Good itinerary, let down by very dated ship and very high prices on board

Chose this cruise for the itinerary and we weren't let down by this - a good selection of ports, places we wouldn't necessarily want to spend a lot of time in but wanted to visit. Boarded at Southampton and cannot fault the efficiency of the staff and check in process. Once on board we were very disappointed with the decor of the ship and the so called 'state room' which looked more like a ...

I have just returned from a 12 night Northern Europe cruise with my partner and was rather disappointed by the whole experience. The Navigator of the Seas was a very dated and poorly designed ship, and overall the cruise offered little value for money. Cabin We booked an outside cabin (standard with a window). We weren’t expecting to be in the lap of luxury but in all honesty we felt like we ...

Grubby ship, British themed entertainment and luke warm food.

We chose this cruise because of the amazing destinations. Traveling through the Baltic, stopping in Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Finland and finishing up in St.Petersburg in Russia. The destinations did not disappoint...but the food and entertainment were abysmal. The ice show was spectacular...but if all went downhill from there. It was similar to a 70’s holiday camp type entertainment with ...

Wanted to see more of Europe so booked with Royal Carribean first and last time! Ship is tired needs a refit though on the positive side is clean. Staff work hard , long days and are always helpfull. Sadly the drinks are very expensive $13 for a glass of wine $3.50 for a can of coke !! There are no price lists at any of the bars so unable to choose other than by looking over the bar . ...

Poor quality, poor service, rushed destinations

We were a group consisting of two families equalling 23 of us. The other family picked the cruise line. We were all disappointed. The motto of Royal Caribbean should be changed to hurry up and wait. For example the Captain makes an announcement that everyone needs to be on board by 530 and if you are not, "make sure to bring a camera to take wonderful pictures of the beautiful Navigator of the ...

This was on husbands bucket list and after a serious illness wanted to go whilst he could still enjoy it. The ship was lovely and on the whole the service excellent and however the service from customer services was appalling. The shore excursions were badly organised and in Zeebrugge the exit from the ship was absolutely appalling and utter chaos. Unlikely to book with Royal Caribbean ...

Poor dining experience and high drink prices

The ports of call were the main reason for choosing this cruise. We had previously sailed twice with Celebrity and had been very happy. We assumed, wrongly, that Royal Caribbean being part of the same group would be similar. The cabin was ok but the bathroom was very cramped. The cabin staff were good and the bed was comfortable. The public areas were very busy with seating at a premium. Bar ...

we wanted to see st. Petersburg so we booked this cruise. the entertainment is not all great. the karaoke nights were terrible. the host did not do much so it was so dull. the ice show was the lamest of the ice shows on sea that we saw. the evening production show did not have the quality to it. it felt flat. there was too much indian food. ( I eat and enjoy indian food but it seems ...

Unfortunately the attention of the crew was not friendly. The Wig and Gavel bar, the Two poets bar and the pool bars the crew is so unfriendly and with a constant answer: "NO"....YOU CANT DO THIS, YOU CAN´T DO THAT, NO, NO, NO and a smile from them is almost as asking water to stones. Well, in one time the crew of Two Poets took the luxury of scolding me for a confusion in drinks. The crew of ...
