue not helped by the fact there is only 1-2 very slow members of staff at each station non of which appear to have any charisma which brings me swiftly onto our next disappointment. The service in general is there if you ask for it but I have to say there is no real feeling of cruise staff actually wanting to make an effort to provide a service and be friendly in the process. - Quite surprising considering it's a ship full of Americans who thrive on over-enthusiastic customer service in almost any environment. Hardly any of the dining staff appeared to have a smile. The Pavillion Cafe staff in particular seemed generally miserable. We do wonder though if this is simply down to failure in training from RCCL rather than the personal character of the staff. The exception in all this was the amazing "washy washy" guy as you enter the Windjammer. He somehow managed to turn the most mundane job of ensuring you clean hands before entering into a party atmosphere! always smiling, always dancing this guy was awesome and should be promoted up to the ship's entertainment staff. We also noticed a lack of presence of senior officers and staff. We must have seen the Captain once and I can't recall seeing any other officers which is highly unusual. The Ship's main entertainment Director also seemed very allusive. Something else we are just not used to. We only saw him being the MC for the major shows and that was about it. No announcements, no getting involved with demonstrations and chats - nothing. Our last comment on staff finally comes to the main guest service desk who were quite simply arrogant and rude. Twice they gave us incorrect information and all the time were simply miserable. Finally our last gripe comes to the organisation the excursions. Overall the choice of excursions is second to none. There is something for everyone on this cruise be it lazy days on the beach, action adventure, exploration or historical visits. There are also in our opinion very reasonably priced. We were glad we waited to book on the ship rather than pre booking and took advantage of a flash sale following a presentation on the second day and all tours seemed to be available on a full ship which was great! Sadly the organisation when you disembark leaves little to be desired. for some bizarre reason multiple tours are allocated the same tour sticker and number meaning anyone trying follow people in your party gets very confusing. The second day of excursions got even more confusing as there was no allocation of stickers and no meeting in the Theatre meaning you had to fend for yourselves ashore to find the right tour. Disembarkation times were incorrect (cue the confusion at the miserable guest services) meaning a lot of confused passengers at the gangway. Overall I think in general this is not the cruise line for us. We're glad to have had the experience of trying out RCCL but it's not one we would choose in future. Read Less

Very little to say about embarcation, it was quick and efficient! 20 minutes from curb to ship. The ship itself was clean and well maintained, except for worn carpets in a few high traffic areas. Public restrooms were clean and used eating/drinking items in the Windjammer and other public areas like the pools deck were picked up very quickly. My cabin was a deck 6 inside, I was a little concerned as it had a connecting door but it ended up being extremely quiet. It was a very standard inside, comfortable, clean and what I'd expect from RCCL. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss. Piano bar was fine as were the various location bands (pool deck, Royal Promenade...), theatre shows with the RCCL band and dancers were quite good. Other shows in the theatre were a bit less impressive (your mileage may vary of course). Service was amazing everywhere. Bars were rapid, roaming beverage servers quick and efficient, dining room and Windjammer staff were perfect. Cabin steward was amazing! Dining was the only aspect of this cruise I was less than impressed with. This was my 5th RCCL ship and the first time I was disappointed with the food on one of their ships. It was simply not up to scratch with the other Royal ships I've been on. Windjammer quality was ok but selection was lacking. Main dining room food on the other hand was not up to the level of quality I've come to expect from RCCL. Overcooked meat, dry fish, cold food... almost every meal someone at my table had to send back their plate. Ports were all great, I'd visited them all before so I knew what to expect. Labadie was a great beach day, and the ABC islands remain a diving and snorkeling paradise. I also booked the PADI Open Water certification course on board and loved it. Ulises the ship's Divemaster/Instructor was absolutely amazing and did an awesome job working with us to complete our certification thru instruction and pool dives as well as open water dives in Aruba and Curacao. This was our annual Apparel Decorators Cruise (10th). It was a great cruise. We (group of 29) had access to a great conference room for our classes each day. The only problem was the internet. I paid a lot of money for "the fastest internet on the sea" or some such crap. The service was lousy. It kept logging me off, it was EXTREMELY slow, and it was a lengthy process to log back on each time. I had purchased the package because I intended to continue running our business from the ship. We didn't get to stop at Labadee due to weather, and I don't think we were properly compensated for missing that. I did really enjoy the food, both in the dining room, and the buffet area. We also felt the quality of the entertainment was lacking. It was rather amateurish. We did enjoy the comedians. Thank you. Read Less

We were on the Fuccillo Kia “Cruise for Huge” promotional cruise. There were mom, son & daughter-in-law on the trip. Two ports of call, Belize and Cozumel. We went on one excursion in each port. On Belize we took the Wallace River boat tour to the Altun Ha ruins. The ruins were awesome and took you back in time. Wednesday we went on a catamaran to snorkel and swim at the beach. The water in the Caribbean is fabulous. The color is so blue and clear. We had a great time. Guides were very knowledgeable. Food, stateroom, service, shopping, entertainment on the ship and excursions were wonderful and top of the line! The 5 days flew by. The entertainers were exceptional. The cruise line has the “people mover” down to a science. Embarking, luggage handling, food service, attendants. All were excellent. This is my third RC Cruise. We became with friends with many passengers. Read Less

This was a company plan trip. One of the stop we was Belize, and Belize my last visit was 15 years ago so say things has change is a understatement.... the port at Belize is small and you only have a small shopping area to shop at. If you try to walk outside of the shopping area the security guard will stop you and advice you not to go into the area because it is not safe for tourist. So you are very limited on where you can shop at or areas you can visit. Now the ship the Navigator of the Seas. The ship was super, and was very clean. The staff at all areas was great and gave you all the time you may need in helping you or getting something for you. The food was some of the best we had on a cruise in a long time. Everything cook the way you like it and the taste was the best. Will sail again on this ship. Read Less

Went on the navigator nov 24 to dec 03rd had read alot of bad reviews for this ship but management appears to have listened and made improvements. The ship itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. All the crew on board were friendly and geared towards you having a good experience. Hats off to cuddy the cruise director who was always present and so funny. The main headliner shows could use some improvement but were good all the other shows were fantastic. Ice skating show is a must see. We were a group of 17 women from canada and all had a great time. Our waiters at tables 407 and 408 radmir, ranjit hemanshu and luyao were exceptional and made our dining experience very pleasant. Radmir went over and beyond in paticular for 1 guest who is gluten and lactosse free. Overall would definitely sail again on this ship. Lots of activities and good pours throughout all the bars. If you want to eat after 10 in the evening and want more then a roll or a burnt pizza. Entertainment was a joke the cruise director needs replacing. Example colouring by numbers as an afternoon entertainment. The cruise seemed to concentrate on people who were returning customers rather then new. Formal nights were a joke, you got dressed up to walk into the dining room for your evening meal which you had done the night before. no captain, no entertainment, nothing special at all. did not bother after the 1st one. If you Smoke you are normally allowed to smoke in casino. Not on this ship on formal days all day, weather was bad so could not go up on deck and had to use cigar room which had such poor extractors and stunk, In the casino ashtray was a floor standing one which staff emptied out the ashtrays from the slot machines into and never got emptied all day. Everyone i spoke to and me included had charges for services not used added to bills. AFter 8 days at sea managed to get 3 hours in Boston. Management of Immigration was a joke we should have been first a 6.30 with people on excursions ( instead approx 1500 in gue, emigration delayed .with people queuing for 3 or more hours, will not go on but all i will say is i saw people crying with boredom, This cruise turned into a prison sentence. so will i use again never twice crew members maimed to music on the bridge on the promenade and that was about as lively as it got. For this years' family friends group holiday we decided to go for a cruise - and it was one the best decisions. It is very convenient holiday and yet full of everything. It starts with parking your car and ship attendants are already at the car park to pick up your luggage. Once checked in, and on-board, it felt like completely different world. We even joked among our friends that this is the ideal society everybody should be dreaming of - just show you sail card and you get everything you need! It was the magic of the premium package sticker on the card - all you drinks were free - wow. Just walking in to the Sapphire dining room felt great and we are dining there everyday. Windjammer is a great place to eat with lot of varieties of food. It was so good and popular that often you won't find table to sit down!" There were so many activities and entertainment events going on - there was not sufficient time for all of them. Jogging on track on Deck 12 was unique experience. Overall it was a very good trip. I booked 2 rooms one for us and another couple friend. This was their 1st time on a cruise so they loved it however it was our 5th but 1st time with Royal C. I found ship very small compare to others and very crowded on a sea day. Always struggling to find space to sit near the bar area when there is nothing else going on. Also hard work finding seats up in the Windjammer at anytime. Food in the dinning hall was very poor quality and tasteless though the head person who was looking after our table was trying his best but the chef's compare to WindJammers were not good with our requests and 3 of us were vegetarians. Finally we decided to just eat in Windjammer. Also they closed at 9pm which was too early as lots of people use to get there after the 1 show and people who want to see the 2 show were also trying to eat there as it would close before the 2nd show finished. Some waiters were friendly and others not, as they struggled with speaking English. Our room was on the 9th floor 9660 which was right opposite the stairs for service and so bringing luggage or taking luggage or any other time we use to hear lots of noises at odd hours. Entertainment was good but then other cruise liners were also good. We had all inclusive drinks package so that was good but even then from 4th day they did not have mint or sometimes lemon or certain beers and asked us to go to another bar which kept our choice. Oh and on the 10th day we found out from another passenger that we could order special request food at Windjammer which was really nice but this should have been told by the dinning hall people from the 1st day when they knew 3 out of 4 in our party were vegetarian. Immigration for St Petersburg was very long and took forever. We left our ship at 11.30 since we were queuing from 8.30am !! But it was worth it and our guide was very good English speaking and recovered the lost time and finished late. I would go on this cruise again only if there is a very good deal otherwise if I had to pay the same money then I would go on other cruise liner. Read Less

I like the Voyager class of ships, so I enjoyed the Navigator. But cuts backs are obvious in food, entertainment and activities. Enjoyed the days at sea just wish there had been more to do. I really miss the professional crafters. The crafts provided by Royal Caribbean are the same old things that they have been doing for years. I don't think that the kits are worth the price. The quality of service on the Navigator was excellent. The crew was very friendly. Enjoyed the Diamond lounge and happy hours. The bar tenders were very attentive and hard working. The dining room staff were very good and even supplied the table with Indian food to share upon request. Had a problem with the excursion desk but all was resolved by the Assistant Manager. I enjoyed all of the ports except Ponta Delgada. There is not much to do there once you have done all the excursions that you are interested in. I have been there too many times. Other ports in the area are more interesting and wish this one would be dropped by Royal Caribbean. I did walk through town and visited the market. I used the time in port to do my gift shopping. As a solo traveler I appreciated the fact that we met for lunch on all the sea days. In the past we did not meet on all the sea days. I wish our crew member who escorted us had stayed for lunch. In the past when they stayed lunch was more interesting because we got an insight into the crew's life on the ship. I am loyal to Royal Caribbean and will continue to sail with them. Less Read Less

Friends were going on an organized cruise for an activity that we enjoyed and wanted to be with them but we had had a bad experience with another cruise line and were reluctant to book passage. We are so glad we did because our enjoyment on this cruise was a definite 10! Food was excellent in preparation and diversity both in the dining hall and cafes. In the dining room service was top notch and the menu had choices to satisfy everyone. I especially liked the fact that we could order favorites daily or have the selections of the day. In the Windjammer it was a treat to have eggs made to order and a wide selection from pancakes and waffles to salmon with capers. The ship provided areas for sunning, deck activities or simply a quite place to read. I made Sushi while on board! Wow! This cruise line is doing all the things right to make you feel like royalty! Room was always clean and neat every time we walk out of it. The food was very good. A decent variety of food each day but if you like any particular items they would do there best to accommodate your requests. The main dining room service was extremely nice. Both our head waiter and assistant waiter were the best we have ever had. Always helpful and quick. I do feel the quality of the food has gone down from past cruises but that could be so that some guests will opt for the fine dining that cost more money. Read Less

I joined a group organized by a blogger who focuses on Royal Caribbean and had a great time meeting the 80 or so people who joined. We sailed from Port Miami on February 17 on a 9 night itinerary. Embarkation was pretty smooth, but being a lowly Gold in the Crown and Anchor Society did not yield any benefits over non-members. Our line for check-in a little after 10 am was the longest. It took about 25 minutes from curb to boarding. The 9 night itinerary was a perfect duration with the right number of sea days and the right number of port days. The first port was Labadee, Haiti. We pre-booked the Dragons Breath zip line, and knocked that off our bucket list. It was a complete blast despite the $98 cost. I would have done it immediately afterward for another $50 if it was offered. The rest of the day involved swimming and drinking Labadoozies. Labadee was followed by a Sea Day as we headed toward Willemstad, Curacao. We toured the Chobolobo distillery, ate at Gouverneur de Rouville restaurant across from the Punda area of Willemstad which I highly recommend. The beer and the meal were delicious and memorable, and the service was wonderful. The next port was Oranjestad, Aruba. We joined our group for a fun tour of the island with Kuku Kanookoo and ended with a couple of hours on the beach at a day resort. The tour was goofy fun, but the day resort portion was over crowded and over priced for food and alcohol. I will choose something else next time I am on the island. I would probably do one of the ATV tours I saw. The final port was Krallendijk, Bonaire. The is a small population on the island, so the offerings are few, but high quality. The snorkeling on Klein Bonaire was the best I have done. I really, really liked this island. The cruise drew to a close with two sea days back to Miami. I have to say that this is easily my favorite itinerary so far. Read Less
