"The bottom line is that whatever line you are on there are sometimes issues, would we go on another MSC cruise? The only negatives were the pre-cruise communications from MSC corporate and the lack of signage at Port Miami, ship was in a different terminal and parking was a bit complicated...."Read More

1-10 of 176 MSC Meraviglia Cruise Reviews for First-Time Cruisers Cruises to the Western Caribbean
Free casino voucher ..upgraded to Auria pkg.. Since booked pre covid kept a lot of perks that have been done away with since restart. Sailed out of port Canaveral Florida.
Had one of the best cabins on the ship. was great for viewing the lighthouse show on the private island.. Front of ship starboard side right hand side underneath the bridge.
We had a separate bedroom and living room, ...
Buffet food was terrible and the food was only slightly better in the 2 specialty restaurants we tried. Bread served in the dining room was stale on two different visits. The pasta sauce was more like tomato soup. Fish dishes were either cold or over cooked. Room service food: A. Dried hash brown just like the one at the buffet. B. Strange looking and tasting scramble egg also like the ...
MSC Meraviglia March 20-27, 2022
We had high hopes for this family cruise for eight people that was rescheduled due to the pandemic. A pre-pandemic cruise on the MSC Davina was lovely and problem free. We also sail three times per year on Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian so we can compare with informed minds. While we could find some positives, the negatives far outweighed them ...
I'm writing this review to offer the perspective of someone who has previously sailed with MSC and enjoyed it. I've sailed with Carnival Royal Caribbean and MSC. My prior two MSC sailings (Divina and Seaside) were my favorite cruises.
I see lots of reviews that are from people who took their first cruise with MSC and compare it to their personal favorite line, so I'm hoping there's value in a ...
7th cruise we've been on and 1st with MSC. The other cruises we were on (HAL, NCL, RC and celebrity) were very enjoyable experiences but this cruise has put me off. Obviously never cruising with MSC again, but it may be a while before we cruise again after this experience.
- Check in person took 30mins to sort out our room keys and we still couldn't get on the ship and had to wait with ...
We absolutely loved Meraviglia and the itinerary! We were on the 7 night which went to Ocean Cay, Costa Maya and Cozumel.
Check in and Covid testing was a breeze prior to boarding. We arrived late due to flight delays and ended up at the port after 2pm. We were the ONLY people at check in!! Got tested, got checked in and boarded within 20 minutes. Easiest ever. Found out there were only 450 ...
This was a solo cruise I chose primarily because MSC did not charge a supplement for cruising solo. The cruise was excellent and probably in the top 3 of 20 cruises taken in the last 35 years. There were less than 500 passengers on board a ship that holds 4500+, so it was like having a semi private cruise.
The ship is beautiful and I found the food, entertainment and service comparable to or ...
There were only 482 passengers on a ship that holds 5300, so most times it felt like you were on a ghost ship. We were required to undergo a covid test at the port as well as having one done prior to the cruise. The ship was beautiful and the staff friendly. Covid protocols were strictly here’d to including masks and daily temperature checks.
Food on msc is fair at best. A lot of repeat dishes, ...
After cruising on the MSC Divina a couple months earlier, we tried cruising on the Meraviglia; in fact we booked three more cruises on the newer, larger Meraviglia. Especially with the cancellation policy allowing cancellation just 48 hours before sailing we felt quite comfortable. Upon arrival everything was very simple and we were on the ship very quickly without a hitch. From the earlier MSC ...
I am an experienced cruiser, with over 25 cruises taken. However, most of them were taken during the time period 1980-2010. I have only started cruising again recently, and this was my first post-Covid cruise. Times sure have changed!
The cruises I remember from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s were much more formal, much more adult oriented, had much better food and much better entertainment. ...
