1st time cruising was so looking forward to it, Ship itself is lovely Balcony cabin very nice Staff very nice goldern lobster restaurant very nice ( but small portions ) DOWNSIDE : No celebration party on leaving Southampton. as its just another pick up port for passengers, felt like we sneaked away from all ports. All Excursions are expensive & totally a waste of time. i.e.: ...

The ship is really nice large ship great for families with the splash park slide and pool, kids club ran all day pretty much until 23.00 whixh ours loved. The food in my opinion was great when you think abou thr value against a 4* hotel in Europe you can't compare yes the portions aren't massive but it's a l carte and you get 3 courses and bread so was absoutely plenty and a great standard. The ...

Disappointing

We took a 3 night mini cruise which sailed from Hamburg, stooping in Le Havre, France and ending in Southampton. I have cruised with MSC previously so pretty much knew what to expect, whilst I would sail with MSC again, the things I don’t like about MSC were far more apparent this time. Embarkation with pretty easy, they have changed the process slightly; in the main terminal building they ...

Worst cruise ever

I chose because of the low cost. unfortunately I got what I paid for. After more than 10 cruises with other cruise I can't tell how disappointed I was. The issue started before I left home. Calling MSC you have 2 choices 2 for new booking or 3 for existing booking. If you choose 2 someone answer within 30 seconds, but if you choose 3 then no one ever answers. I tried several times no luck. Then ...

We chose this cruise because it was going to the places we wanted to visit, The embarkation process was seamless and efficient. the ship itself is a magnificent example of floating grandeur, beautiful furnishings, decor, everywhere spotlessly clean, cannot fault the ship in anyway. The staff for the most part were lovely, helpful, although i did feel sorry for the waiters and especially ...

The service and activities was excellent. The room was attended to several times a day. The cleaning crew was always around and doing a very impressive job. They did have karaoke but only for 1hr while the bar was closed - who wants to do that sober? Get the all you can drink package - worth every penny. Our trip was diverted because of weather in Sweden so we went to Finland instead. St. ...

We chose a back to back itinerary with 7 days cruising towards Norway - 3 ports then 7 days in the Baltic. Norway was great and we had excellent weather for most of the 3 weeks. The Baltic itinerary changed such that Stockholm was cancelled and we would now overnight in St Petersburg. At first glance this seemed really good but as we rarely use expensive ship excursions we were unable to ...

We wished to see the countries offered in the cruise. It was very enjoyable with fantastic insights to that part of the world.. We found the ship too large with too many people. The culinary offerings were excellent and the Theatre productions were exceptional. To have everything repeated in so many languages was tiresome. Cabin too small. Too many people - ship too large for ...

The ship itself is wonderful with lots of glass & see through as well as really nice interior. It includes several pools and different areas for relaxation. We also liked the various bars that played live music. We chose a cabin with a window within the fantastica level, as it was situated on the 8th deck right above the reception area it allowed us fast access even when the lifts were too busy ...

This was a trip that was planned for my husband and I, but then he passed away unexpectedly six months prior to the cruise, and it became a healing trip for my son and myself. We arrived in Barcelona after a long flight from South Africa, the afternoon before our embarkation on the cruise. After having booked into our hotel in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, and still hyped with excitement, ...
