Aurea Balcony Stateroom (B3) Cabin Reviews

A fun family cruise : Cabin 9030
Sail Date: June 2018
Very nice.... small but nice. We loved the balcony. Did not care for the shampoo and body wash. It seemed watered down. The beds and pillows were so comfortable

Cabin was exactly what we were looking for, for 2 adults: Comfortable, large (Queen size) bed, spacious balcony, a couch to sit on (or more accurately, to unload our clothes/backpacks onto and keep our towel animals), a desk, and a minibar. Yes, the bathroom/shower are a tight squeeze, but would you really pay more to have a tub on a cruise ship, or trade less room/balcony space for more bathroom? It was fine! And we showered a few times in the Aurea Spa, which had really nice spacious rain showers. 1 flight down from the stateroom! On June 16-23 we had the best Cabin Steward ever, Robean (another poster said he went by "Rowan") - who really stepped up his game each night with towel animals.

Excellent! Plenty of room & closet space. Large balcony, nice flat screen tv. Europe & North American outlets. Advice: Bring a surge protector & extension cord.

Small for three 27 year old women. It was nice though. We actually had our stateroom attendant separate the King Size bed and make it into 2 twin beds(which they can do btw). And my other friend slept comfortably on the pull out sofa. Closet space would've been fine for a married couple, but was VERY TIGHT for three women. We were worried about this before the cruise and actually brought magnets with hooks on them that you can get on Amazon that hang from the metal ceiling in the room to hang dresses from to save closet space. Room was nice though, and balcony was very nice. Read Less

This will be short and sweet… Like pretty much all cruise ship cabins, it was small and served it’s purpose. I am a 31 year old bachelor... and although I always get a balcony room on any ship that I sail on, I can’t tell you that I ever spend much time in my state room other than to sleep and get dressed. But, for what it’s worth, the state room was very nice, and modern. The balcony was a very decent size and I enjoyed having a bloody mary or coffee on it in the mornings. You are on a cruise ship to have a good time, and be around other people, and get some sun. —You can’t do any of those things by staying in your room. I was on deck 14(mid ship)Good location and easy to everywhere. My room stewardess was Leddy from Columbia... She was awesome. Always was there when I needed something. Read Less

Apparently you add the first two numbers of your room together to get your floor and then read the remaining three digits from right to left for your room!

Thank goodness we are all average-size people cause there's no way a bigger person would fit their body in there:)The balcony was larger than I have had in the past. Our cabin steward managed to forget towels everyday - just wanted one towel apiece, nothing unusual. Read Less

The room was big enough for 4 people only the closet was too small for all clothes for 4 people, or we had too much clothes with us. :) The bathroom was also big enough. The beds were delicious.

Needs Improvement! : Cabin 15003
Sail Date: April 2018
The cabin was a little small. Very nicely decorated. The shower was very small. The location of the closet was hard to get at. It abutted the couch. Other wise it was clean.
