Not worth the extra cost!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

The restaurants were not worth the extra cost. Food was not much different than the dining room. Service was slow and they seemed very over worked. Also, we picked this cruise line for the luxury and I actually thought Carnival is better. There were a lot of elderly people on this cruise. Music only played a few hours a day. Not a lot of activities unless you were 5 years old or a young ...

Food A. To many people to serve at one time at buffets. B. Disappointed because Guy's famous Bar-B- Que was only opened for one day of the entire 5 days and for 2 and a half hours at that. Never did get to sample his wonderful prepared pork we had heard about. His hamburgers were the best I have ever tasted in my life. Loved his fries also. C. We had anytime dining. We have chose this ...

We chose this cruise because it was convenient and sailed out of Charleston. It only took about an hour to board and start our vacation. That was probably the smoothest embarkation we've ever had. The first thing that struck me was the number of Children. My wife and I have children of our own and never thought it would be a good idea to cruise with kids. This definitely proved to be t the case. ...

The Escape From the Captain to the CD Tyler Gray to the entire crew and staff, thus far being on the Escape has been our best experience and we have cruised a lot! The Escape had the best of both worlds with free styling yet the opportunity to go out to luxury dinners to the finest in entertainment. The Ship was set up nicely, very beautiful and elegant yet had that nice party flavor when ...

Bad Food!

We leave near Charleston, so we chose this cruise because the port is so close. The ship is a bit dated but still nice. This was our first cruise so I was a bit shocked at how tiny the rooms are. It was tight even for just the 2 of us. Boarding was a bit confusing once on the ship, but we stopped someone and they directed us where to go. Plenty to do aboard, many bars and shops. My biggest ...

We just returned from the Quantum March 13, 2015 sailing. Overall, we had a great time; although, we loved the Allure more. Embarkation We arrived at the Port of Bayonne around noon with a 1:45 pm check-in time. There was little to no line and we circled around and unloaded our car pretty quickly, given that we had 10 pieces of luggage for two adults and one 15 mos old baby.  We also packed a ...

First let me state that I have traveled on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity cruise lines- so I have an idea of service, facilities, and features on the various companies. This was my second cruise on RC (my first was on the Monarch of the Sea). Given my fabulous experience on Monarch of the Sea, I was truly looking forward to this cruise. Sadly, I am disappointed. My next cruise will be a ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

This is my 2nd time (and last time) on the Constellation and 7th Celebrity cruise. This ship is in terrible shape. The furnishings in the public areas are in tattered disrepair. The fabrics are literally worn off the furniture so there are bald spots. The room was not much better with rust in the grout in the bathroom and a moldy shower curtain. Having been now on Celebrity many times, they have ...

Shorty after we set sail on the Carnival Ecstasy, I was praying for debarkation. The check in process was painless and moved rather quickly which was a pleasant suprise. The first thing I noticed after stepping on to the ship were massive crowds of people. I figured that this was just because everyone was boarding at the same time and that once the confusion subsided and everyone figured out where ...

Great Cruise and Staff, Too Short of a Cruise

My Husband and I booked this cruise last minute (December) to get out of the cold weather and a great deal. We arrived at Port Canaveral and check in. We are Diamonds with RCCL so check in was about 5 minutes for us. This is the first time we have been on the Enchantment and were a little hesitant. The last time we were on this class of ship was when the Grandeur was brand new and we did not like ...
