Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Poesia

If I'd been told that the crew were working to rule after a nasty trade dispute I'd understand. Otherwise why be so rude, inefficient and unco-operative? Food always cold, nasty smell on upper decks and receptionists from the Soviet school of hospitality. Like many passengers caught a nasty cold for second half of the trip. We booked two trips. One was perfuntuary but on if youbdid your ...

Horror onboard MSC Poesia

I'll be blunt, direct and the most honest I can on this review. Basicly, I'm not a complicated or demanding person. This is my 3rd cruise this winter. The MSC cruise was the worst cruise and overall the worst vacation in my life. I'm now 50. Be aware that this cruise was during spring break and there were lots (realy a lot) of kids and teens. So read this critic acordingly. I wanted to kiss ...

MSC POESIA; A waste of MONEY, Time

We Arrived in New York 21st overnighted then Boarded next day Saturday. No Luggage labbles available/supplied until the Bus has arrived at the dock & we had waited over 20 minutes. Boarded the Poesia & escorted to our Cabin on Deck 12 (Balcony). First couple of days experience "passable" but the continual 5 languages begun to annoy. ENGLISH (1748 english speaking passengers)LATIN(OK it is a ...

We just returned from our trip on the Poesia. When we arrived at the dock we were in a line 4 or 5 deep, that stretched across the parking lot to the next cruise line's offices. When we finally made it inside the building, we were herded to assigned seats to fill out a very silly health questionnaire. Who is going to put down that they don't feel well when they have spent the money and time to fly ...

MSC POESIA RUDENESS AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Poesia

If you want to know what is to pay to be treated with coldness, rudeness, indifference in return, you can travel with the MSC Poesia. We committed the mistake of paying for 2 weeks in that cruise and now we have no desire to go in a cruise again. All the reasons friends gave us to take a cruise were almost absent in this cruise. The reception is totally cold and that people does not know ...

Mediocre At Best for Cruise (poor food and ok evening shows)

Very disappointed in cruise. Most cruises are known for their food and this one is definitely not. For an Italian Cruise Line, the pasta was over cooked and rubbery. The steaks were either overly fatty or very tough. On formal night they had Fillet or Lobster choice, we had both. The fillet (Medium Rare) should cut like butter or close to it. You had to saw your meat and chew it forever. They will ...

Not worth the money or time

I have just returned from the January 23rd sailing of the Poesia with 50 of my family members. I'd have to say that the stage entertainment was excellent, though the food was of uneven quality; some nights were commensurate with a cruise, but some nights were really no better than a mediocre coffee shop. The issue that was the most difficult was the room that my husband, I, and our son shared. It ...

geez where do i begin ... ok , my family and i have cruised and set sail on many cruise lines before but MSC is definately the WORST ever ... Our dream vacation was completely ruined by the horrible cruise line. From the moment of checking in they put you in 3 different waiting rooms that you dont feel like being in , especially after flying all the way to ft lauderdale from california grabbing ...

This was my 4th cruise personally, second Christmas Cruise with my wife and 13 year old son, last year we cruise on the Carnival Valor and had an amazing time, this year we tried MSC on the POESIA becuae the price was right - BIG MISTAKE !! The service on board was awful, the food was substandard, the smoking on board on the decks and in lounges was out of control, 30-45 waits in line for lunch, 4 ...

MSC = My Shoddy Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Poesia

My goal for this review is to help other (Americans) not make the same mistakes we did by choosing to sail with MSC. We just returned from the Christmas sailing with MSC, and if it weren't for the cleanliness and newness of the ship and the nice ports of call the cruise would have been a complete loss. I was wary of booking with them but wanted to try a new line despite the reviews. I can say ...
