Buffet food was terrible and the food was only slightly better in the 2 specialty restaurants we tried. Bread served in the dining room was stale on two different visits. We had high hopes for this family cruise for eight people that was rescheduled due to the pandemic. A pre-pandemic cruise on the MSC Davina was lovely and problem free. 7th cruise we've been on and 1st with MSC. The other cruises we were on (HAL, NCL, RC and celebrity) were very enjoyable experiences but this cruise has put me off. Obviously never cruising with MSC again, but it may be a while before we cruise again after this experience.

We absolutely loved Meraviglia and the itinerary! We were on the 7 night which went to Ocean Cay, Costa Maya and Cozumel.
Check in and Covid testing was a breeze prior to boarding. We arrived late due to flight delays and ended up at the port after 2pm. We were the ONLY people at check in!! Got tested, got checked in and boarded within 20 minutes. Easiest ever. Found out there were only 450 ...

This was a solo cruise I chose primarily because MSC did not charge a supplement for cruising solo. The cruise was excellent and probably in the top 3 of 20 cruises taken in the last 35 years. There were less than 500 passengers on board a ship that holds 4500+, so it was like having a semi private cruise.

There were only 482 passengers on a ship that holds 5300, so most times it felt like you were on a ghost ship. We were required to undergo a covid test at the port as well as having one done prior to the cruise.The ship was beautiful and the staff friendly.
