We have worse experience with this cruise. Poor service. Staff is irresponsible. No entertainment in this cruise. No entertainment for children. Pool water is not cleaned.. Indian food quality is very poor. Room service no one picked up the call in reception.we booked a private photoshoot between the time 8 to 8:30 pm but we got only 5 minutes late and photographer went to do the private photoshoot ...

The worse cruise we have done

We had a great cruise last October with MSC orchestra. So we're really pleased to be able to book the seashore as it is their newest boat. Such a shame that our experience was not a good one. If we had not had a good experience before with MSC we would not book with then again The service in all of the bars we tried was extremely slow and waiters were not making eye contact and looking for ...

Never Again with MSC. Yacht Club Mediocre

The Seashore is a beautiful ship but MSC is not a line for luxury or service even in the Yacht Club. Sailing on MSC would be intolerable without the YC though. The rest of the ship was crowded, over run by teenagers and young kids. But Beware: babies and young children are allowed in the YC. It is not relaxing with crying infants and ill behaved children running around. Seashore staff are ...

Mostly Italians, screaming kids and teens with a cafeteria food

7 day Mediterranean cruise from Rome I measured mostly Italians, smattering of EU and few Americans and Asians. Lots of screaming kids and perfect teen bods in the elevator. So if you’re an overweight American you will feel out of place here. Solace seekers this ain’t your ship too. Huge ship packed full of people who drives like they walk to get food. My tea was knocked out of my hands ...

Beautiful ship with chaos

Good value! This ship is gorgeous with the best entertainment ever in the theater every night of the cruise. They speak multiple languages on the ship and we had a good time. The buffet is to be avoided at peak times with hordes of people, out of silverware and plates and cups and glasses! No hot milk for coffee or tea except for breakfast. Coffee can run cold most of the time. No ...

shore excursion cancellation policy

MSC’s policy is you have to cancel a shore excursion 48 hours in advance. Thursday evening I tried to cancel excursion for Saturday because thunderstorms are predicted in Genoa and we have a four hour walking tour. They refused to cancel the tour or refund our excursion because only 36 hours away instead of 48 hours. MSC policy is that they never cancel tour because of rain or thunderstorms ...

When the profit is the only thing... The room smells bad for the cruise duration and they didn't manage to resolve it. The ship is almost all cabin to maximize the profit and it ended that we had to stay in line for everything, especially the buffet, a nightmare. The staff is not efficient, you have to struggle to find a waiter to make an order and we had to call to have the room cleaned ...

We were a group of 15 and chose this cruise as it seemed to offer good value, sailing from Valencia at the right time of year. It would probably not have been my first choice because of its size: just under 6,000 passengers. Unfortunately my fears were proved justified. The Seashore is an impressive ship, but the organisation on board was terrible. They are severely understaffed, particularly ...

The MSC Seashore cruise was offering a 5 days cruise through the Mediterranean from Genova to Rome, Napels and Corsica and return to Genova. It is a brand new ship, huge, many restaurants, lounges, atrium, shops, special lights, elevators on the back with a view. We were/ are very impressed! There are several drinking plans. For us the easy plus, so all drinks to 9 euro. Good, no ...

First cruise on the MSC Seashore after the peak of the Covid-19 period in the Mediterranean

Our experience with the MSC Seashore with Aurea experience and additional Premium drink package. Cabin number 15257. Departure Oct. 3rd 2021 from Genova, Italy. We are a couple aged 55-60 years. We had organised a day in Genova before boarding to avoid possible mistakes or delays what might jeopardize our start of the Cruise. We were lucky. We had nice weather and no issues with our flight and ...
