1-10 of 20 Mediterranean MSC World Europa Mediterranean Cruise Reviews
We had never done a cruise prior to this,...ever and chose this route as we we on holiday in Italy and we could pick it up from Naples.
However we didnt want pretentiousness, exuberance and having to dress in tuxedos, cocktail dresses and and all that jazz.
We just wanted smart and simple, so our friends who cruise regularly said MSC would suit us.
It just happened to be that World ...
Nothing else then: horrible
Overcrowded places, too many people for only the few accomodations, fun pass for kids is casino to get your money, they don't put any limit on the fun pass, so after just being on the boat for a couple of hours they already went over the limit by 100€ but for the waterslides they need your signature... touristtraps all over!
The activities are overpriced, we only ...
I was scared becuse I read reviews about MSC company hereB. That's why I was constantly looking at other cruise companies.
But because of the good price and departure date, we paid for the cruise at the last minute and went for 7-night cruise form Genoa.
Until we got there, I only cared about everything I read here. Crowd, service, prices, cleanliness... I wasnt happy because I thought that ...
The World Europa is a fancy new ship that offers a lot of attractions and amenities. It is truly a very impressive, new ship. There are also a lot of very positive experiences and some great staff members. However, there are also some unbelievable bad staff members that spoil all pleasure on board. What makes it worse is that MSC seems like it does not care about customers and their feedback. It ...
I pick the cruise because the places that I want to visit, food is terrible a cafeteria can of tipe ,service suck all the standards are very low if you compare with Royal Caribbean , I travel last summer and the ship was over crowded they sale day pases on Italians ports and the ship is impossible to be lines every were and the pools are full at to the point that look to really unsafe also is a new ...
Pros:
- The ship is beautiful, with plenty of stuff to do and activities to cater to all tastes and interests.
- The LED palms in the World Promenade are great, the light show is only 5 minutes but very enjoyable.
- The specialty/premium bars (Gin Project, Elixir, Fixx Champagne Bar etc.) have a great range of drinks and ambience, fairly quiet too compared with the likes of the Dolce ...
We choose MSC for the price & destinations and we werent dissappointed. We were however disappointed with some staff not being too friendly or helpful like other cruise lines. We did back to back cruises and we seen the difference between RCC and MSC staff. I think its a language barrier or skill set? Great size cabin and always clean, we did however have issues with the bed side lamp not tunring ...
This ship was beautiful. Our room was very nicely designed with loads of storage (Two full length closets). Bathroom small but I would rather have the space in the room. Good sized balcony which we used a lot. The top sail lounge was really well done and spacious. Our club dining room was also very nice although service spotty. Food was OK and wine list limited and not great. The staff tried ...
World Europa is a beautiful ship. For its size, I was pleasantly surprised we did NO tendering. Also, you don't wait in as many lines as you might think. There are multiple venues for all types of things to do. I was also pleasantly surprised that the long (11 story?) dry slide was offered without an extra fee. The meals had fancy names in the dining room but were just average. The desserts ...
We are Americans. When we travel to Europe, we want to experience European sensibilities. Respect of different cultures, international cuisine, and the sounds of many languages. MSC has found it's niche. Great value, brand new ships, terrific variety in cuisine and a staff that is second to none.
This is our second sail thru MSC. The first was MSC Meraviglia in 2019 to Scandinavia. One ...
