Chose this cruise because of the destinations but felt let down by the company's dining experience in the main restaurant. Should have been a fine dining experience but the food was never hot.
Stateroom was roomy and well serviced and staff all very friendly. Windjammer restaurant was great for food in mornings and any time during the day so why can't that be replicated in the main dining room. ...
This was supposed to be really good value, including a full drinks package and all tips.
Not sure that the price we paid was actually that good compared to others.
Evening entertainment was very average - only three shows from the troupe in 12 nights. A Comedian and a Ventriloquist - the 70's called - they want their entertainment back.
Darren Day really?
The 3 tenors style show was ...
This was our third cruise on a Royal Caribbean vessel and as usual everything ran like clockwork. Our embarkation at Southampton was effortless and took less than ten minutes from entering the embarkation hall to being on board the Navigator of the Seas.
Although our cabin was not ready at the time of embarkation as we had arrived early provision was made on board to have a meal in the ...
We were allocated a room on the 2nd deck, even when the engines had stopped there was a continental weiring all the time, made it very hard to sleep. Hardly any hot water for shower and several broken items in our stateroom. The whole ship needs a revamp. The service in all areas was bad. Would not use the line again at the moment they only seem interested in making money. The drinks were ...
My husband and I were travelling with a group of 60 passengers and this was our 1st ocean cruise. I was nervous about being on the open seas, but once on board Navigator of the Seas, all fears were gone. It was a smooth sailing vessel even when the N. Sea became a little choppy. Thoroughly enjoyed the live shows in the theater, the entertainment (trivia, sing-a-longs, etc. ) in the Schooner ...
We had a lovely cruise vacation experience. The crew and staff on board did a great job, working very hard to make sure all your wishes and desires are accommodated.
We did only shore excursions through RCI some of which were better than others, times in some of the ports felt very short and lead to feeling rushed on some of the excursions. Really heavy traffic in some of the ports of call ...
The cruise was good, as was the food and entertainment.
Cruise ship staff were excellent.
If I have a criticism it would be the distance the ship was docked from the the town/city we were visiting, also the length of time we were allowed to spend on shore at some ports of call was not enough.
Food/Dining
Cabin
Entertainment we all excellent
I would go again, but would necessarily ...
Needing a wheelchair adapted balcony stateroom this was the only cruise available 9 months ago. My husband and I have cruised with RCI many times and deceided that as we had never been to the Baltics before we would give it a go.
Much of the ship is looking a bit tired however Navigator is due for a re-fit soon. The stateroom was ok the cabin steward very attentive without being ...
The cruise itself was very enjoyable. The staff were great. The food not so great. A lot of the time the food was lukewarm and the vegetables almost raw. Not very nice.
The prices of drinks in the bars/restaurants is extortionate. $40 to $70 dollars for a bottle of wine. A can of John Smiths $8. You could not afford to have many drinks on this cruise.
The entertainment again was not as good ...
In my experience, there are four things that make or break a cruise – the ports, the staff, the food and wine experience, and the ship itself.
Ports = We rate the ports as 5 out of 5 for this Baltic Capitals cruise. Great cities to visit, every one.
Staff = The staff gets a 5. They did their best to make us happy, especially our waiter and cabin steward.
Food and Wine = Except for the ...
