Best Cruise Ever

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Divina

The MSC Divina is an older ship, but very well maintained and beautiful. We decided to splurge on the Yacht Club on the MSC Divina. We are so glad we did. From the check in to debarkation we were treated like VIP's, but not in an uncomfortable way. Every crew member in the Yacht Club greeted us warmly each and every time we saw them and were always offering ways to make our cruise an enjoyable ...

Divina Exceeded Expectations -- 12 Night Panama Cruise

First of all, I'll say what Divina is not. It is certainly NOT the prettiest or flashiest ship I've ever sailed on. It does NOT have the huge WOW factor that so many of today's mega-ships provide. It is NOT the freshest most up-to-datest vessel afloat, and in fact, much of the ship looks like it is somewhat past ready for a visit to dry dock, a fact especially noticeable in hallways and ...

Wonderful Cruise and Staff

This was our second MCS cruise and it didn’t disappoint! Great crew, food, shows and ports! I loved the SPA and got several massages. Also used the laundry service and it was excellent! Going on another MSC this month. The only news channel was CNN and we did not like this. Don’t understand why they would only have them. Many others also made comments about this. Really not enough time to ...

Review of the annual Holistic Cruise from Feb. 21 - 28th. No, I'm not Holistic, see last paragraph. My 1st MSC Cruise was the 11 night over New Years. We had so much fun (see that review) that we had to go again before the ship left the U.S. this March for a year. I have to be honest, I picked the Divina again because I've never in our previous 10 cruises seen any ship have the quality of ...

11 days on the MSC DIVINA

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

This was our 3rd winter in a row sailing on the Divina and 4th on MSC. In past reviews some folks were put off by "all of the foreigners on board" but they seem to be catering more so to Americans as the years progress At least this was our experience, this being the 3rd yr in a row on this ship out of Miami. There was Trivia 2X a day, in English, other than important safety type ...

My wife and I have been on eight cruises. This was our third New Year’s Eve cruise and first MSC. This was the most fun cruise we've ever been on. A little disappointed with the service, but more than made up by the activities, great, great entertainment, including the best band I've ever seen on a cruise, The Soul Solutions. The disco and karaoke in the Galaxy lounge, '60s, '70s & '80s night and ...

Love Ocean Cay

We chose this cruise primarily to visit ocean cay and were not disappointed. We were one of the first ships to visit this little gem and I look forward to going again. The new construction look will soften as the plantings take root, and I expect the few bugs at some of the venues will be worked out quickly. The next time we go, I will be packing kites. The breezes are wonderful, ample room to ...

First Solo Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

I chose this cruise for the itinerary, the price, and the ship. It was my first Solo cruise. It was my first Balcony cabin. It was my 4th cruise ever. The end of October I sailed on Royal Caribbean, Empress of the Seas. The things I really liked about MSC Davina: it is a beautiful ship, the staff is kind and helpful, the food was always good, the shows were always entertaining, there are ...

Yacht Club is the way to go!

We did this cruise back to back with the previous TransAtlantic cruise for a total of 31 nights. This cruise though we did in the Yacht Club. It is the way to go. A totally different experience in the ship within a ship concept. Loved the Top Sail Lounge and the high tea and the nightly music. The cabins are spacious. Butler service and great concierge. Daily newspaper. Private restaurant. ...

This was our third time on the MSC Divina. As always we were pleased with our cruise. We were pleased enough with our cruise that we gave deposits towards a future cruise. Some differences that we noticed...MSC has changed some of the packages and ways of doing business. Some changes were positive but some were less interesting. Nothing major to report or complain about but we did hear rumors ...
