We (a group of 31) chose this ship because of the "new water slide and water coaster." The ship was to be refurbished and greater than ever. The first original sailing on February 24th was canceled and RC should have canceled the next couple cruises. Only one water slide was open part of the time, the other leaked to the floors below. RC failed to check the air conditioning units on the ship while it was ported...it was extremely hot in the rooms, in the dinning areas, in the casino, in all areas. only 1/3 of the elevators worked and a few of the public restrooms were either closed or had water problems. The new cabanas on deck 12 were nice but the light fixtures in them were not secure, one fell on some of our group members and thankfully they didn't get hurt too badly. The next day, RC removed all of the light fixtures from the cabanas. The fitness centered was located on the deck...the room was not ready for equipment so they had a few things on the deck. We didn't have children with us but the children's areas did not open until March 6. The casino was so jam packed with chairs in both the table and slots areas that the folks using chairs could not possibly get through. The staff was very friendly as usual. Some of them were obviously just starting to work together, some of the tables took a very long time to get their dinners which were not what the people ordered. I found this to be very unusual since the dining staff is typically on top of things. It was so hot in the dining area that it was almost unbearable. I felt as if we were being forced to go dine at one of the pay restaurants... I was very disappointed that Royal Caribbean made the decision to set sail when it was obviously not ready. I would have rather rescheduled it. Read Less

A big reason we usually choose RC is because of our Diamond status (those who pay for suites also enjoy.) However it’s became apparent RC is no longer valuing the loyalty this brings them. The Diamond lounge is usually a place where you get the added benefits of a quiet place to get a contintental breakfast and happy hour with free drinks at night. However, it feels like this is a bother to the staff. The first thing that happened is they sent notification to our room that happy hour was from 4:30-8pm. When we arrived at 4:30, they told us that it doesn’t begin until 5pm. Even showing the paper we received, we were told it was wrong. Then when we asked for a drink at 8pm before leaving, we were told last drink was at 7:55. At breakfast, they only had a carton of milk by the coffee. We asked for something non-dairy (due to allergy) and were practically yelled at that there was “only milk!” When we then asked the concierge if maybe tomorrow a non-dairy could be provided, she replied very snootily “I’m sorry you were inconvenienced. I’ll see what we can do.” Also, we used to always be issued robes to use in our staterooms, but our cabin steward told us that is no longer a service. I didn’t bring a robe because of this and now it makes getting ready difficult. I asked for a couple of extra towels, and he agreed but looked very pained, which means he probably gets flack from management. I will tip him very well to compensate, but I feel bad. At the pool, you are only allowed 2 towels per person. Period. No exceptions. So there’s no way to have 1 towel cover your chair, one for a pillow and one to dry off. I realize it is a luxury to do this, but I’m on vacation! I feel like I’m at a very low end hotel. These are pretty simple things but apparently the staff is overworked and not getting support from management to make guests happy. Honestly, save $100 and just take a Carnival Cruise because this is what RC is catering to.Ill definitely be sharing this with our travel agent to warn others as well. Read Less

1st cruise booked as a special occasion for our 25th anniversary. Travelled with 2 children 11 and13 years. Cruise was overcrowded with queues for everything. Activities over subscribed. Staff looked exhausted and harassed and couldn’t cope with numbers on board. Communal areas dirty. Food in main restaurant was hit and miss and sent food back on several occasions, but because service was so slow gave up and ate sandwiches and pizza in cafe. Buffet area was completely overwhelmed every morning, and struggled to find a table. Tried signature restaurants chops grille was excellent. Jonny rockets served stale buns after a 45 minute wait. Complained and left- still waiting for an apology from RC. The shore excursions we enquired about were sold out, so just made own arrangements and saved over 50% for better quality trips. Overall this was a very disappointing experience and I will not be booking another cruise. Read Less

We chose this cruise because of the amazing destinations. Traveling through the Baltic, stopping in Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Finland and finishing up in St.Petersburg in Russia. The destinations did not disappoint...but the food and entertainment were abysmal. The ice show was spectacular...but if all went downhill from there. It was similar to a 70’s holiday camp type entertainment with British themes almost every night...think Butlins....not what you’d associate with international entertainment. Quizzes about British tv programmes...one night the entire main promenade was decked with Union Jack flags and the English national anthem blasted out....then came the entertainment staff similarly decked out in Union Jack clothes singing...it’s nice to be proud of your nationality....but on a Baltic cruise to St. Petersburg amid people from ALL different nationalities it was quite odd and inappropriate. We hadn’t booked a British knees-up for a holiday....or so we thought! The first day I got a hair in my food in the main dining room...they replaced the food quickly but it was very off putting. The windjammer had chips, a new type of meat pie every day, burgers, hot dogs, curry and rice and one roast meat option every day...same all cruise. Pie and chips...again, not what we thought we had booked a cruise for. Our cabin was grubby and had a little hole in the wall through to the next door cabin. We stuffed it with tissue paper. The whole ship could do with an upgrade with regards to decor. Disappointing all in all. The destinations were beautiful but what a shame about the time-deaf entertainment choices and uncreative food offerings. On a positive note, the shore excursions in St. Petersburg were brilliant...and the staff onshore on our way to the ship were great....super helpful. Would recommend the destinations...but maybe think twice about this ship. Didn’t have ONE complaint about the Brilliance of the seas last year...but the Navigator was very different...and not in a good way. Read Less

Food and Shows are getting worse over time... Don’t do this cruise if you have kids. I would spend the extra money and go Disney. The shows were dated and there were several days with comedians which were boring... Excursions were not worth the price payed. Everything is very rushed as some ports have 6 hrs before you have to back on the boat and driving to the loacation takes about an hour. While on the boat, despite confirmation that my child who turned three ball on the cruise would be able to go to the Kids camp was refused admission because their was too many kids and the boat didn’t have enough staff.... they should know this and plan before the ship leaves port!! The room staff is still helpful and kind and do a good job. Overall this cruise is underwilming if you have been on cruises before. It really shows that Royal is putting a lot of energy into the new big boats and has forgotten about the small and medium size boats. Read Less

First time Royal cruise, most likely the last. 8 prior Princess Cruises, going back to Princess. The food was mediocre. Desserts are tasteless and dry. Cafe promenade is the only food venue open after 9:00 pm after events such as theater shows. The cafe has the exact same sandwiches every night, and exact same boring and tasteless desserts each night. It’s a small seating area. The pool area was jammed packed with people being allowed to save every chair by 7 a.m. each day and leaving the chairs “saved” for hours with no one ever coming to sit on many. Numerous passengers complained , although nothing was done by staff. They even have a 30 minute rule that is not adhered to. Staff not friendly and in Windjammer & even dining room staff didn’t clean me around to ask about drinks and we had to ask for coffee in the dining room. Embarkation we got off the elevator and could move no further. Next elevator down, those passengers were stuck in elevator with no where to go. We were jammed up for 45 min. The amazing dinner that i used to have , it is gone. The staff ( with some exceptions) was rude . The main answer was " Sorry , we can not do anything " . Casino machines are old , some of then older than in the worst casinos in Florida. The tour was very poor. The tour guide spent one hour teaching ridiculous words in Spanish and asking for "propina" Tips. Pools completely crowded. Not everything was bad. The cabin was good an the cabin service too. Overpriced for the value. We cruised with 14 family members. We drove down to Miami for the cruise. Parking ramp was very expensive for the five days. Parking ramp had no signage on how to get around, including getting out. Stateroom (verandah) was terrible. Bed was old and rock hard. Language barriers were prevalent with majority of staff, no matter what the setting. Some spoke the equivalent of no English, even though the majority of the guests spoke English. Nickeled and dimed to death. I found myself crying out MOOO!! many times during embarkation and debarkation as I now know how cattle feel. Room service had a significant fee for every and any type of service. Bathroom was falling apart. Our room entrance door would not close automatically (I found it open on numerous occasions), even though it is supposed to close automatically and the verandah door did not lock without learning the way to fidget with it, from our steward. Soap tray in shower fell off the wall twice and appears to have been screwed back on, in different positions, many times. Read Less

So food was always on the counters and floors, not very appealing. and we were nickeled and dimed everywhere we turned. We had a son hop and I word a hot pink poodle skirt with a matching shirt scarf socks and saddle shoes, we had a photo taken and without telling us the photographer took one in black and white. Then could not understand why we were upset with it. Other than that the cruise was with a singing group so there was always something to do , with 4 private concerts for those who booked with them. Not enough chairs near the pool, but plenty of pool room. The promenade was awesome with a circus parade the last day. All in all the cruise was a success because of the singing group we booked with. We have already booked the next cruise with them. It is not with Royal. Read Less

Food was of poor quality. Makes me wonder if it was done on purpose in order to promote the specialty restaurant for an extra cost. The ship needs to be refurbished. There are only 2 electrical outlets in the stateroom which is unacceptable at this day and time. Also, many areas have peeling paint or rust showing through, the beds were extremely hard and the pillows were flat. Ended up sleeping on the sofa. It was more comfortable. Guest Services was a joke. Kept getting different answers about trying to exit the ship for departure and forget the ‘valet’ luggage service. They didn’t get my luggage to the airport, therefore it did not arrive at me final destination. Still don’t have it and now will have to file a claim. I first thought I was being too picky about the food, but when me table mates started to complain, they were ‘emerald’ members, I realized it was not me. Read Less

I wanted to hit the beach and get some sun not pay someone to take me there Im at a port with water everywhere. I'm giving this cruise 2 stars solely because the staff was very friendly, the excursions were exciting, and we had an enjoyable time overall. However, on my final night, I finally realized the many many bug bites I had were not from mosquitoes or from being outside – our room had bed bugs. As you can imagine, this was deeply troubling, as I had expected a certain level of cleanliness and precaution on the part of Royal Caribbean. We were already disappointed when we first arrived and found the sheets both for the bed and the pull-out with several stains, and even when we had the room made up, the same stained sheets were left on. I alerted guest services that I suspected bed bugs, and the man at the desk seemed in no hurry to help and never once apologized for the situation. No one once took ownership of the situation or offered any sort of compensation or solution to our huge inconvenience and frankly disgusting situation. Even as I watched them strip the bed, photograph the bugs, and put everything in plastic bags, no one once thanked me for alerting them to bugs or seemed to think this was an unusual thing. We were moved rooms not for our own safety and comfort but “because they had to clean it before the next passengers came.” We were made to pack our belongings in a hurry and moved to a smaller room with no balcony and no second bed option at 3:30 am – it was understandably the only room available on a full ship, but was not what we had paid for and obviously, not the way we wanted to end our trip. After our experience the last night, a cruise that saved up for and looked forward to for years will now be remembered as the bed bug trip. Not to mention the hassle we had when we got home of disinfecting our clothes, luggage, and precious souvenirs. I am still so uncomfortable and itchy, and disgusted at the thought of having slept there for so long, I feel like crawling out of my own skin. Worst of all, I have e-mailed Royal Caribbean twice and they haven't even had the decency to respond. Their apathy toward this whole experience is crazy to me, and not what I expected from their customer service either. I'm very disappointed with Royal Caribbean, and caution anyone looking to go on a cruise to think twice, and if you do go with Royal Caribbean, check your bed first!! Read Less

This was my first trip with Royal Caribbean, after more than a dozen cruises with Cunard, Carnival and NCL. I didn't have unreal high expectations however, after this experience, I wonder why is it that RCI is considered a higher standard in cruising? My first negative impression came from staff members, whom I suspect are underpaid and in less than decent conditions on the boat (they can't all be moody!). Most of them have questionable attitudes, as if they cannot be bothered. I am not one of those annoying, obnoxious, demanding customers, actually I have compassion and respect for workers, especially since I worked with Cunard myself. Our deluxe balcony cabin lacked bathroom supplies (no tissues, shampoo, or even bags for garbage) and seemed outdated, there was mold in the shower and in the toilet, yucks. Beds were hard and there were no individual controls for lights, which were either blinding or left us in the dark. Internet service package...I might as well not have wasted my money! Was expecting a work contract and needed to have email available, but was unable to refresh, let alone do anything online. Entertainment was mediocre at best, however I didn't expect super talent aboard a boat. What surprised me the most was the very, very poor quality of the food. Windjammer was distracting due to the buffet nature and variety...but their main dining room, Saphire, omg, every dish looked and tasted like a $3 dollar microwave meal. Don't know if I would give RCI another shot, would have to read reviews. For now, as far as big cruise liners, I believe NCL is a much better choice. This was like Carnival, with less desperate feeders and a higher quality crowd, but overly stuffed the same. Did I mention we waited 3 hours for disembarkation? Read Less

cabin 6298 is opposite a main cleaning storage cupboard where all the room attendants congregate. It is extremely noisy here from early in the morning and in the afternoon. I wouldn't recommend this room. The room was clean and well maintained. The food in the main dining room for breakfast was chaos queues out the door waiting for a seat every morning for a good 15 mins. Then table staff moaning about how many people they had served that morning. Service was not good. We gave up after 2 mornings. Main dining room evenings food was hot and good choices. Windjammer was pot luck depending on what you chose whether it was barely warm or very hot. The food was tasty though when it was hot and we never had a problem getting seated. The ports of call were good and the beaches within walking distance were lovely. I was involved in an incident in the casino while playing roulette where the ball flew out of the roulette wheel at great seed and hit me in the face. The pain was excruciating and meant i couldnt enjoy the ship activities or drinks for a few days as it also effected my neck too. Rather and be supportive Royal Caribbean made me feel like a criminal refusing access to any reports either from the ships safety officer or the casino or access to the video. At a meeting in a tiny room i was surrounded by male officers standing over me behind and to the side in front of the exit doors while a male officer sat opposite me being very blunt and intimidating. When i asked if they had ever seen the ball fly out at such speed before he said arrogantly dozens of times! So my point is why are there no signs up warning of this. It was only about 4 inches from my eye. I have played in casinos for years and never seen it happen ever. When they refused to let me see the video i asked if they could tell me if i turned me neck quickly in a reflex action to stop the ball hitting me directly in the face and thats why it caught me right on the jaw line or whether the force of the ball hitting me is what made my head jerk back. They ignored my requests for this info so now i am back i have no idea what to say to any medical people if i need further treatment. I am a loyal cruiser with RCC and a VIP in the casino. I was given no point of contact for Miami nor did any staff call my room to check on me. Beware if you have an incident as it seems you are at fault and not them. Read Less

We had previously cruised on the Navigator in 2016 and enjoyed it (13 Nights), despite the ship looking a little jaded in places, but the shows and the itinerary made up for the condition of the ship. However in 2017 the ship looks a little rougher, but the shows are identical and the staff are just not interested in being polite and happy. The itinerary had been cut by 3 port days, which meant that there was 5 days at sea and 5 days in port, on the 5 days at sea, 2 of them where crossing the Bay of Biscay, so that wasn’t great, but we knew it would be so, however we were not prepared for such a worn out mattress on our bed, which made the crossing harder, due to the mattress being uncomfortable to start with. We asked for it to be changed, only to find it had been "padded" with towels, which made the hot nights unbearable. Overall this cruise had less days, a shorter itinerary, for more money! The bar service was very slow in some areas. Could have been much better. Read Less

We were a group consisting of two families equalling 23 of us. The other family picked the cruise line. We were all disappointed. The motto of Royal Caribbean should be changed to hurry up and wait. For example the Captain makes an announcement that everyone needs to be on board by 530 and if you are not, "make sure to bring a camera to take wonderful pictures of the beautiful Navigator of the Seas leaving you behind". Everyone rushes to be back onetime and you are treated with a huge line to board the ship. The dinning room hours are very short for breakfast and lunch, especially on shore days. The leads to all the guests attempting to eat breakfast at the Windjammer. There are not enough tables for everyone so people are eating staring up like animals. the only other alternative is to order room service which takes an hour unless you ordered the night before and you pay the $8 for the convenience. The destinations were all great but we were rushed at every port. The average stay was 10-530, so by the time you got off the ship and to the city you only had a few hours to see the sites. Read Less

The Wig and Gavel bar, the Two poets bar and the pool bars the crew is so unfriendly and with a constant answer: "NO"....YOU CANT DO THIS, YOU CAN´T DO THAT, NO, NO, NO and a smile from them is almost as asking water to stones. Well, in one time the crew of Two Poets took the luxury of scolding me for a confusion in drinks. The crew of the Promenade Cafe...well...THE MOST TERRIBLE NO FRIENDLY ATTENTION IN ALL THE CRUISE. TERRIBLE!!!. The activities are so forced by the crew: the climbing wall, the surf pool. The Windjammer restaurant (buffet) always with the same poor food and always with the same taste. The attitude of the concierge crew looks like a crew of a funeral agency. The elevators are no sufficient for the number of passengers. We ned to wait at least 5 minutes to enter one. The exception of this bad score is for the bar tender of Connoisseur; Eddie is a GREAT PERSON. Also great crew and food quality of the Sapphire and Giovanni´s restaurant. Those was exceptionals. We paid additional for a balcony that we were unable to use for 4 days as maintenance was taking place. Shore excursions were badly organised and for the most part a complete shambles leaving the ship. Some of the blame for this however lays with some of the guests. I usually feel the product delivered by RCI to be consistent and usually above average.I found one member of staff on this ship who actually smiled and engaged with me. Most members of staff, especially the bar staff, seemed miserable and lacking in any desire to serve. Usually I look forward to dinner in the main dining room but our waitress was so grumpy I felt like I was an inconvenience to her. I appreciate this ship is one of the older vessels and that it does not make financial sense to invest money in it now but there were obvious signs (literally the metropolis theatre sign was missing two letters) that this ship needed some attention. Bad smells, poor air conditioning in our room, wardrobe door hanging off. I am sure you are aware that some of the older ships do not get the investment that the newer ones do and I also see that that is reflected in the price but it felt at times that the basics were missing. I had such a wonderful time on the independence last october and that is also one of the older vessels so I know that it can be achieved. The good time I had on that ship was largely down to the wonderful staff we had ( CD Jamie fentiman and AM katy McCullagh were exceptional) I felt the CD on the navigator cuddy cuddleson and his activities manager mark? were not up to the standard I have experienced before such as the aforementioned jamie fentiman and also joff eaton who is always exceptional. I also had a CD called Mercedes a few years ago and she was wonderful as well. I really could go on and on about all the things on the Navigator that I feel are substandard but I really do not have the time, I love RCI and will continue to cruise with them but I feel I will avoid the older ships as I don't think the effort is put in there. We have sailed Royal Caribbean many times before. But this time was a disappointment. I got bedbug bites! Our room was fairly clean. But I was wondering why the cabin attendant changed our sheets every night, and then, when we put the "Do not disturb" sign out for 2 days, I got bites! Food was good but the service in the dining room was terrible! Service everywhere else was good. Entertainment was slightly boring. Except for Reynaldo, he was pretty cool. He did a Micheal Jackson "Thriller" dance class. Then, since everyone danced it pretty well, we performed it right before one of the game shows-flash mob style. What a BLAST! I didn't think I would enjoy it, (because I had never done anything like that before), but I did. The excursions were great. The Excursions Help Desk were very helpful. Overall, it was an ok cruise. And an "ok" cruise to the southern caribbean is still better than a day at work! Lol Read Less

The Navigator is both elegant and well maintained. But the crew seemed to have lost enthusiasm along with the company´s expansion of the fleet or some other kind of management crisis. Already during boarding expect to be treated like a 2´nd class passenger if you are not a frequent RCCL costumer or travelling in a suite. The main restaurant serves food of a high standard, and service is near perfect. Only other complimentary alternative is the Windjammer cafe which is extremely noisy and serving several hundred guests at the same time. The choise of food in the cafe is poor compared to other Companies, and for some reason you have to stand in line to get coffee from a crew member, while all other food and drink is on self service basis. These places are only open certain hours a day. In the lower deck is a small cafe which is open all day, but far to crowded when other alternatives are closed. Royal Caribbean promises most restaurants to be complimentary, and this i simply not true. You should expect a heavy pressure to try the non-complimentary restaurants from the crew. They addressed us while eating, resting and sunbathing as if we were at a Middle East Bazaar. There are no outside food options at all. Several alternatives exist for outdoor relaxing and bathing in quiet or more active surroundings. Unfortunately the sports programme is limited and frequent last minute cancellations took place during our cruise. Other times the crew member in charge didn´t know the rules of the game or simply ordered the game to be stopped prematurely. There are several offers for nighttime entertainment. The shows in the main theatre shows a steep decline compared to previous cruises with RCCL. But singers and piano players in bars and Casino managed to make for a fine atmosphere. If you are a foreigner be advised that Royal Caribbean insists on setling your account in your own currency (though they ask you to choose during the booking proces) at an exchange rate in their favour. You will benefit from insisting to settle the account in USD while on board, since credit Card Exchange rates are about 3% better. Read Less

Embarkation at Southampton went like a dream and we were on the ship in minutes. We had been on the Navigator five years previously when it sailed around the Med out of Rome so were looking forward to seeing if there were any changes. Unfortunately, there were only bad ones. It seems that Royal Caribbean are now only interested in trying to make you spend as much as possible at every opportunity. We were pestered at breakfast, at lunch and when trying to relax in the bars in the evening (when we could get a seat) with people trying to sell the paying restaurants to us. Thirty seconds out of every port the promenade was constantly filled with extra tables with 'sale' goods, making it difficult to actually get down the promenade, and everyday we were bombarded with leaflets and emails about the next 'big sale'! The shops on board weren't very good, little variety and very expensive, $5.99 for a tube of Pringles! Fortunately, the dining room experience was still as good as ever with very friendly and attentive waiters and good food, with good wine served by an excellent Sommelier. We did notice however that a number of people frequently turned up at dinner sometimes 40 or 50 minutes late which obviously caused problems for the waiters trying to serve dinner on time to those of us who arrived at the allotted time and we were frequently very late getting out of the dining room because of this. Previously the dining room would be closed 15 minutes after the sitting time but this doesn't seem to be the case now, even though there is anytime dining available on the ship. The so called production shows were dismal, and the space taken up by the ice rink could be made better use of as the bars were so crowded it was really difficult to get a seat, mainly due to people sitting sleeping, reading or eating food from the promenade cafe as they couldn't get a seat in there. As the Windjammer now closes in the afternoons - people come back on board hungry and have to queue down the promenade to get something to eat at the cafe, the only place open at that time. Service in Vintages was excellent however the smell of cigarette smoke wafting up from the Casino didn't make it a pleasant place to sit when you did manage to get a seat on an evening. People were allowed to smoke in all areas of the Casino and it would seem on deck too - I didn't see any of the staff stop them. You couldn't even spend a few hours in your cabin watching a movie as they charged $13.99! Obviously, RCI want you out of your cabin so you can spend and if you're going to stay in you're going to pay for that too! Very few of the officers spoke to anyone when they were passing through the ship and the only time we saw the Cruise Director was his 10 second introduction to the stage acts, we never once saw him out and about chatting to people anywhere. It seems like all RCI want to do now is pack 'em in tight and get as much money as possible out of 'em without putting in too much effort - other than at selling! All a bit of a shame really as they used to be so good. We did get a good price on this cruise but to be honest, it really wasn't worth it. We won't be travelling with them again. Read Less

i took a half term break with my three children on Navigator of the Seas,, I really wish I hadnt .This is a very expensive cruise line . Good points : Boarding was quick ,unlike P&O where you sit like sardines in the Ocean terminal like sardines before any security checks hoping that none of the people packed in that terminal have anything ticking in their rucksacks !. the Meat is always very nice , and they bake nice cookies ...... unfortunately ,,, thats about it . This cruise ship is very very expensive , first thing to consider is the dreaded drinks package, one is a soda package at 10 Dollars per day , the second is a non descript non alcoholic cocktail package at around 30 Dollars a day, and the third is the "Ultimate Package" at 58 Dollars a day which covers pretty much everything. Also you must add to these packages an extra 18% Gratuity. I asked Royal Caribbean what exchange rates they were using and was told 1.09 Dollars to the pound ..... ouch !!. when you consider that a glass of Pinot noir costs 12.00 Dollars plus 18% Gratuity ( 14.16 Dollars ) converted to pound notes thats £12.99 per glass of wine !!!!????. WOW ,I was shocked and in my state of confusion and dismay ,,,I signed up for three Ultimate and a one soda package which came to 1044 dollars plus 18% gratuity ( 1,231.92 dollars ) . as you can guess ,, all this within one hour of being on the ship ,, i needed a drink !!. The Gratuity is salt in the wound as there are very few drinks waiters and 98% of the time you go up and order from the bar !!. Drunkeness was a problem for the 6 days we were aboard this ship. When people are paying a lot of money for drinks packages ,, its human nature to make sure you get your moneys worth . We had to move tables in the dining room after the parents from a group of seven got very drunk and caused a big argument and scene at dinner. In 15 years cruising I can honestly say Ive never experienced anything like it , I ended up making a statement to security, and not eating in the dining room for three of the six nights as the people concerned continued to drink to excess !!. This apart , the food was very average , and certainly not what i would consider " cruise food". We were served delights such as mash potato and croquet potatoes which to be honest , i can buy in Iceland at home. Lobster was a 35 dollar surcharge where as on P&O it comes as standard. shuttle buses were extra at ports , i spent 60 Euros on these at two ports Our room steward was a pleasant girl who i saw only about four times , she never introduced herself and i still dont know her name . Our cabin was kept in an ok condition tho a broken glass was still there at the side of my bed when we departed .... three days after the incident that lead to its demise. This is a very average , bottom shelf ship that is way past a refit .... where I felt like a cash cow being milked on a daily basis .I could go on but wont . needless to say "never again " with Royal Caribbean , spend a bit more and go with Cunard , you will be happy you did Read Less
