MSC Europe Cruise Reviews

Me with a life ring. This is on the "Promenade" deck, which does not encircle the ship and offers no loungers or views.
After the messy check in, I was ready to board in Rio.
Late one night looking aft over the forward and middle pool areas.
Cabin 10003 overlooking the bow. My bottle of bubbly and delicious chocolate covered strawberries await.

Review for MSC Preziosa to Baltic Sea

Rio de Janiero to Lisbon April 8, 2022 16 nights My first MSC experience was the Opera in 2004. I had a great, 5-day cruise from San Juan to Florida. The crew was accommodating; the cruise director, in particular. He remembered my name after we met. I’ve been eager to sail MSC again, so when I saw a sailing from Rio to Lisbon, I just had to book it. I loved the ship, enjoyed wonderful ...

A few flaws but wouldn't hesitate to book again

Review for MSC Seaview to Europe - Western Mediterranean

Embarkation was problematic and stressful with ground staff unwilling to let us check in because of an alleged problem with a passport (the problem was non-existent and was finally cleared up by immigration but not before we'd been forced to stand to one side of the queue for 30 mins in 35°C heat). Once on board, however, all was forgiven. All the glitter and glam you'd expect from MSC. Pools and ...

Great itinerary so made the mistake of booking it was good value but this came at a cost Embarkation very disorganised and their party company used at horizon terminal were Apalling no crowd management and all running late with 4 queues and not doing in order of priority When finally on board room great and cabin steward great and couldn’t do enough Food poor and quality better in buffet ...

Small Ship, Friendly Staff, Amazing Entertainment, Fabulous Itinerary

Review for MSC Orchestra to Europe - Western Mediterranean

When searching for my third cruise and having experienced more premium offerings, i discovered this 10 day western Medi itinerary. Immediate concerns were that i heard MSC was an average cruise line, in the same club as RCL and Carnival. So what did i thought? Ok, we will have the ports. The food, staff, ship will be secondary. Completely wrong idea. Lets review by items: Ship: recently ...

Geared toward Italian/European cruisers, poor entertainment

Review for MSC Armonia to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Pros: Low price/good value, most staff, especially cabin steward and bar staff, itinerary. Cons: Entertainment was poor, buffet food was poor and very odd choices, customer service staff. Entire cruise geared toward Europeans. Specifics: Room: we had 2 balcony cabins and 1 inside cabin for my family members- the inside cabin was bigger than the balconies. No matter, as Marta, our ...

Not our first time to MSC, we chose MSC because we had travelled before Covid with them and had been impressed with their ships ,staff, food, cleanliness, price etc. The MSC Virtuosa is stunning, new, modern whilst remaining elegant & classy, it is a beautiful ship and we wouldn't hesitate to come back. MSC deserves A LOT OF CREDIT , the staff have 'nailed' health & safety re : Covid-19, we ...

Fantastic Crew

We chose this 14 night cruise because it departed and arrived in our home city of Malaga. We knew the ship as we had already cruised on her for five days in November. This time we opted for an inside cabin instead of a balcony and found it to be more spacious. The wardrobe isn't huge but we asked for more hangers and the wire ones created a lot more space than the big wooden ones supplied. The ...

We initially booked the cruise for 2020 but finally were able to go on the cruise 3/7/2022. We enjoyed it! We chose this cruise because we wanted to experience a Mediterranean cruise and visit the spesific ports. Embarking was very efficient, check in was great, staff were friendly. Disembarking at the ports was not too much of a hassle. We could not go to Mykonos due to weather but a alternative ...

Good cabin, tacky show, bored

Review for MSC Fantasia to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The cabin are very nice. So big pluss for that. Also check in was smoothe. The crew try to push a lot on you, even waiter (they get extra from it) like drinking package or spa or what ever. Its not any fun activity as NCL or RC. Like learning fun stuff, or like quiz in pub, bingo, chess, or nice gatherings like gin tasting or something. Just like try 5 most famous cheap gin for 20 euro. And the ...

We have cruised many times over 20 years with Princess, RC and Celebrity, this was our first with MSC. We chose this cruise because it ticked all our boxes, i.e price, extras, itinerary , and what with all the airport cancelations cruising from the UK would be less stressful. The cabin was very nice, a comfortable bed surrounded by nice decor. A nice powerful shower with good extraction, we ...
