Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

The ship was very clean. The grand suite was very roomy. The service staff was great. The entertainment was ok. Dinner in the main dining room was good. Had to pay extra to eat at the other restaurants on the ship. The drink package cost was to expensive. I traveled with 7 other adults and we were bored. We seen a couple shows but the activities on the boat was not all that great. The ...

Bed Bug Infestation

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

I'm giving this cruise 2 stars solely because the staff was very friendly, the excursions were exciting, and we had an enjoyable time overall. However, on my final night, I finally realized the many many bug bites I had were not from mosquitoes or from being outside – our room had bed bugs. As you can imagine, this was deeply troubling, as I had expected a certain level of cleanliness and ...

We went with 4 other couples and we were all disappointed with the main dining room food selection .the wait staff was very good however, they never had on their floor cheese for spaghetti or cream for the coffee or tea.they had to search around for it which took time and our food was getting cold by the time they came back to our table . Also our cabin was'nt always vacuumed. Items would still ...

Total disappointment

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Have been on several cruises, this one was the worst. Not sure if it was because it was a charted trip or not, but the staff was unfriendly for the most part. Definitely not the upbeat, sociable staff I have found on other cruises. Food and entertainment were average but nothing outstanding. Staff was not willing to try to accommodate guests. Again not sure if it was because it was the Cruise with ...

THIS is Royal Caribbean?

This was my first trip with Royal Caribbean, after more than a dozen cruises with Cunard, Carnival and NCL. I didn't have unreal high expectations however, after this experience, I wonder why is it that RCI is considered a higher standard in cruising? My first negative impression came from staff members, whom I suspect are underpaid and in less than decent conditions on the boat (they can't ...

If you are injured on a cruise ship beware

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

cabin 6298 is opposite a main cleaning storage cupboard where all the room attendants congregate. It is extremely noisy here from early in the morning and in the afternoon. I wouldn't recommend this room. The room was clean and well maintained. The food in the main dining room for breakfast was chaos queues out the door waiting for a seat every morning for a good 15 mins. Then table staff ...

Navigator needs a refresh and so does the crew!

We had previously cruised on the Navigator in 2016 and enjoyed it (13 Nights), despite the ship looking a little jaded in places, but the shows and the itinerary made up for the condition of the ship. However in 2017 the ship looks a little rougher, but the shows are identical and the staff are just not interested in being polite and happy. The itinerary had been cut by 3 port days, which meant ...

Drop in standards, dissappointed!

We were looking to return to Royal Caribean for a much needed holiday. Having previously had a wonderful experience with Royal Caribean over 16 years, we were very dissapointed to join the Navagator of the Seas and find a ship so tired in many areas and in need of major investment. The presentation and quality of the food in the dining room also had a great deal of room for improvement. Our ...

Cruised about 20 times - 4 or five with Royal C. Check in very quick and onboard by 11.15 Cabin not cleaned properly for the 2 weeks - never hoovered ( same bits on the floor when we arrived, were still there when we left. Shower had hairs from previous customers... Windjammer awful as not enough staff(maybe due to cuts?) so tables not cleared away quickly enough so you had to sit at ...
