My husband and I, got to the ship on the 1st March 202 to be told go away for 2hrs. Umm we thought not a good start!.
Before boarding no refreshmentsoffered which normally happens on MSC.
Room was clean on arrival, and was cleaned daily. No attention to detail but that was fine, felt sorry for the young man as he never stopped.
The ship was like a hop on hop off bus, so we had safety ...
We are currently on this excuse of a boat that you call a cruise ship "Cabin *81**"

We even wanted to take her back home with us. The food was wow. We enjoyed everything to the fullest. Raja from the liquor store was also so nice and friendly. Told by Iglu that this was a good cruise,
.No bus to pick us up at Nice, one arrived 2 hours late.
Boat drill held before we had got to our cabin.
Internet very slow and news from TV non existent after Suez.
Ship had coughs which required doctors treatment more than expected.
Disembarkation Durban like very stressful like rush hour in London, also at Durban airport long queue to ...
We had a great trip but the time on the ship was a total disappointment . The itinerary was what enticed us to book this cruise. It was our first with MSC and we are very unlikely to cruise with them again. If this had been our first cruise it is possible we would have never returned to cruising.
First impression - beautiful ship but don’t be taken in by this. It is a beautiful facade to ...
Good Itinerary.
Unfortunately, as usual, many whinging & moaning passengers on this good value for money cruise.
Our only complaints were related to the slow embarkation in Genoa and lack of satellite TV reception while cruising the Indian Ocean.
The ships passengers were multi-national with Australians, British, Germans, Swiss, Italians, French, South Africans etc etc. Public ...
We chose this repositioning cruise because of the itinerary and wanted to do more of South Africa. Overall the ship was clean and tidy, the staff must take a lot of credit for this.
But we were disappointed over a lot of things such as the following (some can be attributed to the staff having to say it in several languages and people talking over it).
- The mandatory emergency drill ...
This was the worst cruise we ever had. Embarcation in Genova took almost 5 hours. Disembarkation in Durban took more than 3 hours. Because of the bad airconditioning half the passengers were ill after the first week with serious influenca.
The food was very low mass production and below any cruiseship standard. Fresh fruit excisted of melon green, red or yellow with the ocasionsal appel. Food ...
The trip was sold as a luxury cruise it was NOT The idea of sailing to Gallipoli and following in the footsteps of our soldiers was a good one but that was where the dream ended. In fairness the Gallipoli component was very well done and there could be no complaints about that, the lectures were wonderful and going onto the peninsular was very emotional but that was no thanks to the MSC cruise ...
My friend and I joined the MSC Orchestra in Fremantle for a 35 day cruise retracing the voyage of the ANZACS to Gallipoli and then ending in Rome.
The ship was very clean and the decor very nice. The cabin attendant was excellent and our cabin was always clean and tidy. The staff overall were very pleasant and helpful apart from some Italian staff who were somewhat arrogant.
The dining room ...
