Great itinerary with very interesting ports alas the highlight ports were cancelled without being informed of this change and no interesting ports were added.
Embarkation was easy and organised
The highlight were the exceptional staff especially cabin dinner and entertainment staff so friendly and cooperative
Poor nightly shows the best was done by the crew
Good was good except not ...
The ship itself is wonderful, well laid out, constant cleaning & maintenance daily.
Very clean & fantastic staff in bars, pool area’s & toilets.
The buffet has plenty of choices although food could be hotter at times.
My biggest gripe are the reception & excursion staff. I’m not sure how they were employed as customer service should be first & fore within any company.
Arrogant & ...
Got this cruise for an excellent price a few years earlier. Ship was clean. Bar staff were friendly and chatty.
We've sailed quite a few Med cruises but the itinerary on this cruise had all new ports never been to before so that was a plus point.
Food in buffet and MDR was very good. Better than what I had expected and much better than a Costa cruise I took in April.
So why 3 ...
To be fair, my wife and i had a fine cruise. We had booked a cruise on MSC Splendida due to the route and we were not disappointed. For October the weather was excellent. It is a pity there is always a time constraint not allowing you to visited all the places you want to, however we knew the route and the timetable.
Best part of the ship is the crew. Friendly and helpful, hard working, making ...
Interesting route. Terrible experience with shore excursions staff. They were arogant and not helpful at all. My written complaint was never answered (now 4 months) even I was sending reminders. Be careful with these guys, check twice what they offer and how they care about passengers. Trip to Efes was not properly done. Some crucial points were omitted. We wasted time in carpet show instead of ...
We chose to cruise with MSC because the route (Valletta, Santorini, Mykonos, Civitavecchia, and Syracuse) was very appealing to us. And each port was absolutely stunning and offers a great deal of variety and character to please everybody.
Boarding the MSC Divina at Valletta was very easy and well managed. I can only assume they left these members of staff in Malta because from that point on ...
We wanted to go to Iceland and Norwegian fiords back before Covid and booked 2 cruises on different ships because they were among the only lines going to that area. One month before departure, Covid stuck and the world stood still for travel. 4 and a half years later and several ship changes, port changes and itineraries, we finally sailed on Preziosa for back to back cruises to Iceland and ...
Serious plumbing problems:
As soon as my family and I arrived at our cabin (IR1-Deluxe Interior), the flashing of the toilet did not work, neither did the shower drain! I quickly informed the reception about this serious issue. It took them more than 24 hours and countless visits at the reception to fix the toilet and the shower! I made countless attempts to change my cabin but they declined, ...
I have been on several cruises now. Carnival breeze, inspiration and one others I cant remember. Royal Carribean Adventure of the Seas and now this one. This was by far my least favorite and most overpaid cruise. We upgraded to the Jr. Suite with Balcony since no other Balcony's were available. Room felt smaller than other ships, less space near couch area and balcony was basically standard ...
While the ship offered a wonderful itinerary overall the cruise itself was just ok. 14 days out of Barcelona hitting 10 counties was a wonderful draw for us. Boarding was seamless and quick and we basically were able to walk right on and directly to our room. Food was just ok, nothing to rave about but you didn't go hungry. Entertainment was below average, I have seen better at a high school ...
