If you want to eat after 10 in the evening and want more then a roll or a burnt pizza. Entertainment was a joke the cruise director needs replacing. Example colouring by numbers as an afternoon entertainment. The cruise seemed to concentrate on people who were returning customers rather then new. Formal nights were a joke, you got dressed up to walk into the dining room for your evening meal ...

Not much to do at sea

I like the Voyager class of ships, so I enjoyed the Navigator. But cuts backs are obvious in food, entertainment and activities. Enjoyed the days at sea just wish there had been more to do. I really miss the professional crafters. The crafts provided by Royal Caribbean are the same old things that they have been doing for years. I don't think that the kits are worth the price. The ...

Enjoyable Cruise

My only small complaints are that there weren't enough variety of games or cards in the game room. And, the special lobster meal for $29.95 was horrible. The free lobster night was 100% better. Loved the duplicate bridge in the afternoon. Was a bit too cold to lay out by the pool. The ports were nice - different than normal repositioning ports. I would have preferred more fun activities ...

14 Days is a LONG Time....

Keep in mind that this is just my second cruise and I am not exactly a "cruise person." The idea of taking multiple cruises every year makes no sense to me at all. Anyway, we signed up for this "repositioning cruise" because the initial price was low and because the idea of crossing the Atlantic seemed like a good one. Sailing-wise, things started out fine, but the last three or so days at sea out ...

Mediocre at best

Food and service were average with a few over cooked deserts and the same old fayre. The curries in the Windjammer were generally very good and authentic. Entertainment was the worst we've ever seen. RC are now resorting to using their non professional staff to provide some of the evening entertainment. The ships professional performer shows lacked impact and the singers had poor vocal ...

DISAPPOINTING TRANSATLANTIC CRUISE

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

We hadn't been on a transatlantic cruise before though we have sailed on many other cruises and companies. The weather was not at all kind which no-one could foresee. However we feel that because of this and the 6 days at sea before touching land the entertainment during the day was sorely lacking. Too many sales pitches and quizzes. Movies are only shown outside at the pool at 7 and 10 pm - ...

Excellent port visits and crossing. RCI head down hill.

RCI was tops in our cruise choices due to our prior experience. Now , it is below Holland and Princess. The reasons are the multitude changes that must be caused by the bean counters. Everything on the ship is offered at a price, the Advertisements commence from boarding to departure; in the dining room of all places and everywhere. The announcements are advertisements. There is no longer little ...

Trans Atlantic...enjoy the journey...

Over all the transatlantic cruise was great fun. I do enjoy the "at sea days". I felt the crew was "at a loss" at what to do with this many people on board for so many days. I thought the "meet and mingle" event was a joke...why did they even bother? So many people....cheap door prize drawings, nothing special, why should we attend this? Agree with several of the other comments...Royal ...

Embarkation in Miami was long and tedious, maneuvering the sea of people trying to get on board. My mother could not get her wheelchair as requested. There was a LONG line of people waiting, very few wheelchair attendants and no place to sit curbside to wait at the Port of Miami...........major faux pas. Disembarkation in Southampton was timely, easy and orderly. Wheelchair was ready and the ...

Cruise not up to our expectations.

Upon embarkation at check-in it was very slow .The Rep we had at check-in seemed totally bored with her job & was not helpful when we asked questions. Once in our stateroom we had long delay waiting for luggage delivered. The service on board, mainly in the Sapphire Restaurant was very inconsistent, we had My Time dining and each time we experienced either good or bad service. Even Guest ...
