This was our 4th MSC cruise and 12th cruise in total, so whilst not cruise experts we are able to compare our experience with previous trips. Although this ship is almost 10 years old, she is in pretty good shape and certainly provides a luxurious environment. We had a balcony and our cabin was in pristine condition and cleaned efficiently and effectively on a daily basis. The bathroom was a ...

For our eighth cruise, my husband and I decided to try MSC for the first time because of the itinerary, which included two islands we had not visited before (Guadeloupe and Dominican Republic). We have sailed with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity in the past. On this cruise we were traveling with a toddler and my husband’s elderly parents. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive considering all the ...

Plus: - very convenient fly&cruise package: MSC took care of our suitcase which was delivered straight to our cabin without the need to pick it up from the belt at the airport and carry it on the bus. This is the main reason we keep cruising MSC. - great itinerary with long port days abd extensive excursion programme - large pools Minus: - poor service, deteriorating as years go by. ...

It was our second time on the MSC Poesia for a Jazz Fest at Sea cruise. The MSC Poesia is a pretty ship nothing spectacular but very clean and well maintained. The 11-day itinerary was excellent and so was the jazz performances. We were part of a group for the Jazz-Fest at Sea. Our cabin was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable except for the very small pillows. However, the ...

We took the Dec 1 to Dec 11 cruise to the Southern Caribbean on the MSC Poseia. We had never cruised before. My companion and I are in our early 50s. We had read reviews and understood that this line has a strong European flair. We like Europe and the culture as well as the food. So we were looking forward to this cruise. The following is our assessment of MSC Poesia ship, the service, the food ...

Great modern ship let down by bad organisation, Food was what one would expect at Butlns. No variety in the cafeteria, same food served up every day. Entertainment was great if you liked opera. The best show of the whole trip was one put on by staff and passengers. The company would be well advised to take note.On docking in Malaga we were informed that the town was a 20 minute bus ride at a cost ...

The original primary reason for my cruise was to be able to scuba dive in Grand Caymen. I tried to register in advance, but their website was not allowing it (others have confirmed that is was not working right). So, I went promptly to the cruise desk to register and was informed after the long line wait that the excursion was already booked full. Upon polite objection and pleading they put me on ...
