We will not travel MSC again

Review for MSC Seaview to Baltic Sea

We did choose this cruise because of the opportunity to embark without needing to fly. Embarking protocols were very strict, which is very good. A covid test was done, you had to wait and when you were negative, you could embark. Since we are vaccinated twice, lack of social distancing when queing for checking in, did not bother us. Once on board, the teens we were travelling with went ...

My Fiancé got assaulted at knifepoint while on shore and MSC didn't care.

Told 4 crew about the ordeal including reception who told us "Management has been informed". But nobody ever came to see us or even check if we were ok. Sent an email to customer service department highlighting that this was totally appalling, but they didn't see it that way - "I’m sorry to hear that you felt a lack of support from staff on board. Unfortunately, after the local police have been ...

Our First Cruise - Good But Not Perfect

Review for MSC Seaview to Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was our first cruise and having read lots of reviews before travelling, I have to say we were more than a little worried. Luckily, with a few exceptions we were had a really nice time and largely enjoyed our time on Seaview. We were warned by friends and family who had cruised before, that we would have to be patient when getting on and off the ship but we found the process smooth and stress ...

They did it again

Embarkation was an experience departing from Cannes, nearest airport Nice cost 60e taxi to get to the port. Then you are put through security checks lots of times off the ship, no seating (I am registered disabled), no shelter from the sun, the temp was 33c the day we travelled. Then unceremoniously put onto a tender to embark. The ship looked really great. We have sailed with MSC 7 times ...

MSC Seaview 31st August - 7th September 2019, return trip from Barcelona with stops at Cannes, Genoa, La Spezia, Rome, Ajaccio and Palma This was our 23rd cruise, having cruised, as a couple and as a family, with most of the mainstream cruise lines. Our trip with Seaview was our 3rd MSC cruise experience having sailed both Magnifica and Splendida previously. As before, the decision to choose ...

Cruising on a Budget - No Frills on MSC Seaview

Review for MSC Seaview to Europe - Western Mediterranean

I booked this cruise to be part of the Weight Watcher (WW) Mediterranean Cruise in July. My friend had never been to Europe so we thought this would be a great experience to see several different ports in Spain, France, and Italy and get to meet WW members from around the world. I have been on several different cruise lines over the past 6 years including: Norwegian, Holland America, and Oceania ...

Worst cruise ever!!

Review for MSC Seaview to Europe - Western Mediterranean

First off, when we arrived I checked the sheets/bed as I always do and found tons of hair in the sheets. The bed was made so I’m confused as to how there was hair in the sheets? Did they remake the bed but not change the sheets?? I called guest services to have the sheets changed. Room was not very clean. I dropped my chapstick on the floor on the side of the bed and when I picked it up, I also ...

Some good things but mostly we did not like it

I have only been on one other cruise, that was Carnival, so that is the only comparison I have. First, the good thing... The entertainment was great. The people in the show do a wonderful job. Most of the staff are nice enough. The ship is clean and beautiful. There are many nice pools and hot tubs, so they were not crowded (yet they close them all down early which is irritating). The bed was ...

Terrible service/food

Review for MSC Seaview to South America

Due to the fact that this ship is new and luxurious, we had high expectations for our vacation. But it ended up as the worst cruise service we ever experienced. Unprepared crew, no knowledge of what's happening at the ship, and always with a bad mood (with few exceptions). Attendants of the bar always busy, causing waits of up to 10 min for a simple beer (which was sometimes, warm). ...

A fabulous ship with the wow factor

This brand new ship from MSC certainly has the WOW factor, the decor is stunning and the internal spaces are stylish and well thought out. Embarkation from Barcelona was a breeze, and the welcome on board was warm. We absolutely loved this ship, the cabin was spacious and clean with a lovely decor. Our cabin steward was efficient and friendly again brilliant service. The dining room was just great ...
