My boyfriend and I went on the msc cruise last January. It was an overall lovely experience but the negative parts of the trip had an effect on the overall enjoyment of the trip. Positives: - Cabin: our cabin faced the sea and was beautiful. Clean and neat. Personally the best part of the trip. - Room service: the breakfast options were very good and enjoyable. - Buffett: the ...

Check in was drawn out - Computers kept going offline and dragging out the already drawn out process. Food was utterly AWEFUL (vastly different from when we went in 2013), really - a HUGE disappointment! There was only ONE late night food option: (pizza - what there WAS of it) and a la carte dining was totally pathetic. The "beverage books" that we bought were a joke! You had to purchase a ...

Chose the cruise because it was going to destinations which were favourable. First of all, foor a month of travelling, the luggage allowance was not enough as allowed by the air line. Hotel stay in Durban was excellent. The ship' entertainment was good, although quite short. The entertaining team were friendly and tried their best to get guests involved in activities. Crew were ...

We picked this cruise because of the Ports of call, We had 3 days of in Durban before joining the ship. The first port was Reunion followed by Mauritius, Seychelles,Jordan, 2 days thru the Suez canal, On to Greece, Kotor, Split, Ending in Venice. As you can see the ports are the reason we booked the cruise. After reading lots of reviews about MSC, which WHERE NOT ALWAYS GREAT, We decided to ...

From arriving at the port up and until disembarkation, it was an amazing experience! The buffet meals were always freshly and well-prepared and readily available. The restaurant staff were professional and friendly and our waiter could explain every dish on the menu. He kept us informed about speciality drinks and attended to our table's every whim without flinching. The coffee bar was the place ...

I love traveling, adventure and having fun. Embarkation was really amazing, we came late and the crew managed to wait for us for an extra hour and I'm still grateful for that. When we entered the ship it was soo big and beautiful. We got a little motion sickness and it made us feel dizzy so we decided to go lie down but eventually mastered it and we were walking like pro's. Our cabin was ...

Invited by a group of friends who had enjoyed the experience before. What a pleasure to find out that it was so affordable and we had the opportunity to pay off the trip in advance, Firstly - Hats off to Allison, the cruise consultant. Very patient. Embarkation. Organised, but long queues. Music in the background definitely helps the time pass. Maybe if the entertainment committee could ...

Information regarding where to eat and what items could be ordered was not sufficiently provided for breakfast and lunch. Food especially breakfast was of a poor standard, repetitive and tasteless. No variety at all, food ran out a lot and took too long to replenish. Tried to order an omelette on the first day of the cruise, was told by the waiter this was not possible as the restaurant was ...

It was our first cruise; we thought it was luxurious and senior citizen/disabled friendly - we met old ladies who were over 80 years of age. It inspired us, as one has the idea that after 70 it would be difficult to travel on holidays, etc. but It gave us new hope for our future holidays...! Food was excellent and service outstanding. Thank you! Cabin was cleaned regularly and towels were ...
