I have tried a couple other cruises, but NO ONE comes close to the people that work for Royal Caribbean.. The ships are very well maintained, The foods is over the top, and the choices are never ending, I enjoy just being on the ship because of all the actives that are offered, if you like shows there is something for everyone, comedy game shows and more. The shore excursions are great and not a bad price, if you are on a budget there are still things to see and do on and off the ship, if you have children there is a game room for them when you are at sea and the crew will interact with the children as well, We have cruised with family and friends aging from teens to 75 year olds and everyone had something to do at all times. If you are traveling alone it is a great place to meet new people and make new friends, since we really started cruising 10 years ago we have met the GREATEST people and have made some life long friends that we still travel with and keep in contact with.. Happy Cruising and I hope we run into you on our next cruise.. Read Less

This 9 night voyage on the Navigator of the Seas was a spring break vacation for the whole family. We sailed on her back in 2011 for our first Thanksgiving at sea (have not stopped since, will be on the Freedom this year for our 6th turkey day cruise). Our experience on her this time was just as good and even better than 6 years ago. We are junkies of the Flowrider and it was added to the ship in 2014. Now the whole family is hooked!!! Anyway here are the main topics people want to read about: Embarkation= Very smooth process! Check in representative was very nice, fast, courteous and made us feel very welcomed. Stateroom was ready at 1:30 as promised. We had Junior Suite stateroom 9270. Ship info= In our opinion, the Navigator is probably the best ship in the voyager class. It was one of the two in that class that had the modern, open balconies, compared to the more enclosed ones that you might find on the Explorer, Voyager, and Adventure of the Seas. The ship has also gone under multiple major renovations in its lifetime, the most recent one taking place in 2014, where multiple favorites were added to the ship such as the flowrider, Giovanni's Table, and Sabor Modern Mexican. In essence, the Navigator is what I might call a "mini Freedom class" style of ship. Stateroom= For this voyage, we were in a Junior Suite (room 9270). Traveling as a family of four this enabled us to have more room on a longer cruise. The room itself was huge and there was plenty of space for people to walk around and not feel cramped. The room even had a full size walk in closet, that had enough storage space for the whole family. The bathroom was also amazing, as it was larger compared to one from an ocean view balcony and it had a large tub. Also thanks to the extra width of the room, there was plenty of walking space even when the pull out couch was fully extended. The balcony had room for one lounge chair, two chairs and a table that the four of us could fit around. Everything in the suite was in working order, clean and sufficient. Pool/Deck Area= This is an area that the Voyager Class ships shine!!! Even on the four seas days lounge chairs were abundant. Yes, you may not get one pool side but who wants to be around that rat race. We have been on different cruise lines that have ships similar in size to the Navigator with far less deck space. The Navi design on the top decks gives you plenty of options where you want to hang out. Ports= We hit the "ABC" islands and Labadee. I will give my "review writing time" to Bonaire. She is an island that has not lost it Caribbean charm or feel. We did not book any excursion so we just walked off the pier and explored. We felt very safe. Ok I lied, Aruba reminded me of Marco Island on the west coast of Florida and Curacao was ok . Dining=We visited the MDR, Windjammer Café, Café Promenade, Chops, Giovanni's Table and Sabor. MDR=We were pleasantly surprised to see new items on the menu. Not only were they a welcomed change but all the food was good and served hot. Our servers Nikhil and Gusti were top notch. Windjammer Café= All the standard food stations that you expect with good food temperature and service. All Specialty Restaurants= Excellent. We did mentioned to our self that next time we go to Giovanni's we will just pick a couple of appetizers and one additional item like pasta or entrées. Way to much food if you pick from each course. Entertainment=To be very honest, we only went to the Magic show which was good. Navigator did not have any Broadway shows. The wife and daughter went to the ice show and said it was awesome. Disembarkation - No issues at all! Overall summary= It was a great cruise and I would go on her again in a heartbeat. Read Less
