Guest service was not great, I called three times the day we arrived on the boat to let them know that there were four people in our room and the room was only set up for three. They didn't come until 9:30 that night. Since then it's been a downhill struggle. By the second day our room was out of toilet paper. In the morning I called and asked for more toilet paper to be brought, we came back to ...
MSC Check the box cruiseline!
Overall it’s the appearance of service:
MSC goes thru the motions of offering services. They are forcing more and more things to the APP which does not work most of the time, hard to find things, will not let you complete a task and requires you to scan codes for every bar and restaurant for menus. Want to go to a show or book a restaurant – use the APP. ...
7 day cruise on MSC Seashore March 17-24, 2024
For background we are a couple around 70 years old. Have cruised about 15 times on several lines so not novices, but not super cruisers.
Overall we had a good time, but many aspects of this cruise were confusing. We do not plan to cruise with MSC again.
First of all, the good.
Embarkation was smooth and quick.
Cabin was good as most. ...
We chose this cruise to fill in a gap in our vacation schedule- being snowbirds from colder climates! The ship is beautiful, there are multiple seating areas, the standard cabin was spacious, although the bathroom space was tight. MSC does require you to bring your own distilled water for CPAP machine. Other cruise lines provide this.
The variety show was entertaining but the stage productions ...
We cruised the MSC Seashore to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral on February 1st through February 4th 2024. When we first booked, our booking included the drinks and the Wi-Fi package. Our first email from MSC confirmed that. However, we got another email that had the package removed even though we did not remove it. We wrote numerous emails to MSC. We spoke to various agents. This was never ...
This was our 3rd cruise with MSC - we traveled on the Klove cruise in 2015, 2017, and this past January.
This will be our last time with MSC - this past trip my husband and I traveled with my sister and her husband
Here are my notes…
Positive
Boarding was much simpler
Tarzon was very helpful at the customer service desk
Negative
Upon check in - sister & hubby were told ...
Honestly the Butler service and the Yacht Club Restaurant Staff were outstanding, but the Food fell short during all events and to say Hot Dogs and Burgers were the best of the rest. The entertainment also fell short in the Seaside lounge as well as the Theater those shows were so below any show I have ever seen, the entertainment on the ship was at the Sports Bar. Also we had issues with our ...
Our cruise was a 7 day going to Nassau, Ocean Cay, Costa Maya, Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico. Upon leaving Ocean Cay for Costa Maya we were informed that stop would not be happening. The excuse was rough seas and high winds, but in fact there were no storms or high winds in the area. Beside that the food in the main restaurant was poor and not very plentiful. The waiters could not even pour a cup of ...
MSC out of Canaveral is Carnival of 30 years ago. The cruise was priced to fill the ship which resulted in a drunken mess the first two days. We are in the Yacht Club area which is MSC’s equivalent to a gated community…thankfully. Most anytime during the day and most anywhere on the ship you encounter rowdy drunks. Absolutely no security anywhere. If you are 20-30 and looking for endless booze ...
We thought we would try MSC since we got a good price and the ship looked beautiful. It is pretty but, hard to get around. None of the rooms for entertainment are big enough for the amount of people on the ship. If you want to go to the theater you have to make a reservation and other entertainment you are lucky to get a seat in. I must say the entertainment in the theater was very good. They ...
