Ordered dinner and the vegetables were raw when we queried the head waiter he blamed the server
The menu, well I hope your not paying the head chef a decent wage because he is not dishing ...
My husband and I chose this cruise as it covered the Med, Suez, Petra and Ports in the Middle East.
We arrived in Barcelona for check in which took 3 hours as there were so many people boarding and not enough staff to check us all in.
The cabin was nice, double bed, sofa bed and balcony.
The staff in the sit down restaurant were from Bali and all very nice people and very good at their ...
We cruised from Venice to Dubai via the Suez Canal for seventeen nights in an inside cabin, mid-ships, on a re-positioning cruise with MSC in November 2018. We have cruised before but this was our first experience of MSC.
Facts
The passengers were predominantly Italian, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese with a minority of British.
There were two European and two US electrical ...

As this was our fourth cruise with MSC we are in a position to compare and comment on what we found.
Hopefully my comments will be of some assistance to MSC ...
Joined the ship in Rome which was smooth and effortless. Ship is lovely and clean, balcony cabin was par for the course albeit cupboard space a bit tight for 17 days, shame our maid lacked the little touches, like ensuring we had the correct number of towels. One rather annoying feature of our balcony was the regular cleaning of the ship outside which washed all the flakes of paint and dirt onto ...
We chose this cruise due to the fact that the departure port was Cape Town, our home. The route was not port intensive as it was up the West Coast of Africa and involved a lot of sea days. Not a bad thing as it was very relaxing. Final destination was Venice - a big plus as we had never been there before.
The Pro factor - The entertainment was superb each evening. The best any of us had ...
I did not have great expectations of MSC, I researched thoroughly via this website.
The entertainment was outstanding, with the exception of "Frankie", Australians are too polite to walk out. The enrichment lectures were again, outstanding.
The food was awful, I knew it would be - was not disappointed. I was at a table with three (including me) passengers who were gluten free, our menu ...
