Great itinerary and great weather

We chose this cruise for its extensive itnerary (and affordable cost). Out of 11 days we had only one day at sea. From Australia we flew into Berlin to experience this fascinating city for a few days and then we took the train from there to Warnemuende. We were keen to explore the Baltic, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. We were extremely lucky with the weather. Europe enjoyed an exceptionally ...

After search for a cruise around the Baltic, we found this one and choose it for the best itinerary (it visited more ports than cruises offered by other cruise lines) and for the incredible price (less than 1000 euros per passenger). I had cruised on MSC Opera in Brazil few years ago, before its stretchening and renewal. I love this ship for its size (perfect - not so large like a floating ...

This was our first cruise and picked the ship for its Ports and Price (Having two kids 11 and 6 is was way cheaper than other cruise lines.) We had a brilliant holiday and we would not hesitate to use MSC again. Embarkations and Disembarkation was fast and stress free.On way into ship we didn't wait longer than 20 mins and coming off was a breeze ... we just strolled off. The ship was ...

6-10 Cruises

We took an 11 day cruise out of Southampton to Northern Europe on the Opera ship. We booked a suite and it was roomy, it even had a walking closet, which was great. The ship, which is about 14 years is and has never been updated was fine. Personnel did a great job keeping in clean and in good shape. Overall, the services were not disappointing, however dinner (main dining was) was. Out of the 10 ...

So there it was - Monday, the 26th - my date for boarding the MSC Opera. We travelled to Southampton Central by train, and got a taxi to ABP Southampton, where we found a massive queue to get on the ship. The lines weren't very organised (I couldn't really find where to join on), but this was not a fault with MSC and rather with Associated British Ports, so I am not taking points off for ...

Well, after booking at Thomas Cook last year, I then came home and read the reviews and wondered what I had done! After sailing on Ventura, Celebrity and Princess, I did not have high hopes about the Opera! However, we have just got back after a great time!! Remember folks, you know when you book how old the ship is, the size of the ship and rooms and what facilities it has...so don't complain it ...

My husband and I just returned from the Opera where we sailed from Amsterdam to Oslo, Stavanager, Flam and then disembarked in Bergen, Norway. We are both in are early 40s and were not travelling with our two teenagers. We arrived in Amsterdam the morning before our departure and stayed with a fantastic couple we found on airbnb.com (a site I highly recommend instead of paying super high hotel ...
