Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Musica

We chose this cruise due to the itinerary and price. We booked an inside guarantee and got upgraded to a deluxe balcony. The location was perfect. Very quiet and close to everything. The room was spacious, the balcony was awesome our our room steward was great. Only complaint: we could not get our ice bucket refilled since the machine the steward had access to was broken. This has never been ...

Surprisingly good after reading reviews

The reviews had me very nervous about MSC Divina, but the naysayers were wrong. We had a very good experience on this ship and found the staff, food, and overall experience to be way above what others have said. First, the most common complaints are about things beyond MSC’s control. The cruise line can’t control the rudeness of guests, nor can they control the way the Greek government runs ...

MSC Splendida Yacht Club Eastern Med cruise (Oct. 2023)

I'm not including ports of call here, as this is long enough and I haven't written them up yet. The ports were Corfu, Bari, Trieste (we went to Ljubljana), and Kusadasi (we went to Ephesus). Customization: The Yacht Club emails passengers to give you advance options for three things: the pillows, the newspaper, and the bottle of liquor in the room. Here are the options. Pillows: down, ...

This was our introduction to the world of cruising we decided to choose MSC due to the competitive price and the ports of call. We were travelling with the elderly so the boat needed to provide on board entertainment and that did not disappoint. First impressions of MSC were good very well organised at the port on the day of embarkation, check in seemed to be repeated as we had already ...

My family has taken about 20 plus cruises and MSC did a fairly great job in meeting our expectations. This was our first MSC cruise. I would say the highlight of this cruise was definitely the entertainment! the shows each night were elite! the dancers were exceptional. the pianist Antonio at the L’Atmosphere lounge was extremely talented. We ended up there every night. Edwin the waiter in the ...

I recently embarked on a Mediterranean cruise with MSc Musica, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The cleanliness of the rooms, particularly on Deck 8, truly stood out; they were impeccably maintained throughout the journey, ensuring a comfortable stay. The real stars of the cruise, however, were the staff. The waiters, including Walber, Josue in the L’Oleandro restaurant and Santosh ...

We went to a 7 day cruise on MSC Musica starting from Piraeus in August 2023. While MSC Musica is neither the newest nor biggest cruise ship MSC Cruises has, we (mom and I) enjoyed the cruise. The itinerary is one of the best there is with Haifa, Santorini and Mykonos being the best destinations. Others were nice, too; I'd say that if you want an extra sea day, skip Kusadasi unless you really ...

This cruise is a very nice way to visit several nice and different places in a single trip. You can experience the greek islands, the ruins of efeso, jerusalém, cyprus. All wonderful and diverse experiences. You can visit the cradle of occidental civilization in a few days. We made the cruise with our two teenage sons and was a balance between education and amusement. They enjoy the night disco ...

In 2015, we already went on a cruise in Norway on P&O Britannia (our story can be read in Russian at this link: English traditions on a P&O cruise on the new Britannia ship https://forum.awd.ru/viewtopic.php?p=6168033#p6168033). This time we decided to go to the northernmost point of Europe - the North Cape. We chose a cruise on the MSC Preziosa from July 14, 2023. Exit from Hamburg. Overall I ...
