Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We booked the world cruise for 116 nights but are home now after the horror show put up by this cruise company. We decided to come back in 80days because, the ship kept on running out of food. No choice for vegetarians except for salad (which is good for cows not human being). Ran out of fruit juices. Cancelled 10ports. Food if ever it was available it was inedible as it was under cooked. ...

Pros are supposed to go before cons, so I will put the positives first, but please don’t miss the negatives later in this review, because although there were a few redeeming qualities, make no mistake, I would never sail with MSC again. First positive, all the staff below the managerial level deserve to be commended for being true, if not powerless, delights. We had many wonderful interactions ...

If I could give no stars I would. I joined a world cruise with MSC and have had nothing but frustration and grievances. If you are a parent I highly suggest considering another cruise line. A child was assaulted by an adult passenger and when the parents filed a complaint after bringing him to the medical center, nothing was done but a warning. The baby pool on the cruise was under maintenance ...

WORSE WORLD CRUISE EVER- MSC IS THE WORST CRUISE COMPANY

We are currently on this terrible cruise Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us. 1. So many sea days Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees. As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...

MSC said the ship was refurbished in 2023 and they must be talking about the exterior of the ship. The public stairs lot dated with the teal and chocolate motif. The cabins are either navy or bordello red. The furniture in the cabin is worn, sun bleached and dated, think 90’s. Dining options are limited. There is the main dining room offering a selection of reoccurring average to say the best ...

We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available ...

MSC is a cruise line like no other. If you’ve been on other cruise lines you won’t like MSC Make sure you bring Kleenex. Bring Toilet unless you liked single ply paper. If you prepay for a dining package, you’ll be presented with a restricted menu. If you use a c-pak unite bring an extension cord, there are no outlets by the bed. Only 2outlets Only two places with ...

Great value but lots of room for improvement

The cruise, booked at the last minute, was a bargain, especially because the solo supplement was minimal. I was hoping that the solo experience would be okay, but that it really was not and the cruise line did almost nothing to make it a good experience. For me, the highlights were embarkation, disembarkation, cabin size, the gym and extended pool hours. The low points were food, restaurant ...

The Yacht Club service needs work

The Meraviglia is a huge ship and the Yacht Club is featured as a "ship within a ship". While there were many excellent experiences from sailing in this class, there were other elements that definitely need work. I was traveling with family and we had 4 cabins in the Yacht Club. I am an experienced traveler, mainly aboard Silversea, Seabourn and Viking and booked this cruise because my family ...

We chose this itinerary (back to back with Bermuda) because of the destinations and a good price. Also we had had a good expense on the Meravigilia in 2020, just before the pandemic. Overall we did enjoy our trip, at least we did until two of our travel companions got Covid, which was obviously a downer for them and us. There are many things we like about the Meravigilia and most of the ...
