A very good repositioning cruise from Italy to Brazil

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Seaview

A) Embarkation: MSC allows passengers to choose a timeframe for embarkation. It was very fast and efficient. We had 11:00 to 12:00, and by 11:40 AM we were already inside our cabin. B) Cabin: extremely comfortable. Large, modern, spacious. Sofa is quite big for a ship cabin. Wardrobe and storage are limited, which is a little tough for a long trip like ours. Bathroom is modern and efficient. ...

Awesome itinerary for a quite reasonable price

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We did a 119 night World Cruise, don't know why the menu here in CC says its only 50 nights. MSC delivers a lot of bang for your buck, though not everything was perfect. But the itinerary and the dining were awesome, although strangely the famous Kaito-sushi restaurant was closed during the whole trip. The staff was excellent, I wish shore hotels would have staff as nice and attentive. The ...

ALWAYS A HIGHLIGHT EVERY YEAR!! - MSC ORCHESTRA

Review for a South America Cruise on MSC Musica

I have been doing the Cruise yearly with the Finesse Ladies group and it's the highlight of my year! We book yearly before we get off for the following year and it's a habit that we will continue to do as long as possible! My mom passed away on the 6th February this year and I enjoyed the quiet time on the deck to make peace with the big loss I encountered! Me and my friends enjoyed all ...

We are just returning from our 18 day adventure as a family of five ,two adults three children age 7, 13 ,15 we have previously sailed with RCI , NCL ,PRINCESS AND CUNARD and after reading some of the reviews of MSC had very low expectations but they do a loyalty match to our diamond plus level with RCL so we gave it a go and this is honestly the best cruise line we have sailed with happiest ...

I love boats

Review for a South America Cruise on MSC Magnifica

the shopping was so good! Way better than Zalando!! AND THE BOWLING ARENA WAS SO COOL!!! LOVE IT. Went on the behind the scenes tour which covered the bridge, engine control room, galley and gave a chance to understand crew life - very interesting and worth doing. Had the beverage package - if you drink wine, esecially the nice stuff, be aware that the wines available at the bars are very ...

The best boat ever!!

Review for a South America Cruise on MSC Magnifica

i loved the shopping!! way better than zalando. THE BOWLING ARENA WAS SO COOL! My main gripes would be - the music round the pool was ridiculously loud - I mean OTT. I also didn't like the music for most of the time, but even when I did like it (they played some ok electonic/techno for a while) it was too loud for a family area. Maybe play some chill-out quieter for most of the day and ...

Barcelona to Santos Grand Voyage

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Preziosa

Embarkation was terrible - we waited for the passengers to go ashore before staff arrived and opened the desks - 1 yacht club, 2 Priority Boarding and 2 desks for the remainder (majority) of passengers. No announcements. People began to queue, the queues were long and people began to get irate, shoving to the front of the queue. MSC need to organise this better and have more staff on ...

Unforgettable experience.

Review for a South America Cruise on MSC Splendida

The ship is very big, so be ready to walk, however, it's incredible, with delicious foods for all tastes, comfortable cabins, an excellent service, with some entertainment (but not always), activities such as videogames, F1 simulator, football ("soccer", for some), baskteball fields etc. The ports in Brazil are very direct to your ship, but I can't give a review on shore excursions by MSC because ...

I have just read reviews of Splendida in November 2015 - very similar reviews. I do agree, however, that the embarkation in Barcelona left a lot to be desired. It was not organised at all and, unfortunately, no one person appeared to be in control and knew what was happening. I understand there was a problem with check-in computers and shortage of staff - no excuse MSC MUST get this sorted ...

From Buenos Aires to Venice with the MSC Magnifica

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Magnifica

Five stars for this cruise! Was it perfect? No.... But, I am comparing it with a crossing from Santos to Hamburg with the same ship 2 years ago and the MSC Magnifica has definitely improved. Besides that, once you get used to the imperfections of MSC cruises, or what you think are imperfections comparing to other cruise lines, you do not focus anymore on those issues. At least I do not ...
