"Casablanca & Rabat was a full 11 hour day which included an excellent lunch at the Movenpick in Casablanca, it was about £110 but was a great day with an excellent guide and was worth the cost, some guests had taken the MSC shuttle bus tour which cost €30 but took them to the Mosque after it was closed and basically drove around Casablanca with no commentary, so this is one to avoid.Aix-en-Provence was an easy 30 minute drive from Marseilles but was disappointing, just another busy town, albeit a pretty one, perhaps we had been spolit by Casablanca and Funchal?..."Read More

1-10 of 188 Mediterranean MSC Magnifica Mediterranean Cruise Reviews
I can only say if I could I would vote a minus. The food is appalling if you want to lose weight then book with msc even top staff asked us to write a bad review about the food the staff can’t wait to Get ashore for something to eat. No kettle in the room. Dress sense is out of the window. I met a man who had done 31 cruises and this was worst. The only saving grace was the amazing staff they are ...
Booked this cruise just a few days before the sailing as a spontaneous way of returning to the states rather than flying. We’d sailed with MSC many times but not since 2016. I don’t know where you could find such horrible poor quality food. I spotted the executive chef onboard and asked why he allows such embarrassingly bad food and his response was a little shocking. He said,”when we get to ...
We chose this cruise because of the price; the adage you get what you pay for was very true. I have been on over 50 cruises on 8 different cruise lines and found that this cruise was the bottom of the barrel.I may be jaded but the entertainment, dining experience, attitude of the suits(upper command),and all around demeanor of the crew was terrible. On a very positive note the cabin steward as ...
Well let me just say , I will never again cruise MSC . Had I known it was an Italian based ship I would have never, first of all if your an American you are already going to be treated some time of way ! The food was horrible no selection and this ship has no alternative restaurant but a sushi one which was never open ! The ice machines were broke the whole trip it was hot and sticky and very ...
I give 10 points to wayan dharma k. dining services, he made our dinners special and fun and 10 points nathan paul asst. Waiter of servis in restaurant, his job was excellent.
I give 10 points to shuriana cabin steward , he was very friendly and attentive the entire cruise.
I give 10 points to rocio , bag store saleswoman, she was very professional, polite and nice.
I didn´t like the ...
Family reunion booked with my sister! I have been to over 60 cruises escorting groups or for my pleasure:two many people of over 5,000 on board. They are not organized and they seems not to care.
Big line ups at the buffets station including ice cream and very noisy, bad service there as well to clean the tables.
. Not a chance to get chairs on the open deck all week at 9:00, no where!,, ...
Overall, the cruise was exceptional for the amount of money charged. We especially liked the shore excursions which were made possible by staff member, Aimane Buhamza. He managed to secure us 3 spots on the long sold-out “Christmas in Rome” tour where we got to see the Pope deliver his annual Christmas address to the world from St. Peter’s Square. He not only got that secured for us, but also the ...
We cruised MSC, actually on Magnifica, 3 years ago, and were not impressed. THe itinerary for this ship was interesting and fit our tight schedule, so I reluctantly tried it again. I won't be fooled a third time.
MSC is a budget line. That's fine. But the food was inedible. While our servers were very good, the food routinely came out cold. Sometimes it was cold food on a hot plate (how is ...
Where to begin…
First, thing to know is that even though you may have paid for excursions in advance. Excursions are not confirmed by the ship until the night before the excursion port at 8pm. Which means you may have your plans cancelled at the last minute and have very few options to rebook as the good tours are already full. This was very frustrating as we had 2 tours cancelled the night ...
This was our 7th cruise with MSC but the first on the Magnifica, which we choose because of the great itinerary to Casablanca, Santa Cruz, Madeira, Malaga, Marseilles and Genoa and the ability to spend 3 nights before the cruise in Barcelona a city we had not visited, but thoroughly enjoyed, a great start to the holiday.
Embarkation in Barcelona was swift, seemingly only 400+ passengers were ...
