Poor cruise

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

We have always wanted to do the fjords but were very disapointed I know the rain is not the ships fault but it rained every day and one port Flam had one shop which most of the 3000 odd guests headed to it took no time at all to visit this port as it was raining the ship was full to the brim so as usual no where to sit we spent most of our time in the cabin Not enough waiters in the bars if you ...

A lovely cruise to a wonderful destination.

I had never been on a cruise before and went purely to see the Fjords. Embarking was really very easy - we were on the ship within 15 minutes of entering the departure building. Immediately staff were helpful and attentive. The ship is huge slightly scary for a first time cruiser, and then one I was over the shock of it's size, I was amazed at how much this vessel held on it, skating ...

Certainly not the best cruise I've been on!

I was very impressed by how smoothly embarkation at Southampton went, we were on Navigator within 30 minutes. I had never cruised with RC before, previously I'd used Celebrity, however I chose RC for the ports they were visiting. I found the ship extremely busy, especially Windjammer, it didn't matter what time of the day I visited finding a table was very difficult if not impossible on some ...

Boarding process and Disembarkation were both Excellent Ship: Bit tired looking and didn't really have a wow factor. Probably not helped by weather being poor and things look less well in the rain Entertainment: Easily poorest we ever encountered. Only the Michael Buble, Juggler and Ice Show impressed. Other shows very disappointing Windjammer: OK at best. Nearly always crowded and the ...

Not the Best Ship

This is not one of the best ships with Royal Caribbean I have been on 3 others and they were far better than this one, everything about this ship was done on a budget, the entertainment was poor amateurish, the lack of activates on sea days there was not a lot to do for older people and what there was to do there was not enough seating area's for everyone to join in, there were no dance lesson ...

Many previous reviews have been extremely negative and in some cases completely unfair, however each passenger has a different experience or point of view. Thankfully I have come off the ship having had a fantastic weeks cruise in Norway. Firstly this was a very different cruise to a 14 night Med cruise so no sun bed issues (we were not blessed with sunshine) and the clientele probably differ ...

Good cruise despite gloomy Norwegian weather

Always wanted to see the Norwegian fjords & we hoped by going in August (albeit late August) we would have decent weather. We had been to the Sounds in NZ on a stunning day in March on Radiance, so were hoping our luck would hold for Norway. But it didnt, it was grey & moist most of the time. But we still had a great time! Our cabin as at the very front of the ship, under the brdge, so we had the ...

This was our second trip on Navigator of the Seas. We wanted to do a Norwegian Fjords cruise and this was one of two options offered by Royal Caribbean. Embarkation went very smoothly. We were allocated inside cabin 3029 which was located where the old Disco would have been - Sabor was above us. It is a quiet location (though we occasionally could hear someone next door snoring!) and we had no ...

Navigator of the Seas needs more navigation.

This was our first cruise and we chose to do it after many flight delays and too much airport stress in previous years. That aspect of the holiday was so easy. We parked, some very friendly people took our luggage out of our car and we saw it again on the ship. All we had to do was walk to the ship with our hand luggage and check in - a very simple procedure. It was even easier on the way off as ...

This is out 5 cruise 3rd with RCI. First from the UK port of Southampton. We have only cruised the Med and the Caribbean in the past. The ship was amazing as always and the staff are the best again as they always are. The main dining room is probably the best I have been to. The food was good, not AMAZING however then you think they are doing 18000 covers per day it is very ...
