Yacht Club Deluxe Suite (YC1) Cabin Reviews

Sail Date: July 2019
The YC Deluxe cabin 16026 was nicely furnished and quite spacious. It was clean. It is a shame that Msc’s new ships do not have walk-in-closets in YC cabins like on Fantasia-Class, but generally I am satisfied with the cabin.

Excellent! Spacious, modern, great storage, comfortable bedding with optional pillow menu. The bathroom was the best I've ever seen for the money we paid. Frankly, this product leaves the other cruise companies floundering when it comes to value-for-money. As an example, I've paid the same money to cruise on Azamara and been assigned a cabin with a shower that would barely fit a large child. On Meraviglia, there was room to dance around the shower cubicle if you were so inclined (I resisted!). Read Less

The cabin was 24 square metres, as opposed to the 16 square metres we'd originally booked. The bathroom shower was adequarely sized and the water pressure was just fine. The bed was very comfortable and the lounge was a comfortable space for sitting. The balcony had a table and 2 chairs with enough space to utilise them properly. There was actually nothing that I could fault with the cabin. Read Less

Spacious! We were amazed by the size of the cabin. The largest cabin we ever had on a cruise ship. It has a contemporary design, with everything you need to have in a luxury room. There is enough closet space. The beds are excellent, we slept very well when the sea was not to rough. The LCD television was very large but unfortunately, there is no HDMI connection available, so you cannot connect it with your tablet or computer. The minibar was stocked twice a day and had water, soft drinks, beers, spirits, nuts and crisps, all complementary. There are four different types of glasses and a cooler with ice cubes. There is alao a Nespresso machine and 4 espresso capsules, sugar and milk. A free printed newspaper of our choice was hung at our cabin door every morning. The balcony was not very spacious, but was large enough for two chairs and a small table. Read Less

We stayed in a Yacht Club Deluxe cabin which was huge. It had a minibar of drinks and snacks (such as chocolate peanuts!) which were included and refilled twice-daily. We also had a welcome bottle of prosecco on ice and a fruit bowl that was filled up whenever anything was running low. We had bathrobes and slippers and plenty of toiletries which were lovely. The balcony wasn't very deep but very wide so there was plenty of room to sit and have a drink or read a book. The balcony furniture consisted of 2 chairs and a footstool with clear glass frontage. The cabin also had a Nespresso coffee machine which we didn't really use as our butler provided us with tea and coffee if we asked. The bed was absolutely amazing. So comfortable and I had the best sleep I have ever had which was enhanced by the choice of pillows that the butler brought to our cabin. The cabin was also pitch black when the curtains were shut. The TV had a range of pay movies and the only English language channels were Euronews, CNN and Sky News. Read Less

My 'MSC Yacht Club Deluxe Suite' #008 on deck 14 on the starboard side had a king size double bed with bedside tables. I slept well on the bed, the stateroom was quiet, no annoying loudspeaker announcements. There was furthermore a couch with table, closets, commode and stool, a safe for valuables, a digital phone with big display, a coffee machine and a minibar stocked with water, refreshment and alcoholic drinks as well as some snacks. There were sockets for EU and US plugs, and one for charging with an USB cable, but none of them at the bed. Sufficient storage was available for clothes and baggage. Lots of TV channels were offered in many different languages on a giant screen, but 'MSC Meraviglia' does not offer a moving map with position and other nautical information of the ship, I had to use online services and the GPS function of my smartphone. Bathroom with shower, rain shower and gel dispensers, as well as a clothesline, big mirror, toilet, washbasin and towels. Many toiletries were provided. The big balcony had 2 chairs without foldable backrest and a stool, the weekly cleaning was announced on the evening before. Stateroom cleaning was carried out twice a day. The usually 6-page and closely printed, well into German language translated planner 'Daily Program' with all necessary information was delivered to the stateroom every day, but was also available in other languages at the 'Reception Guest Service'. Security information on the stateroom door, next to the innovative electronic 'Do Not Disturb' button system and the air conditioner thermostat. Read Less
