Sailed on Splendida before and liked the two cruises back to back out of Hamburg. Service was amazing in the Yatch Club. Sailed the Norwegian fiords 15 days then to Iceland for 11 days, could have stayed longer. The Yatch club made excursion very easy as you were escorted off and back by staff therefore bypassing all the queues. The only negative for us was that as we are Australian we only ...

We book the cruise on MSC because of the ship look nice in the pic; the route is very interesting so we book it. Before we had some cruise with NCL and Celebrity. So we can compare a little. Two facts about MSC cruises become apparent within a few hours of boarding the ship - in our case the Splendida to the Norwegian fjords. One: it is all about making money and two: the cruise is not meant for non- Europeans. Of the almost 4000 passengers aboard, about 90% were German and the rest mostly Italian and French. Embarkation at HAM which was panic, heat and confusion. Being offered to pose for a souvenir photo at the end of the ordeal was not a good idea. The cabin was great.
