Overdue refurbish

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Seventh cruise with RCCL and second on Navigator. Crew excellent as usual, but seemed overworked? Dining room was excellent, so saw no need to go to speciality restaurants. Windjammer usual Windjammer, although sweets and meats fewer? Did not try for a sunbed as by 0930 they were covered in blue towels, and stayed that way.Something needs done about hogging the beds. The ship itself ...

Can still be enjoyable if you don't let the cost cutting get to you

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

We cruise with RC quite regularly so it is very easy to notice the ever increasing evidence of cost cutting each time we go on board. It hasn't quite reached the point where I would consider going elsewhere but it's very close. Firstly, the Main Dining Room. Vastly understaffed. Can't blame the wait staff. It's not their fault that there isn't enough of them. Result is a very long wait between ...

BAD POINTS Cabin - misleading description and dated Entertainment - very poor overall Seating for party of 5 almost impossible especially in entertainment venues On board prices - ludicrous Return journey deliberately made slower , if normal speed had been maintained it would be possible to fit in another stop . Lied to us about a compensation agreement and have even ...

Cruise full of hormonal teenagers and screaming kids

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

We chose this cruise to celebrate the 70th birthday of my wife's aunt. Staff was fantastic. Could not fault them one bit. Food at Windjammer was good. Food at other restaurants was average to good. The ship is starting to show clear signs of age and being tired. And cruises like ours that was full of teenagers and kids doesn't help. The behavior of most teenagers was disgusting. Some ...

we have been regular cruisers with Royal Caribbean, indeed we were on Navigator in 2016, but this vessel has changed since then. It is long overdue it,s refit in January 2019, and gives the appearance of a well used 3 star hotel. The corridor and cabin carpets are worn to say the least and as there had been a virus outbreak on the previous cruise deck 7 and 8 had an interesting aroma of vomit as ...

Mediocre

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Honeymoon ... not that any staff recognised this. Having sailed on The Oasis previously, this cruise was way below the Oasis standard. Embarkation and disembarkation were good and fast. Cabin was good size but balcony a bit small. Sheets not changed in the 2 weeks we stayed but was kept clean. Dining in main dining room was excellent, food service was outstanding thanks to our waiter Omar. Mixed ...

Chav central, more like Benidorm

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

The was not a classy cruise. More like benidorm on sea! And some of the tattooed specimens on board would have been more at home there. Far too overcrowded. Impossible to get a sun lounger due to people reserving all day(and security doing nothing!). Also the photographers are very aggressive, grabbed my child when he was on his own and made him quite apprehensive of them. Royal Caribbean ...

Large ship not as good as their smaller ships

this is the 3 cruise we have been on with Royal Caribbean Vision of the seas and Rhapsody of the seas. We thoroughly enjoyed themtwo ships and would give them 5 for the everything they had made use of the space on the ship and the staff were excellent. Navigator of the sea was different even though it was a larger ship it was missing the personal touch like the other two ships. it advertised a ...

Good and Bad!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

User Avatar

We chose this cruise because of the destination/ ports of call. Starting in Southampton, embarkation was very quick and smooth, staff were friendly and helpful. Staff on board the ship were friendly, helpful and never had any problems apart from when going into the next cruise area to enquire about something and I think it was because it was not about booking a cruise onboard that the ...

We wanted to see Europe and the ports that Royal was traveling to. The ship looked great when we were looking to go. The weather I’ve there in the summer was supposed to be amazing. So everything lined up to go on this cruise for a family vacation. We didn’t know they we would run into so many problems with our stateroom. The formal dining was great! I just wished windjammer would change up the ...
