The good and the bad
"Once at the ship they were unable to process people fast enough so we spent 10 minutes on the bus waiting to line up for the ship then another 30 minutes in and out of the hot summer sun inching our way onboard.Since they would not let me schedule the massage I paid for I had to go bs k down to guest services and wait about 30 more minutes straightening this out...."Read More

The Not-So-Good Cruise Ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Musica

We are long-time cruisers and decided to take a cruise from Montevideo, Uruguay, South America to Athens. A 24 day one, longer than our usual but the price was very, very low and visited 4 countries we had never been to. The itinerary was great, and stops were largely fascinating and enjoyable. Not so our cruise ship the MSC Musica. We boarded in Montevideo and had to stand in line (yes ...

Just arrived in Buenos Aires on the MSC Musica this morning after an 8 day cruise with 3 stops in Brazil and one stop in Uruguay. This was our 7th MSC cruise and 16th cruise overall. EMBARKATION: Embarkation was pretty good. We were Aurea so had priority check in. The only problem with that is there was no priority line anywhere at any stage. We had to bring our negative Covid test, passport ...

I have been doing the Cruise yearly with the Finesse Ladies group and it's the highlight of my year! We book yearly before we get off for the following year and it's a habit that we will continue to do as long as possible! My mom passed away on the 6th February this year and I enjoyed the quiet time on the deck to make peace with the big loss I encountered! Me and my friends enjoyed all ...

our main reason for undertaking the cruise was to visit the Portuguese Island, unfortunately because of the weather we were not able to. Embarkation/Disembarkation reasonably smooth Ship - very good Cabin - Reasonable, bit small , bedding not good Dining - dinner service very good (table 625 -Mahendra and Vicky) variety/choice of foods not very good. Breakfast/Lunch not adequate ...

Worst cruise I have been on!

The boat is beautiful and the facilities good, but the catering was of the lowest standard I have even seen on any cruise. The buffet was a disaster. The cocktail were watered down and the service was poor in the deck bars. The Savannah Bar was the best bar on the boat and I enjoyed it. The casino service was non existent. As a Silver Member I was extremely disappointed in the fruit basket ...

we are black/ diamond member's with this there is supposed to be numerous privileges like free dining art a specialty restaurant for 2 PER membership card this was disputed by the management of the restaurant stating that it is only one per cabin eventually the concierge of diamond voyagers club got it through middle managements think heads that its per card, that was the first of many trips ...

Bad experience at MSC Musica

My wife and I took a Cruise at MSC Musica. RIo-Buenos Aires-Rio. After purchasing the tickets, directly with MSC, we received, on the eve of the trip, an email confirming a cabin with a balcony. We were very happy because we bought the Bingo rate and knew we could go to internal or external cabin with balcony. Confirmed that it was external, with balcony, we rejoice even more. On the day of the ...

MSC MUSICA My wife and I , together with my sister and brother-in- law , booked for the Transatlantic cruise during the month of november 2017. We booked the cruise because Kras travels (the Netherlands) offered a special promotion. We took our transatlantic cruise from Venice to Rio de Janeiro, 21 nights (12 Nov to 5Dec2017) . We actually have no complaints at all. ...

Chose this cruise for the Ports of call, and the price. We have cruised with MSC before so to an extent we knew what to expect. However, the food was even more hit and miss than we have had before. Some of our fellow passengers behaved in an incredibly arrogant manner - and unfortunately, and when it occurred, it was tantamount to intimidation and bullying at times and I encountered this ...

Good overall, but some issues

Cruised from Venice to Rio over a 3 week period. Had been to most of European ports before, but chose this cruise for the stops in Brazil. Unfortunately had to miss Fortaleza due to strong winds, and it rained most of day in Buzios. Overall we liked the ship having a comfortable balcony cabin, although the wardrobe space was a bit small. The ship was in good condition, but there were some ...
