1-10 of 12 MSC Musica Cruise Reviews for Family Cruises to South America
I have been doing the Cruise yearly with the Finesse Ladies group and it's the highlight of my year! We book yearly before we get off for the following year and it's a habit that we will continue to do as long as possible!
My mom passed away on the 6th February this year and I enjoyed the quiet time on the deck to make peace with the big loss I encountered!
Me and my friends enjoyed all ...
The boat is beautiful and the facilities good, but the catering was of the lowest standard I have even seen on any cruise. The buffet was a disaster. The cocktail were watered down and the service was poor in the deck bars. The Savannah Bar was the best bar on the boat and I enjoyed it.
The casino service was non existent. As a Silver Member I was extremely disappointed in the fruit basket ...
our main reason for undertaking the cruise was to visit the Portuguese Island, unfortunately because of the weather we were not able to.
Embarkation/Disembarkation reasonably smooth
Ship - very good
Cabin - Reasonable, bit small , bedding not good
Dining - dinner service very good (table 625 -Mahendra and Vicky) variety/choice of foods not very good. Breakfast/Lunch not adequate ...
we are black/ diamond member's
with this there is supposed to be numerous privileges like free dining art a specialty restaurant for 2 PER membership card this was disputed by the management of the restaurant stating that it is only one per cabin eventually the concierge of diamond voyagers club got it through middle managements think heads that its per card, that was the first of many trips ...
MSC MUSICA
My wife and I , together with my sister and brother-in- law , booked for the Transatlantic cruise during the month of november 2017.
We booked the cruise because Kras travels (the Netherlands) offered a special promotion.
We took our transatlantic cruise from Venice to Rio de Janeiro, 21 nights (12 Nov to 5Dec2017) .
We actually have no complaints at all. ...
My wife and I took a Cruise at MSC Musica. RIo-Buenos Aires-Rio. After purchasing the tickets, directly with MSC, we received, on the eve of the trip, an email confirming a cabin with a balcony. We were very happy because we bought the Bingo rate and knew we could go to internal or external cabin with balcony. Confirmed that it was external, with balcony, we rejoice even more. On the day of the ...
We decided on this cruise because we have never been to South America. Rio and Buenos Aries were exotic cities that we were interested in seeing.
They are both wonderful cities with much to explore.
The difficulties started when we arrived at the embarkation port at 1/pm the published time. On most other lines boarding starts perhaps two hours earlier and the flow of passengers is ...
My wife wanted to go to Rio de Janeiro for our anniversary. I always wanted to go to Buenos Aires. Only one cruiseline gave us both with significant time in Rio on the dates near our anniversary plus a stop at Punta del Este, Uruguay - MSC. So, I researched MSC very thoroughly both on this board and elsewhere. Thanks to everyone who provided information like boardmember woodofpine (see his helpful ...
Venice to Rio
Start: Booked hotel with MSC in Venice for the night before the cruse. Great hotel only it was a £40.00 return trip into Venice by taxi and we did not see much of the city as it was night time by the time the reception checked us in. Oh so slow... Would suggest you book your own flight and hotel to Venice as we paid £300 for this privilege and could have got closer and better ...
THE SHIP: Getting on board the MSC Musica is a marvelous experience. The ship lives up to the promise of the travel brochures. It is B E A U T I F U L! It is a monument of thoughtful design and ergonomics, and by some standards even good (though some may find it garish) taste. The state rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Passengers may wander freely, from the fifth floor reception ...
