we went for a cruise with msc orchestra to the French Antiles. We had a great time. The staff was verry friendly, they spoke french/ englisch/ spanisch/italian,.... The cabins were clean the beds confortable and the housekeeper was verry helpfull with all we asked. The food was mostly average to good. we didn't expect more than we got. The shows where verry professional en ...

We have cruised with many cruise lines and this was by far the worst experience. you were not even allowed to take on board water or soft drinks. you had to pay for almost everything. the service was awful and slow. the food was average and the buffet was only warm with pasta, pizza, burgers etc. the ship looks wonderful but a lot of the ship was reserved for select passengers. I would ...

we went on this cruise thinking it was wheelchair friendly the staff were very rude the only person that helped us was the cleaner I had to get my partner off the ship by myself twice as there was no one to help nearly lost him overboard.the lifejacket drill was a joke, when you hear a certain noise you must go to your cabin an retrieve your life jacket do not use the lift then she spotted my ...

Last time with MSC

This was our 2nd cruise with MSC, having previously sailed on the Divina from Miami around the Caribbean in early 2014. We were attracted to the port intensive itinerary with no full sea days throughout the whole 14 day cruise. Embarkation in Barbados was rather unusual in that there was no one from MSC to greet us upon arrival at the Port building and none of the usual queues of people expected ...

Upon arrival, after travelling more than 15 hours, we were constantly harassed by employees from MSC to sell beverage and other packages before allowing us to check-in. The check-in was very brief and we were given almost no information at all. Therefore we did not realy feel welcome, only a number. Travelling with our parents we found a note in the cabin that there was a problem with the ...

Nice Cruise

The ship is nice and the balcony cabines are looking good also. The food was low cost quality. The strongest point of this cruise was the staff, with special remarks for Miguel, the waiter in cigar bar. Ship and entertainment information are delived on board daily. Trips organized are expensive and is better to do your own programm on each stop, according to your ...

We were four of a group of 13. Port was a nightmare when we arrived and staff ranged from bothered to outright rude. This includes talking about passengers behind their backs like they were idiots. Nothing about boarding was well marked, efficient, or pleasant. Even when I beamed a smile and thanked them and wished them a wonderful day. Our dining group got split into different times and dining ...

We just returned from an Eastern Caribbean cruise aboard the MSC Orchestra and had a fantastic time. The ship is absolutely beautiful and we found the service to be courteous and friendly without being overbearing. This was our first cruise with MSC and we read many of the negative reviews prior to our cruise. We went with open minds and we had a wonderful time during our cruise. Embarkation ...

Ok, we just came back from the MSC Orchestra Caribbean cruise and I must say it was fantastic! What a great time and what a great ship! All those who have complained about the food, service, friendliness, etc. of the ship, I am not sure if you were sailing on the same boat as the rest of us. I would tend to agree with a few of the other critics here that the rudest people I encountered were the ...

MSC Orchestra Hits a Sour Note

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Orchestra

First let me say that as a family having cruised many times on Royal Caribbean we may have set our expectations too high for this particular cruiseline. We had read numerous reviews prior to departing and decided not to cancel and go with an open mind. I'm still not convinced that was a great idea. There were four in our party, my wife and I, and our sixteen year old daughter and thirteen year ...
