My husband and I, got to the ship on the 1st March 202 to be told go away for 2hrs. Umm we thought not a good start!.
Before boarding no refreshmentsoffered which normally happens on MSC.
Room was clean on arrival, and was cleaned daily. No attention to detail but that was fine, felt sorry for the young man as he never stopped.
The ship was like a hop on hop off bus, so we had safety ...
We have been on several cruises including having used MSC before. This cruise has completely put us off cruising ever again. The positives - The cabin was fine, smaller than other ships but this wasn’t a problem The cabin attendant was lovely, he couldn’t do enough for us. The negatives - no mandatory hand sanitizers getting on and off the ship or in the food areas. The food was poor and service ...
Cabin was small but ok. The cabin attendant was very efficient and some of the staff were very nice and helpful, this is about all I can say positively about this ship
There was no mandatory disinfection of hands getting on and off the ship, outside restaurants or toilets. There were containers to help yourselves but quite often we’re empty. The food was dreadful, even the buffet offering was ...
MSC Review
This has been one of the worst cruises I’ve ever experienced. I planned this vacation with MSC as a “cruise of a lifetime”, considering this was my wife’s first cruise experience. My expectation was clearly not met, not to mention the ship is old and the decor is grossly outdated! What my wife and I experienced with MSC Orchestra has greatly reduced our interest in cruising. MSC ...
My family cruised on MSC Orchestra Dec 26th- Jan 9th from Durban with (planned) stops in Mozambique, Madagascar, Seychelles and Mauritius. I strongly caution prospective travelers to avoid this cruise and MSC as a whole after this disappointing holiday and will in detail describe our experience.
BEFORE CRUISE: MSC website to manage your booking is vague in detailing how their packages work. ...
Being a long time cruiser, and a gold msc Voyager club member, I know the exceptional service.
But on this last cruise it was the most disappointing experience iv ever had.
From the staff to the management, service just deteriorated terribly.
It was as we got the ticket for free and it was a burden to them to provide any customcare.
And as for the msc voyage club membership, almost ...
We chose this cruise as siblings to spend some time with my eldest sister who has cancer. It was a nightmare though because elevators is always busy and takes too much time to get to whatever floor you'd like to be. There should be a elevator for people with special needs. The food wasn't great in fact it was worst than hostel food, exept for dining room on deck 6 which had great service and food. ...
Before we embarked MSC and Bok radio knew we would not leave the port yet they kept us hoping. Luggauge was lost no toilet paper in rooms. Our Dining times was changed without notifying us. Now you offer us $25 to spend on the ship per cabinr that costed us R21 000.00 without the drinks. . Food was almost the same everyday. Bar and restaurant staff rude and unhelpful all drinks was served in paper ...
We had a great trip but the time on the ship was a total disappointment . The itinerary was what enticed us to book this cruise. It was our first with MSC and we are very unlikely to cruise with them again. If this had been our first cruise it is possible we would have never returned to cruising.
First impression - beautiful ship but don’t be taken in by this. It is a beautiful facade to ...
This was the worst cruise we ever had. Embarcation in Genova took almost 5 hours. Disembarkation in Durban took more than 3 hours. Because of the bad airconditioning half the passengers were ill after the first week with serious influenca.
The food was very low mass production and below any cruiseship standard. Fresh fruit excisted of melon green, red or yellow with the ocasionsal appel. Food ...
