Nice cruise but ship has mold issues
"- The whole bar setup was confusing: there was no way to know what kind of drinks were available at each bar, without getting in the long line and waiting for your turn.- There was no coffee or tea available in main dining room to finish the dinner...."Read More

MSC is different, but that's not a bad thing

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

The wife and I took our 10th anniversary cruise (and first cruise ever) on the MSC Divina. We were originally going to try Virgin, as the kiddos were staying home with the grands for this one, but by the time we booked Scarlet Lady was full. MSC caught our attention from YouTube and online research. The price point was hard to beat and we weren't looking for a megaship for our first time out so ...

Fun Experience on the Divina!

I am struggling with understanding the incessant negative reviews of the Divina. I took a 4-night sailing to the Bahamas and had a wonderful experience. I am a solo female traveler. I initially booked Bella interior guarantee and was upgraded to a junior balcony on deck 9 at no cost. Embarkation was incredibly smooth, from dropping my suitcase with the porter to getting on the ship was less than ...

We picked this cruise because of price and timing, and we had cruised on this ship when it arrive in the USA the first time. We wanted to see if it was still as pretty as it was in 2012 and as fast and quite and it was. engine and ride is so smooth sometimes you don't know you are moving. Entertainment costumes were great on main stage, women singers out performed the men, they might need to ...

Surprisingly good after reading reviews

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

The reviews had me very nervous about MSC Divina, but the naysayers were wrong. We had a very good experience on this ship and found the staff, food, and overall experience to be way above what others have said. First, the most common complaints are about things beyond MSC’s control. The cruise line can’t control the rudeness of guests, nor can they control the way the Greek government runs ...

Great service

We joined 400 dancers on the cruise for Dance Academy Tour. It was our first cruise, and I must say that the service was exquisite. We lost our cruise card multiple times, yet we could ask for a new one at the desk at any moment in time. Our room was cleaned twice a day, everything worked perfectly and the staff was polite all the time. We had the same person cleaning our room each day and it ...

Still one of my favorite ships!

This was my 3rd time on Divina, all solo cruises. It's a good size: not too big, not too small, and you can always find a quiet spot to yourself or a lounge chair somewhere. I chose this one yet again because they were advertising a GREAT sale for solo cruisers! ** Thank you MSC!!! ** - And actually I did the 4-night starting on April 10, 2023 (Nassau and Ocean Cay) plus this 7-night back to ...

MSC Divina: Food: buffet and MDR food were on par with other cruise lines, pizza was amazing! all other past reviews of bad food I did not find. good selection on the buffet, MDR food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Cabin: Interior cabin, no problems, what you would expect. Entertainment: production shows were very strange; singers and dancers very professional, hit every note and ...

I have cruised on 8 cruise lines, over 35 cruises and wanted to try an M.S.C. to compare. I see where many people give M.S.C.Divina poor to average reviews, Well mine was a 4 day Bahama cruise out of Miami. On a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being poor and 5 being excellent I give M.S.C.Divina a 4 rating. The shows were excellent, My inside cabin was as good as any of the inside cabins i have had on other ...

After reading all the negative reviews for the MSC Divina in the Caribbean I was very concerned for our first trip with MSC. We have been on NCL and RC several times each. Most of our fears were alleviated upon getting on the ship and experiencing the super friendly customer service – in fact, just based on friendliness MSC is amazing. The Good: Our stateroom – we had a two-room suite so we ...
