Grand cruise for Diamond.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

We needed an 8 day cruise to attain our Diamond status with Royal Caribbean's Crown and Anchor program. The Navigator of the Seas was the only one that met the criteria for us. Port Everglades was a piece of cake. Royal Caribbean rep met us at the airport and directed us to an air conditioned bus. We boarded immediately and in less than 5 minutes we were on our way to the port. We had ...

We chose the Navigator to celebrate my 50th birthday on the 16th and I wanted to leave on that day. Also, we hadn't been to Labadee or St. Kitts. We stayed at the Hyatt Place for one night before the cruise. Super easy and fast check in, staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was good, plenty of hot and cold choices and guests were polite. Walking distance to numerous ...

This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise (Navigator of the Seas) after numerous cruises on Carnival and Princess. Our last cruise was five years ago. Embarkation was pretty painless; lines moved quickly. Overall: The ship just was refurbished and was in very good shape. The bars and restaurants were all clean. There were plenty of bars and restaurants. The promenade shopping area is very ...

Navigator of the Seas; Lacking

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

As a Diamond member with RC, I was expecting a fantastic cruise as I have usually had. This cruise was far from being up to par on RC's side. Embarkation was a total disappointment. Diamond and Plus members were always offered a separate boarding area (one of the perks afforded for loyal service), but apparently not present at the pier to board for Navigator. I asked when I checked in and was ...

I liked that there were lots of beach chairs on deck. Checking out towels each day was a pain. And people did save chairs even though they weren't supposed to. The captain was super hard to understand and didn't really keep us updated. The food in the windjammer was not great. Always the same things and too many rice dishes or one pot dishes. The windjammer was always closed too. The deck was ...

A warning before you start: My reviews are long. This one may be longer than most because it was an 8-day, port intensive itinerary. I divided it into sections to help the reader find the information they need a little faster. Embarkation We left for Fort Lauderdale from Atlanta at around 3:30 am on the day of our cruise. Spring break traffic was pretty heavy all the way down there except ...

Navigator . . . from my point of view

I will preface this by saying: I am giving an honest review. There are a couple of negatives, BUT by no means would I say don't sail on Navigator. I was able to go on a cruise . . and I LOVE cruising! Embarktion: We flew into Ft. Lauderdale airport, arriving at the port about 11:30 (it's VERY close to the port). My husband's brother (who was joining us on this cruise) picked us up and ...

We brought our 6 year old twins on their 2nd cruise. We flew in late the night before and stayed at Riverfront Hotel the night before (booked through Priceline, very expensive because of Easter Weekend). We used Uber service from airport to hotel, hotel to port and port to airport without a hitch. We cruised on RCI's Navigator of the Seas to Georgetown, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Jamaica & ...

This was our first time cruising on Royal Caribbean. The staff did a great job and we really enjoyed the shows (especially Ice Dancing and Sound Collage). The Windjammer, which is the ongoing buffet was good for breakfast and lunch with great fries, burgers, hash browns, and omelettes. Bartenders were friendly and quick and bars were everywhere so you did not have to stand in line for very ...

Great cruise for a family with many ages of kids for over Spring Break. Ship was clean, most workers friendly, and many activities to chose from. I was surprised at how the ship did NOT feel crowded in comparison to last year's cruise on the Freedom. I loved the pool and hot tub lay out on this ship as it was easy to keep an eye on my kids and find my friends easily. And, the live music on ...
