My wife and I embarked the Magnifica on 5/10. Prior to our trip, I was able to upgrade to the Aurea level with a spacious room, large balcony and access to the Top 16 deck which was private. Towel service, excellent bar and bar staff. Especially Febry from Indonesia, Elvis from Kenya and Jeff from Roatan made our trip fantastic. We have done a Christmas cruise on Carnival and RCCL, so we thought we would give it a try on MSC as well. We have been on four other MSC ships (Seaside, Seashore, Meravigilia and Divina). It was the first world cruise for msc. we had done two other world cruises with holland america and costa cruise. When we compered the msc cruise with the other two was very poor in several areas.
