Firstly I and tens of thousand of others are being 'MIS-SOLD'. The customer is given the opportunity and often pays extra to choose a balcony cabin or similar, only that MSC cannot be bothered to log the details and given a random cabin, yes we are in the computer age. This is a known issue with Cruise Consolidators and happened to us on MSC Seaview in December last year and the Preziosa in April ...
MSC Cruzeiros
Brasil
Last March 28th, me and my husband embarked in a so-called mini cruise of 3 nights out of Santos, Brasil. Our cabin was located in Deck 13. Due to Covid issues, we were granted a USD 100 onboard credit. Together with the cruise, we paid for a beverage package. We were expecting an outstanding cruise but out overall experience was very much disappointing.
During ...
Embarkation was terrible - we waited for the passengers to go ashore before staff arrived and opened the desks - 1 yacht club, 2 Priority Boarding and 2 desks for the remainder (majority) of passengers. No announcements. People began to queue, the queues were long and people began to get irate, shoving to the front of the queue. MSC need to organise this better and have more staff on ...
This review is very late in writing!! The reason I am writing it now is as we have just booked a cruise on the MSC seaside for this April and all the negative reviews have been a bit worrying! When I had a look at the preziosa reviews I saw that many of them were not great either and so different from our experience that I realised I really should have shared my opinions earlier.
So we sailed ...
This was a repositioning cruise that was excellent value for money. The staff were wonderful, especially our waiter Daniel Berg Cavalcante. He remembered all of our wine choices and preferences and was professional, polite and always made us feel welcome at the table, taking a genuine interest in our days activities. The entertainment staff were also great fun, ensuring that we didn't get bored on ...
Just completed a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean from the Mediterranean to South America. The ship's staff were great. Very helpfull, polite and happy. Perhaps as many of them were heading to their home country. Lots of good humour and they seemed to be interested in you. Lots of information provided by them on the areas of our onward journey.
The ship was very clean and facilities were good. ...
We were a family of 4, a couple with 2 teenagers, a girl (16) and a boy (14). We have booked for our first cruise on Preziosa one of the most expensive cabins in the Yacht Club class, the Executive Family suite. The first disappointment on arrival was that although we were in the front of the ship and had a balcony we could not access it as the windows were sealed and could not open. A shame, for ...
A trip on the MSC PREZIOSA is a great example of this basic capitalist tenant.
Me and my family took a 7 day trip on this ship along the Brazilian coast on New Years 2015. There were so many things wrong with it that I don’t even know where to start.
Most of the crew were rude and not at all helpful, with very few exceptions. The majority seemed not to speak English or the local language, or at ...
Firstly the good points - ship décor still on good condition; clean cabins; restaurant staff excellent; dealt with lactose-intolerant problem extremely well. Now for the problems-
1. Buffet food is always cold and repetitive and no-one including the Maître d'hôtel interested.
2. Even the main restaurant has a tendency to serve cold food unless you complain.
3. At the commencement of the cruise, ...
Just returning from a 7-night cruise aboard the MSC Preziosa . Travelled with my husband , my parents , in-laws and 3 nephews . Among nine people , only the children were fully satisfied with the ship . This was my fourth cruise, the first by MSCs .
We chose Preziosa because it was the newest ship traveling along the Brazilian coast , and really , its decor is beautiful , extremely tasteful . ...
