Like most people we spoke to we chose this cruise because of the port stops in Alexandria, Safaga and Jordan ( Petra ) all of which were cancelled. Other cruise lines were still using these ports. Red Sea cruise
Have taken over 20 cruises including 4 with MSC but Splendida was by far the worst ship. Nothing was clean, no antibac available especially at restaurants, public bathrooms mostly had no soap or toilet roll. The cabin was clean enough but was tatty and the balcony was filthy.

I chose this ship because of the price to go to Dubai. I was very disappointed the ship is huge but not as elegant as I thought for it size.
The room was spacious but the toilet overran, shampoo container leaked into the shower, the mini refrigerator was not working they replaced it with a new one. The lighting in the room was inconsistent one very dim and one very bright.

Embarkation seemed smooth but they didn’t put our drinks package on our cruise card so had to queue again onboard ship to rectify - no apologies.
Headed up to pool deck and first thing we encounter is a pile of vomit with cones round it and most of ship cordoned off and being painted. Food in Bora Bora lacking in variety and often cold.

I went on with an open mind after reading the reviews, after a few hours the style wears off and the reality is clear.
Only a handful of staff are happy, you get told wrong information on a constant basis! You are clearly putting some out asking for service!

I have never ever experienced something so bad. MSC has so much to learn. You pay all this money and get nothing but bad, rude staff. Asked to pay extra for ALL activities.
