We embarked on 27th October 23 in Marseille. On arriving at 11am at port we were surprised to find the ship wasn't there, our booking only showed sailing at 6pm so a little surprised, however it arrived at 12pm and we checked in Yacht Club desk shortly after and were on board at 1.30pm in time for lunch. Only as we decided not to wait for a butler incase we missed out. This was our 5th Yacht Club ...
Seashore is very dirty, full of soot/ tar. We have videos and we like that people can see this. MSC is pretending that the Seashore is a very clean ship, it’s not and we can prove that. We are not the only ones with complains!
We still do get money from MSC, we have still got money on the account, but MSC is not paying automatically paying back our own money. It’s for 9 weeks ago we did ask our ...
We were looking for a repositionig cruise to celebrate our retirement. We pre-ordered a bottle of champagne to be in our room for our departure but there was none. We finaly called the front desk by 7:00 pm and were told they would not be able to deliver it till tomorrow evening? It just set off the rest of the cruise .The Buffet was a repetion of the same thing every day .I think they used ...
Ok, So this was my 1st time cruising on a MSC ship. Since I am handicapped, I tend to stick withe the known. But I decided to try something new.
1st: The Boat - The boat was very nice, almost to the point of being beautiful. Much better than some other lines
The elevators: functioned well, BUT the doors close way too fast. If you are in a wheelchair, by the time you ...
This cruise took my wife and me to several ports in the Med, two Canary Islands, three Caribbean ports, Miami, and finally Cape Canaveral.
The ship is beautiful, really nice.
The experience was mediocre to terrible. The first leg from Rome to Barcelona (nine days) saw us going through the large 'cafeteria' deck looking for plates, glasses, and utensils for lunch. Scores of passengers were ...
This is my first and last time on MSC. I'm just seriously disappointed.
The ship was beautiful, but that's where the good part stopped.
Except for our server in the dining room and our room attendant, the service was poor and mostly nonexistent. The vast majority are definitely not friendly and not trying to help you.
Good luck finding soap in the public restrooms - very surprising, ...
This cruise was our 9th cruise & the 2nd MSC cruise having previously cruised on the MSC Musica. The ship itself was magnificent & very modern & clean but that's where the good news finished. Overall the cruise was not up the level of previous cruises:
Firstly the food selection was ordinary. It seems the staple selection was soup, pasta, burgers & hot dogs. The daily selection of other food ...
Overall ship is nice, but that about it.
They are definitely short on stuff. Long wait at any bar, bartenders very very slow. Food in the buffet for breakfast the same every day lunch may change a little, but not much. The only good service we get at the dinner. All food tasteless. Ether no salt or over salt. No flavor. Don’t think they ever taste what they serve. Show at night at most nights ...
I wouldn't consider going on another MSC cruise even if you paid me. The entire experience was dreadful, reminiscent of constant 'hurry up and wait.' However, the pinnacle of disappointment was on the last day. We were rudely awakened by staff at 6:45 AM, demanding we vacate our cabin by 7:30 AM to facilitate room turnovers. Then, we endured a torturous four-hour wait in line on the boat just to ...
While the ship builders aced building monsters to accommodate so many people, service lags way behind. The room was spacious, there was a pretty impressive spa on the ship, if you're into different saunas, whirlpools and even a snow room... Gym was also very big and well equipped. But everything else was mediocre at best.
Endless lines for food and even elevators. These elevators are so modern, ...
