Just OK
"We might have expected a little more from a European line as we were really hoping to be wowed by the food. While the ship offered a wonderful itinerary overall the cruise itself was just ok...."Read More

Absolutely Appalling.

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We booked the world cruise for 116 nights but are home now after the horror show put up by this cruise company. We decided to come back in 80days because, the ship kept on running out of food. No choice for vegetarians except for salad (which is good for cows not human being). Ran out of fruit juices. Cancelled 10ports. Food if ever it was available it was inedible as it was under cooked. ...

Pros are supposed to go before cons, so I will put the positives first, but please don’t miss the negatives later in this review, because although there were a few redeeming qualities, make no mistake, I would never sail with MSC again. First positive, all the staff below the managerial level deserve to be commended for being true, if not powerless, delights. We had many wonderful interactions ...

Please never book MSC

If I could give no stars I would. I joined a world cruise with MSC and have had nothing but frustration and grievances. If you are a parent I highly suggest considering another cruise line. A child was assaulted by an adult passenger and when the parents filed a complaint after bringing him to the medical center, nothing was done but a warning. The baby pool on the cruise was under maintenance ...

We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available ...

WORSE WORLD CRUISE EVER- MSC IS THE WORST CRUISE COMPANY

We are currently on this terrible cruise Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us. 1. So many sea days Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees. As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...

MSC said the ship was refurbished in 2023 and they must be talking about the exterior of the ship. The public stairs lot dated with the teal and chocolate motif. The cabins are either navy or bordello red. The furniture in the cabin is worn, sun bleached and dated, think 90’s. Dining options are limited. There is the main dining room offering a selection of reoccurring average to say the best ...

The Potential to Be Better is There but MSC Must Not care???

We sailed on MSC Seaside in Feb of 2020 and it was a great experience so we were looking forward to our Cruise booked on Poesia. We chose this one as it had a very nice itinerary. The ship was beautiful and well taken care of. The potential is really there but it seems as if MSC does not care. I am sure I am not the first person to list the shortcomings on their survey as they were apparent ...

This was our first time on MSC cruise we were very disappointed. Route was excellent but, customer service & room location was absolutely awful! 1.Beware to ship does not provide facial tissues in the room & no bath robe!! When we stopped by customer reception desk asked about no facial tissue in the room they looked at me like what are you asking…. After explaining when I needed they ...

Failure to complete the planned route and failure to provide compensation for this. The ship did not dock in Bisby due to "weather conditions" even though other cruise lines' ships did dock. Instead of changing the route or giving compensation to the passengers, the company just wasted another day on the open sea. This route is really not worth it and a waste of time. The food in the restaurant ...

20 day Northern Cruise-wonderful scenery

Our 20 day cruise went as high as illulisat Greenland with scenery or amount of Icebergs I was not expecting. The ship is old yes but extremely clean and well presented. We had cabin which was your usual balcony cabin layout. The surprise was having a kettle in the cabins to make your tea or coffee anytime. No USB ports in the cabin which is almost unforgiving these days. Food was extensive in ...
