On April 24, 2018 I began a trip of a lifetime visiting several places on my bucket list. I flew to New Delhi for a pre-cruise package from Oceania to the Taj Mahal. I had very high expectations of the seeing the Taj Mahal and actually being there exceeded my expectations. It literally took my breath away. We had a 3.5 hour bus ride to Agra from New Delhi and 114 degree temperature but it was ...
My wife and I have been on numerous cruises (19+) throughout the world on various cruise lines over the years. This was our second cruise with Oceania; the previous cruise was to Bermuda. The 28-day Timeless Wonders Cruise started with the India Taj Mahal Extension on April 25, 2018. Our flight from Florida was arranged by Oceania and flew through Newark, then to Delhi. No problems. The ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to explore parts of Asia. We were pleasantly surprised that the quality of the food had returned to what we had experienced on Oceania cruises years ago. The flow of guests and food in the Grand Dining Room seems to have been helped a lot by having waiters put in orders on an "iPad." There were no long waits for our food. Many evenings the delicious sea ...
great itinerary, great staff, very clean. Canyon ranch spa food was a joke. No yoga equipment as was promised by cruiseline staff. We would go again and know better waht to expect, especially with the food; not a lot of healthy options. After the first few days the waitstaff prepared a salad for us for every meal so we at least had some good nutrition daily. Thoought the entertainment was ...
Chose this cruise because of the inclusive itinerary which included Vietnam where I served during the War in 1967 - 1968. Also, past experiences on Oceania have been excellent!
Ship provided tours were good but not exceptional!
Service everywhere aboard the ship was beyond excellent!
Food assistance always available in the terrace for those needed help carrying their plates.
Wine ...
Our pre-cruise with Oceania to Xian to see the Terracotta Warriors was wonderful. Oceania took care of every detail. Our hotel in Shanghai and Xian were both excellent. The airport transfers with the pre-cruise was smooth and uneventful. Our guide traveled with us to from Shanghai to Xian and back. He spoke English very well and was a wonderful guide in Shanghai when we toured Old Town ...
Second Cruise on Nautica and both have been great. The staff is great and do their best to make sure you enjoy the experience. As usual on any Oceania ship the food was well above any other line.
While they do not prohibit children, I do not believe they would enjoy this ship. The ship is small and has no activities for children. Seniors will especially enjoy this ship as it is easy to get ...
Traveling with our dear friends, one of whom is a Veteran that served in Vietnam 50 years ago and wanted to finally go back to see it again, we originally selected this cruise because the itinerary matched with what we were interested in seeing. Now, having completed the journey and enjoying every minute of it, I'm compelled to let others know how pleased we were for choosing Oceania's Nautica as ...
The ship is lovely, all paneled walls and elegant furnishings. People have referred to it as old world. I also like very much that it is smaller than the ones we have been on in the past. It is not so exhausting to go from one end to the other all day. I also feel that it is easier to meet people when there are fewer of them. You are more likely to see people you have seen before. The ...
We chose the cruise based on the itinerary and reviews of Oceana. We loved it and met many great people on the ship! The food was wonderful, especially in the speciality restaraunts. The ship itself was really pretty. This cruise started in Singapore and traveled to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and ended in Hong Kong. The real advantage of this cruise and ship was the port locations. Bigger ...
