We booked this cruise almost immediatly after a great experience we had with our first cruise on the MSC Lirica.

We chose this cruise because it was inexpensive. Also we had the drinks package.
This ship does not cater for English people. The cabin TV had 2 channels in English, both news channels, out of forty available.
Little things like no tea spoons in the buffet restaurant, just wooden stirers like McDonald's.
Also no brown sauce, and the wine glasses were plastic. This is not 5 star ...

Not for us, the ship is large and holds over 4000 people and at times you know this, it has many different nationals, Germans being the dominant guests. Better cruise than before, we were previously on Divina last year, MSC has pluses & minus's

First time with MSC and couldn't really fault. Great value taster cruise from Hamburg to Southampton on an "All Inclusive" basis.
Ship is large and well laid out. Plenty of space and nowhere seemed too busy.
Staff were friendly and attentive. Never had to ask to order drinks, they were on hand throughout.
Fine dining was OK and buffet very good for choice.

Just returned from cruise with MSC Splendida (Hamburg - Orkney Islands, Iceland, Loch Ness, Amsterdam (was changed to Rotterdam the night before arrival)). Nice Ship and impressing shows at the theatre, but that is the almost the only nice we can say.
