Typical inside cabin, not very spacious. Ship is 12 years old, so furniture a bit dated. Tiny TV size of computer screen. Bathroom (shower had disgusting shower curtain that stuck to you while in the shower, bath gel and shampoo in wall dispensers) we brought our our bar soap and shampoo bottles anticipating this. Bath sink soap dispenser didn't work and was not repaired throughout the cruise, just removed. Stewards were vacuuming hallways after 10pm. Read Less

The cabin. There was a peanut left on our floor, from the previous guests, that didn't get cleaned up for days. A shampoo packet was left behind from the previous guest as well. However, when we asked for washcloths and extra hangers, we did receive them... I'm not sure why washcloths weren't included from the start. In addition, other cruise lines have provided basic amenities such as lotion and conditioner, which MSC did not. On our first night, we learned that if you put your keycard in the holder next to the door, a little light will go on letting the room steward know that you’re in your room. This didn’t work for our room. Our steward walked in on us. We quickly found the “do not disturb” placard that was tucked deep in a nightstand drawer. Read Less

CABIN- Bathroom has yellow shower curtain etc... You don't feel it's a luxury cruise (it's not, anyway) but everything works fine for its function. Shower was hot and water pressure was very good. Room small but everything equipped. Electricity plug is very international friendly, there are USA shape 110V plugs, and also EU +UK 220V plugs. There is Hairdryer in the room, like 1000W kind. It's okay for my long hair. Read Less

Worried for no reason!! : Cabin 10079
Sail Date: October 2015
We had a standard interior room. We were on deck ten, the Lira deck. Not too far from the stairs/elevators. The room was really nice with two twin beds and an end table for each bed. American outlets make it easy to charge your devices!
