Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We booked the world cruise for 116 nights but are home now after the horror show put up by this cruise company. We decided to come back in 80days because, the ship kept on running out of food. No choice for vegetarians except for salad (which is good for cows not human being). Ran out of fruit juices. Cancelled 10ports. Food if ever it was available it was inedible as it was under cooked. ...

Pros are supposed to go before cons, so I will put the positives first, but please don’t miss the negatives later in this review, because although there were a few redeeming qualities, make no mistake, I would never sail with MSC again. First positive, all the staff below the managerial level deserve to be commended for being true, if not powerless, delights. We had many wonderful interactions ...

If I could give no stars I would. I joined a world cruise with MSC and have had nothing but frustration and grievances. If you are a parent I highly suggest considering another cruise line. A child was assaulted by an adult passenger and when the parents filed a complaint after bringing him to the medical center, nothing was done but a warning. The baby pool on the cruise was under maintenance ...

MSC said the ship was refurbished in 2023 and they must be talking about the exterior of the ship. The public stairs lot dated with the teal and chocolate motif. The cabins are either navy or bordello red. The furniture in the cabin is worn, sun bleached and dated, think 90’s. Dining options are limited. There is the main dining room offering a selection of reoccurring average to say the best ...

WORSE WORLD CRUISE EVER- MSC IS THE WORST CRUISE COMPANY

We are currently on this terrible cruise Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us. 1. So many sea days Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees. As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...

We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available ...

Over the past year, I have read many negative reviews re: the MSC Poesia. My wife & I disembarked on Oct 22, 2011 in NYC from a 14-day R/T NYC to Quebec, Canada. on the beautiful MSC Poesia. We have been on more than 40 cruises including Celebrity, RCCL, NCL, Costa, HAL, Carnival and Homes and we happily add MSC to the list. * I cannot identify with any of the negativity that has been ...

WORST CRUISE EVER

I have been on several cruises and this was the worst cruise I have ever been on. There was no safety muster, MSC has no regard for passenger safety. There was sewer in the cold water on the 3rd day out and MSC never alerted the passengers of this health hazard. When we called it in, the said they were having a "technical difficulty" and not to drink the water. After talking with other ...

This was my first MSC cruise. I had taken 15 cruises before this one. Cabin: Small, inside, but ok for me. No hair conditioner or body lotion. Bed hard. Very lumpy pillows. No chair-just a stool. No choc. mint on pillow at night. Food: Hit or miss. Very inconsistent-for example I had veal scaloppini one night and it was great, another night it was terrible. Some food good(even ...

MSC Poesia - A Very Positive Cruise Experience!

After reading many rather negative reviews about MSC on Cruise Critic I had doubts about trying the line but I liked the itinerary of the October 8, 2011 MSC Poesia cruise to New England and Canada and booked. I was very pleased with all aspects of the cruise experience and while the ship is very European and while the MSC cruise experience is somewhat different from what most North Americans ...
