Made the best of the cruise with family & friends!
"Got through with absolutely no problems, I would say no more than 15 minutes start to being boarded.-Ocean Cay: No frozen drinks on the island to be had, hot, sea lice, long walk, eateries close by 3...."Read More

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Seaside

we were on this cruise on a back to back. It relocated to Guadalope. I can't think of one thing that was not 100%. From our room steward to the dining staff. Our cabin was always clean and the ship has wonderful food. The shows are Broadway Class. I (we) have been on 68 carnival cruises and we sail on the Seacape on May 22th for 2 weeks. This will make our 6th MSC cruise and we will never go back ...

Do not listen to the bad internet troll reviews. We had a great cruise on this beautiful sparkling ship. We chose this cruise for the fact that it left from Port Canaveral. My 90 yr old Mom lives about 1 hr from Port. We drove right in to the port early and dropped bags. Went to park the car which was right across the street from the ship. Best parking ever! Parking was $$$($145/ 8 days). So if ...

Great crew, great ship, but needs improvement

We chose this cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Over all, the ship is nice. The crew is very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully maintained by our cabin steward. The food could use improvement. The main dining room is adequate. The food is good. The wait staff is excellent and extremely friendly. Their service made all the difference. The buffet gets boring and repetitive ...

Worst cruise ever!

Dirty rooms with stained carpet, sofa, beds. No tissues, lotion. Toilet paper was like gold. Every day I asked the room steward for it. He just ignored me, even when I put the empty roll on the sink so he would see it. When I got food poisoning from the food, I had to call the customer service desk 4 times to try and get toilet paper over a period of over an hour. The decaf in the ...

We decided to take a last minute short cruise. It was my first. I had been doing my research on cruises as we are taking another in January on another line and for a bit longer than the 3 days for this one. Upon arrival everything went smoothly getting on. I wasn't impressed with MSC's app though. Very limited compared to Royals. We were able to board very early. Once on board we did get an ...

I heard and read all of the mixed reviews. Saw the Amazon documentary about this ship and really wanted to enjoy ourselves. First of all, the food was the worst. Very poor quality, lack of selection and cold. We got the dining package and to be brutally honest the food was not very good apart from the Asian restaurant but the dining package only covers about one third of the menu and so you ...

Staff was wonderful but food was terrible

I just concluded my 37 cruise, so I have a lot of experience with 8 different cruise lines. The ship was very beautiful and very clean but was a maze inside. It was very hard to even find your room. There was not straight hallways as other lines. The room was clean and about the normal size of other lines. The staff on board was very friendly and did a great job. I tried to understand ...

First and last time on MSC

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and I am diamond on Carnival and Royal Caribbean. These people must really hate their jobs. I was over charged constantly and they don’t even apologize. You will always be faster taking the stairs over the slow overcrowded elevators. The food quality was even worse than Carnival and that says a lot. Long lines and slow service are the standard on ...

We were on a adult only vacation with a large number of friends (250 ppl). This was my husband and I's first cruise in 10 years. Our last was with Carnival. The ship was much larger. The room except bathroom and balcony was larger. We had a great time since we had a large group and found friends everywhere we went. Con's were the staff, mostly they seemed unfriendly and unhappy. The pools, deep ...

First, the good. The ship is beautiful. The private island is beautiful. The cost was very affordable. I never felt like my life or safety were in danger. They had a good variety of parties and activities. I’ve never seen anything more disorganized, or dysfunctional in my life. The staff is blatantly, rude and disrespectful. Nobody has a clue what’s going on, what the policies are or where ...
