I chose the cruise because i heard that it would good. To my dismay the service was bad, the staff over worked, food was terrible. The drinks package which we had was not worth it as most of the bars are closed all the time. I strongly think msc needs to treat their staff better so that would be more productive. The rooms are not properly and hygienically cleaned. There were no themed nights on board and absolutely minimum entertainment compared to other cruise liners and considering it was a christmas cruise one would expect more from this. I will never go again as i was terribly disappointed. I would really appreciate feedback from this experience as there were many people on board from all different countries that had the same view as me. They all were very disappointed with the cruise on a whole and totally expected a better deal. Read Less

We spent a good week because the family company we had was great, but the service on the cruise is better. I have been to other shipping companies and this was the first time with MSC and I think some services are better. To start the tour service, I think they should take care of the explanations of the excursions to the clients, they do not give enough information. The dinners are very monotonous, there is no animation of any kind, for example, dinner of the captain and the captain? He does not come to dinner, you go to take a picture with him .. it should be him who comes to see his customers. Dinner in white ... And ...? if .. people wear white And ...? I do not see animation or support on the part of the waiters and so all the nights ... The animation for the day a little loose ... the daytime entertainers do not look for customers, they do not encourage them to go out and participate ... they are not animations that encourage them to participate. We took a person with a wheelchair, we received in the cabin a letter so that any help we needed to call a number and ask for a person and after three days calling and complaining at the reception, we are still waiting for us to be called and we were asked to apologize at least, because no one picked up the phone and the time we got it they answered us in English (we are Spanish) and they told us that there was nobody that could attend to us and they hung up the phone. We complained at the reception and until today ... without solution, thanks to which between us we could find solution, but not thanks to the supposedly special attention that had that person on board by the circumstance of going in wheelchair. Cruise in size, visually huge and where they take care of the boat a lot, but not the customers, appearance of luxury and seriousness that you need to make the customer feel comfortable. The cabin very nice, size and cleanliness, the life that gives the balcony is amazing. I will return and continue to cruise, but with other companies as before, with companies that take care of their customers. Read Less

We book the cruise on MSC because of the ship look nice in the pic; the route is very interesting so we book it. Before we had some cruise with NCL and Celebrity. So we can compare a little. In the first impression it looks all very nice, the ship is in a good condition, and it’s clean. Not perfect, but it's OK. We booked some beverage packages, like Cappuccino, Water and bottle wine, so far so good. But you cannot use this in all bars, without discussion what is accepted and was not. This is so stressful. One of our greatest complaints is nearly nobody from the service staff is smiling; they look all stressed, unfriendly. We don't really feel welcome on board. The food in the self service restaurant always the same during the cruise so there is not much change. They do not look for the disinfection station in front of the restaurant, if somebody uses it or not, nobody really cares. For us hygienic on a ship is essential. Our final conclusion no more MSC. best about this cruise was the drinks package, fine dinning in the villa verde, I thought i was at an audition of Oliver ? please sir give me more, you could fit the 3 courses on a single plate, people would go up to the buffet after fine dinning as they were still hungry. best time to eat at the buffet was between 6-7 pm after this time less and less selection was available food here was fine. As said by many the theatre shows were mostly opera so ,did not use much. Cabin was fine but small shower,bar staff and cabin staff were excellent, entertainment was good and varied in the loungers.To me the biggest rip off is the bingo 25,000 euro prize if you call in 40 numbers, but your card has 25 numbers not the normal 15 this is a total RIP OFF you will never win in 40 numbers. we were a party of 6 booked direct with msc so no commission to pay, i needed to print boarding passes for return flight home went to customer services asked if they could print them for me only to be told go to library and pay 3.50 euro to print them, I believe it is the responsibility of the employer to pay staff wages and not the customer, I did not pay gratuities but gave tips to people who gave us very good service, I would go with MSC again only if the price was right Read Less
