We have travelled on repositioning cruises before 32 in total many on MSC but this is our first one on MSC Seascape. We chose this transatlantic cruise to avoid a long flight back to New York City. We had just disembarked the Costa Favolosa cruise (12 days) on 11/20/22. The night prior to the MSC sailing we stayed at the Hotel Granvia which is a repurposed mansion converted to a hotel. The hotel was beautiful, clean, reasonably priced and centrally located.

Unfortunately when we booked this cruise we were unaware that the passenger profile were primarily very conservative Brazilians, and as a gay couple felt very uncomfortable.
Also all the entertainment was more focused on Brazil - which is ok if it was good, but it wasn't

I chose this cruise for the Itinerary, the price and the low single supplement.
Embarkation went smoothly, I was lucky enough to be assigned a disabled cabin and it was large, well appointed and clean. My cabin steward, Stanley was excellent.

This was my first and probably last MSC cruise.
It's a pity because the ship itself has some good points and the ports of call were fantastic.
We picked the ship up in Southampton along with what it turns out a lot of new crew who took a couple of days to come to terms with things.

We booked Aurea Suite und as Black Member in the Voyager Club we expected high comfort and attentive service.
